Vermilion, welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wookieepedia. I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers: [[:File:Thoseabouttojediwesaluteyou.jpg|thumb|180px|New Wookieepedian, Luke Skywalker salutes you]]

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! — Riffsyphon1024 05:50, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Copyright Violations

If you find these, type this template on the page {{copyvio|URL}} with the URL of the address where it says URL of course. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:23, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Thanks. I'll do that. - Vermilion 06:28, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I have also asked Kosure on his/her talk page about this issue. I would hope he wasn't doing this intentionally, and it was just a mistake. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:30, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)
It appears as though many of his contributions were copied word for word from this site. I too hope it was unintentional, maybe he was just starting off with their text. I often find the greatest hurdle to writing is the horror of the blank page.--Eion 06:48, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I having trouble with him, he seems to be defying me, and saying that they are his articles. But if they are copyed word for word, even with only a few words linked, that is still plagiarism, and maybe he doesn't know the meaning of "plagiarism". -- Riffsyphon1024 20:16, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Also he just deleted his welcome sign and VT-16's message to him about categories. -- Riffsyphon1024 20:19, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Supershadow

Thanks for your information regarding Supershadow and his copying of Milleniumfalcon.com. It seems that Supershadow is one big fake. If he pretends to be George Lucas answering peoples questions then can't someone charge him with identity theft? --Mantus 21:15, 2 May 2005 (UTC)

I have no idea how he gets away with it. - Vermilion 01:48, 3 May 2005 (UTC)

RSS

Hey Vermilion. I was under the impression that the HIMS decision was not just one of choosing to avoid using HIMS for its less-than-supported nature, but also to avoid other ship prefixes due to the gross inconsistencies in their use across sources. I'm fairly indifferent towards the use of RSS, but perhaps we should have a new round of discussion on their use to provide consistency across the wiki. --SparqMan 10:00, 14 Oct 2005 (UTC)

OK, I misunderstood and thought you had deleted it thinking it was fanon. I see what you mean about the inconsistencies. Discussion of this would probably be good. --Vermilion 12:00, 14 Oct 2005 (UTC)

You always revert my edits...

Why is that? Sometimes you do it without backing up anything.
