The Vannell sector was located in the Core Worlds,[1] beyond the Koornacht Cluster.[3] A star system of the same name[4] lay within the sector[1] and contained the terrestrial planet Pollillus, homeworld of the sentient Troig species.[4]

Behind the scenes

The Vannell sector was first mentioned in an entry for Pollillus in the 2008 The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the sector's Vannell system in grid square J-10.[2]
