Vamblade

Vamblades were dagger-length blades that fell between brass knuckles and swords. They extended from durasteel vambraces, which mounted the blade and provided a degree of protection to the wielder's forearms. The S-1 Vamblade constructed by Prax Arms was a type of vamblade that possessed a magnetic locking mechanism for retraction or extension of the blade.^[1]
