Bullets

I see what you are saying about the bullets Tm. Should this be put up to a vote or something then? Since there is not really a formal policy? I'm not sure what to do? I like both ways, but I was mainly asking because I am always doing minor edits like adding bullets or correcting spelling, stuff like that. So I feel like I NEED a firm answer. Clone Commandos

Do you mind telling me what was wrong with my edit and what is OU? Because Fixer does only have 2 dots and the other two has two dots on their left chest plate as well. DarthHyperion 14:45, January 16, 2011 (UTC)

  • Certaintly, "although only Fixer's is visible without the use of a visual enhancer" the need of visual enhancer is not from Star Wars universe (unless you can provide source for this), so it's so called "Out Of Universe" information and thus belong only into the Bts. Also, you changed already sourced information, so changing it without providing any reason will cause reversion more likely than not. Hopefully this clears things up, and if not just ask and I'll try help. (: –Tm_T (Talk) 15:10, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
    • Thanks! But where do I put the reason for change? I did not think it appropriate to write a paragraph in the edit summary. The two dots are visible In-Universe actually. It becomes visible when you use the sniper attachment on the dc17 to look at their chest plate. It has been stated before than the sniper scope has visual enhancers including X-Ray, thus it is definitely In-Universe. DarthHyperion 15:40, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
      • You could shortly explain that in edit summary, or simply state "explained in talk page" and then explain it in the talk page. And actually if you like, you could make a short reference for that explanation and/or explain it in talk page, and based on that, re-enter the information. Hey Tm,

As far as I know, the title for Second Battle of Empress Teta is indeed conjectural; feel free to make the necessary amendments, and run them by me if you are unsure as to their accuracy. Novar's is a question of years, and it will take a bit of research in the Tales of the Jedi Companion and/or The Dark Side Sourcebook to figure out the date exactly, which will still be an estimation since neither source gives exact years for those types of things. Thanks for explaining the part about the bot that leaves the message itself on new user's page. I wanted o know that whether I should edit the Bot Page and replace the current message with the template?   • I would say yes, do so if you feel you want the bot to do it. But also I would recommend what we do here (and what Riff is advocating) that you monitor Special:Log/newusers and welcome them personally before bot acts if possible. If you are the only one to welcome them, you can also make the template to include your signature if desired. There's other approaches too, so feel free to find out the way you feel best suited to your needs. (: –Tm_T (Talk) 11:44, March 10, 2011 (UTC)

Millennium Falcon: FA

Hi, I have recently been cleaning up the page on the Millennium Falcon and i can see no reason why it cant be a featured article; it hits all the criteria. However, when I try to nominate it, it wont let me, as it was turned down in 2006.   • Sure, first of all, you have to read with care both description and related rules for the nomination. The next step is to go through all appearances and sources for the ship. While doing that, you can improve the article accordingly, and it might eventually be ready for the nomination. If you feel that this is a massive job, that's what it really is. Addendum to Wikia note

Hey, thought it best to reply here rather than set some off-topic discussion going in that SH thread: Without noting that simple fact, people would have clicked through (possibly concerned that their main interface for editing the wiki would be changed) to see that, no, they aren't "changing the way the edit page looks" if they are using Monobook. Last I checked, Monobook was the preferred skin on Wookieepedia (or at least used among the editors who would dislike such changes most). Given that NASCAT said that "most of the improvements are just to help users of the Rich Text Editor", it wasn't clear if it would affect anything else thus I provided some logical clarification, so I dispute your labelling of it as "unhelpful". That said, I probably could have worded it with less of a aggravating tone, so I do apologise and thank you for picking me up on that. Cheers, NAYAYEN 20:30, April 18, 2011 (UTC)

Implant Level System

Hello, I was requested to ask someone who was part of WP:KOTOR about the Implant Level System used in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. My main question is whether or not the Implant Level System is an in-universe term or if it should just be treated as game-mechanics. Intro

Now I am confused, Imperators II did not remove unsourced data from the Fresia article on grounds that it did not need to be sourced in the intro and he did not attempt to source it in the body. Can you help me with the source. I try to add a link as source. But I still think its alot of work for something that everyone should be able to know. Wookiee Preoject KOTOR GA count

Hello, I was adding some articles to the good article page for WP:KOTOR and I noticed that the GAcount provided by [[:Template:KOTORgac]] seemed to be off slightly. I looked more closely at the articles on the KOTOR good article page and saw that the numbers were further off than I thought. The reason I am asking about this is because I want to be sure what should be added to the GA count and what should not be added. Out of these possible situations which are to be included in the count?

  • An article that is currently a GA and was promoted by a member of the project. (The only one I am sure that should be in the list, but when I total these up I only get 50.)
  • An article that was promoted outside of the project.
  • An article that no longer has GA status but did not become a FA.
  • A former GA that is a current FA.
  • A former GA that is a former FA.

Well that's about every possibility, I just wanted to ask someone who had been in the project awhile about this instead of possibly messing up the GA count even further. Thank you for your time.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 14:26, August 11, 2011 (UTC)

  • ALL GA's that are within the scope of the project, nominated inside or outside of the project. About former articles, I'd leave them out from the count. Hi. About battle of Koros Major. I know probably it is a speculation, but none is a lie! How there is no casualties in the battle in which space and ground forces fought each other at the grand scale. Even Jori, sister of Gav, killed some Massassi warriors who had killed Arraba the Hutt. Even, the articles states that Sith lost this battle and that without Sith commander (Gav) Sith forces were defeated. In what way? Did they all surrender? No. They went uncoordinated and were probably decimated. Please, accept my reasoning here. I can agree with statement No notabile figures at least, but certainly with "None".
