Wookiees-Transparent

Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —Supreme Emperor (talk) 01:48, December 31, 2014 (UTC)

A few things

  • I fixed your big red box above; it was missing a closing </div> tag, which was causing the sidebar and top tabs in the Monobook skin to act all funky. :P
  • In response to your question on Borsk Fey'lya's talk page, no. Specifically, your signature cannot have more than two font colors, and cannot contain more than one link in addition to the mandatory user page link (this means that you can link to your talk page or your contribs, but not both). Please see Wookieepedia:Signature policy for the full rules on signatures. To fix your signature here without changing it across all of Wikia, perform these steps:
    1. Go to w:c:community:User:JustAnIng/defaultsig and create that page, with its sole contents being your current signature code (what is currently entered in your preferences).
    2. Go to User:JustAnIng/sig and create that page with a signature that complies with our signature policy.
    3. In your preferences, replace the contents of the signature field with exactly the following: {{subst:#ifexist:User:JustAnIng/sig|{{subst:User:JustAnIng/sig}}|{{subst::w:User:JustAnIng/defaultsig}}}} This will cause the system, when you sign, to check for a local signature at User:JustAnIng/sig on the wiki you are on at the moment, use that if it exists, and fall back to w:c:community:User:JustAnIng/defaultsig if a local signature doesn't exist.
  • With regard to File:Ing.jpg, please note that per rule 10 of the user image policy, you must be eligible to vote on all site processes in order to have personal user images. As you currently do not, I will therefore be deleting your image in a moment. You are welcome to reupload it, or ask for it to be undeleted, after you have met the requirements to vote.

Those two minor issues (common among newbies) aside, welcome! I hope you stick around and help out a bit! :) —MJ— Comlink 05:41, December 31, 2014 (UTC)

Okay, thanks for that! About the signature setting although, does that bit of source coding go in after my current signature, or do I replace it in Preferences?

Also, does that mean that I have to create a new signature page for each wiki? Wikia gets to be a little confusing sometimes, I'm still getting the hang of source coding. Anyway, thanks!

That code replaces what is in your preferences. As long as you have the sig page set up here and the defaultsig page set up on Community Central, you're good to go with that code. There is no need to create a separate signature page on every wiki (unless you want to, of course). —MJ— Jedi Council Chambers 21:58, December 31, 2014 (UTC)
