Vakharon was an astronomical object. During the Galactic Civil War, Darth Vader oversaw a mining operation on Vakharon for what were thought to be kyber crystals, which would power the DS-2 Death Star II Mobile Battle Station. However, the "crystals" from Vakharon were discovered to actually be glass.^[1]
