Vale was a human male who lived during the Republic Era. He had a wife, Leerah, and two children, a daughter and a son. When the Jedi Order closed down the Jedi outpost on Tharben and the planet fell to crime, he and his wife lost their jobs there and were forced to depart the planet with their children. The family traveled aboard the Regal Voyager transport Regal Zephyr, where they encountered the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi.[1]
