Re: Jawa

While it may be one, I don't think an ambiguous hooded figure constitutes a Jawa. It would be wise to wait for official clarification. - Cwedin(talk) 17:06, April 8, 2016 (UTC)

Prefsbelt Fleet Camp Academy

Hey. The reason Xd1358 deleted your Prefsbelt Fleet Camp Academy page is because there was nothing on it other than an eras template. While you are correct that pages don't need to be fully finished when they are created, they do need content on them—at least one sentence's worth of content. Even if all you make is a stub page in the initial revision, that's fine. Just assume that when you post a page, there are going to be people reading it. That means giving them empty pages is not a good experience for them. So, you are welcome to re-create the page, but please only do so once you have content to post there. Let me know if you have any questions about this. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 16:54, May 22, 2016 (UTC)

  • Per Brandon. There's no need to rush things by first creating an empty page and then adding content. The first step is unnecessary. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 21:32, May 23, 2016 (UTC)

I completely overreacted, and I understand why it was deleted. Thanks guys! TheStarWarsPortal (talk) 21:38, May 23, 2016 (UTC)

Stobar

No canonical sources ever identify Stobar as a planet. The information that you are adding is Legends-exclusive; it doesn't belong on the canon page. - AV-6R7Crew Pit 15:58, June 11, 2016 (UTC)

Kit Fisto

You're gonna have to re-upload that image of Kit Fisto under a new name cause you just overwrote an existing image from a legends source and it'll change any pages it's on to the one you just uploaded --Lewisr (talk) 14:46, January 27, 2017 (UTC)

  • As you continue editing the Kit Fisto canon article, please stop uploading duplicate images to use on it. I marked two images you just uploaded for deletion because they were duplicate of images that were already in use elsewhere on Wookieepedia. We have a plethora of Kit Fisto images to check before uploading a potential duplicate. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 01:35, February 24, 2017 (UTC)

Can you go on the book Line of Duty and make a Wookapeida for Beznaz.

Greedo

Hello, TheStarWarsPortal. Unfortunately, that is not how we operate articles here. Deleted scene information, including screenshots, must be kept in the behind the scenes section. They cannot qualify as proper canonical images in an article's main body. The Greedo image, in this case, is suitable in the behind the scenes section, if you wish to replace the set image. Otherwise, the image will be removed again in Greedo's main body. In order to avoid an edit war and confrontation, I'll wait for your response here before I remove it again. • I would have thought as the scene is technically canon, an image from it would have been okay to include in the biography section of the article? Nevertheless I understand and I shall delete the image from the article.Unsigned comment by TheStarWarsPortal (talk • contribs)
    • Not the image or the Qui-Gon quote, I'm afraid. They are from a deleted scene, which isn't apart of the actual movie. You can, however, include canonical information from the TPM novel, or the Star Wars Encyclopedia, in the article's main body, as they are proper legend sources. I'm sure you can find a quote in the novel. Does this make sense? JangFett (Talk) 00:46, April 15, 2017 (UTC)
      • I'm not sure what information would be classified as canon or not, so it would probably be better for you to delete the necessary information, however, shouldn't this mean that the quote and a large portion of the information from the Personality and traits section should be deleted too? And my apologies for bombarding you with so many questions, but I thought the TPM novel wasn't considered canon? Unsigned comment by TheStarWarsPortal (talk • contribs)
        • No need to apologize. Editing can be tough, especially if you're not aware of what is canon or not. Take a look at WP:CANON as a start. To clarify what I said—The Greedo image and the Qui-Gon quote originate from a deleted scene. It's no longer apart of the canonical movie, and therefore it has no place in the article's main body (which include the bio and P&T sections). Any information from the deleted scene, be it the quote, image, and what happened in the scene, should be placed in the behind the scenes section.
But here's where it can get tricky, especially if you're editing a legends article, including Greedo's: Outside of the movie, however, the Greedo vs Anakin moment occurred. In the TPM novel, as well as a brief mention in the online StarWars.com encyclopedia. So, you're technically right—the Greedo vs Anakin moment is canon, but we cannot include the deleted scene into the mix, because that scene is deleted and not canon.
As for the novel, you're right. It shouldn't be included in the canon article. Right now, unless an official canon source shows the Greedo vs Anakin moment, the article should avoid its mention entirely. JangFett (Talk) 01:00, April 15, 2017 (UTC)
