VICTORY was the name of a propaganda poster produced by the Galactic Empire sometime after the Battle of Yavin during the Galactic Civil War, a series of conflicts between the Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. It depicted Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader with vertical lettering down his body. The text was in Aurebesh, the Galactic Basic Standard alphabet, and read "Victory Through Conform."[1]
Behind the scenes
VICTORY appeared in the 2003 massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars Galaxies. It was a rare loot drop from fallen stormtrooper enemies in the game. When the New Game Enhancements were released in November 2005, the poster was no longer obtainable, turning it into a valuable collectors item. The poster could be used in one of the player's personal structures as decoration.[1]
