In 3643 BBY, Vacuus' spirit possessed a Human that ventured in the Dark Temple. He and his Sith minions were on the search for the Ravager. Vacuus was hoping to find it and use it to exact his revenge on a contemporary Sith Lord, Lord Pharshol. However, his luck turned down when Darth Baras sent his apprentice to find the Ravager. Vacuus engaged the apprentice in a lightsaber duel, but was overwhelmed and defeated.
