Vanilla cologne was a type of cologne that shared its name with vanilla,[1] a substance with a distinct scent.[2] Around 19 BBY,[3] Senator Mon Mothma rushed to the Chandrilan Embassy on the planet Coruscant—where she lived—after being informed an incident had occurred there. Upon arrival, she rushed into her husband Perrin Fertha's arms, noticing that he smelled of drink and vanilla cologne.[1]

Vanilla cologne was mentioned in the 2025 novel Reign of the Empire: The Mask of Fear, written by Alexander Freed as the first installment of the Star Wars: Reign of the Empire trilogy.[1]
