Vanus Cruor was a gangster who ascended the ranks of the galactic crime syndicate known as the Exchange to become one of its top agents. At some point, the Corellian Security Force possessed a pixelated holo-image of Cruor's first meeting with a Rattataki assassin, Kaliyo Djannis. The image depicted Cruor with his arm affectionately draped around the armed woman while she held up a bottle of wine so he could drink from it.[1]
Behind the scenes
Vanus Cruor was mentioned in Kaliyo Djannis's entry in The Holonet, a web feature created to promote BioWare's then-upcoming video game, Star Wars: The Old Republic,[1] which was ultimately released in 2011.[2] Cruor was intended to appear in the game itself in the Imperial mission "The Excavators," but the mission was cut before the game's release.[3]
