Spoilers

Please make sure you add the {{Spoiler}} template to every article you add a spoiler to, as I have done for you on Madhi Vaandt. Thank you. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 04:48, December 1, 2010 (UTC)

Force psychosis

Hey, just letting you know I reverted your edit to Force psychosis because the beings were killed by Abeloth directly, not the disease itself. (I was typing as much in the edit summary, but it freaked out on me and then the page saved it with some major typos in the summary and an incomplete message) Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 21:11, December 15, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Article merging

No, Force net and control web are not even close to being the same Force power; all one has to do is read the articles to see that. Control web is essentially a mind control spell used mainly on animals and developed by the Nightsisters of Dathomir, whereas Force net is literally a net of Force energy that can be used as a normal net that when tightened will slice the victim into pieces. As for Ben Skywalker, the article needs updating, some major cleanup, and just in general a complete rewrite in some sections. Unfortunately, I currently don't have the time to fully fix up the article myself. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 06:36, January 24, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Conviction

Hey Shadowsaber, thanks for coordinating with me sow e can avoid edit-conflicts. Actually, I always start with the articles that I have taken to status. So, most likely the articles I will be editing first are those like Gavar Khai, Keshiri, Sith armada, Mission to the Maw, any of several other various characters whose articles I have written that may pop up in Conviction, etc. Then I usually move on to Abeloth and Force psychosis, since those always get a lot of attention, but have not always been home to the most accurate edits, and it's usually not until after that that I'll move on to articles like Vestara Khai (I do still hope to one day FA her once the series is over, but until then, there're other articlles that need more attention first). Hope this helps; if you have any more questions, just let me know. :) Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 13:53, May 19, 2011 (UTC)

RE: FOTJ articles

Good afternoon, Shadowsaber,

No problem about the cleanup. It appears as though I'm actually ahead of you in the book, so you go ahead and create Fala. If it needs cleanup, then I'll get to it, no worries. Take notice of the changes I made to your articles and implement them as you create new articles. You may also want to consult our layout guide for more complete information with regard to article creation. Thanks for your contributions, we enjoy having productive members help out around the house here. I only ask that you remember to sign all of your posts with four tildes, like this: ~~~~ Other than that, feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.—Tommy 9281 Tuesday, May 24, 2011, 16:34 UTC

Re: Construction

Hey Shadowsaber, if you intend to spend a bunch of time editing a certain article over the next couple of days, just add the {{Inuse}} template to the page. Mention in the template approximately how long you plan to be working on the article, and add your user name inside the template so people know who's working on it. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 00:17, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

  • No problem. Unfortunately I haven't gotten my copy yet. My local book store didn't have it in today, but they said it should hopefully be there tomorrow. Before you go mass-create a bunch of articles though, make sure you familiarize yourself with the Manual of Style and Layout Guide, and continue to refer to them as you create the articles. You want to make sure that you focus on quality over quantity. It's always better to create an article slowly over a longer period of time and to make sure that you do everything the right way than to crank out a lot of articles in a short time with a lot of mistakes in them. If you have any more questions or more specific queries regarding creating articles, let me know, and I'll be glad to help. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 00:55, May 25, 2011 (UTC)
    • Yeah, something similar to that would be good—basically, in the prelude you want to briefly detail whatever preceding events the reader would have to know about in order to understand what transpires during that battle (when it comes to context like this, we always write our articles so that readers who have not read any of the source material itself can understand what's going on). Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 02:41, May 25, 2011 (UTC)
      • I'd like to reiterate the necessity for you to understand the Manual of Style and Layout Guide before you create articles. You created Crystal Valley (Nam Chorios) without following multiple important rules described in those two policy pages. Most important among those you missed was your failure to list the article subject's appearances in an appearance section. If left as such, the article will be deleted for being unverified and possible fanon. You also did not add any categories to the page when you first created it (this was done so later by another user), and your subsectioning was sloppily done, and left incorrect. Check out the changes I made to fix these issues, and please make sure you follow the MOS and LG when creating any more pages in the future. Thank you. Categories

Hey Shadowsaber, just letting you know that I removed the Jedi vs. Sith category from Battle in the Fallanassi village and Battle on Nam Chorios, because it's a category for the comic series, not for battles between Jedi and Sith. Always remember to double-check the edits you make to make certain you're adding/changing what you think you're adding/changing. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 00:52, May 26, 2011 (UTC)

Can you update the pages of the characters that appear in Conviction? Thanks! :) Unsigned comment by Senjuto (talk • contribs)

Inuse

Hey Shadowsaber, while your edit to Operation Shieldfall is appreciated, please respect the {{inuse}} tag and do not edit the article while it is there. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 01:52, May 31, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Cyndra

Wow, good catch. I was writing that one from memory (I just wanted to stub it for now to kill another redlink), and when I popped on our Conviction article, I saw Cyndra and I guess memory failed me, because I thought that she was the right one. Also, yeah—Cyndra was added to Conviction by The Forgotten Jedi; I'm not sure where it is in the book myself, so I would ask Forgotten Jedi about where in the book Cyndra appears.
