unfair

  • Four things:
  1. At the time, there was a vandal going around vandalizing userpages. I thought it might have been him.
  2. He was removing the block tags from the page.
  3. He proclaimed a homophobic, unrepentant vandal a hero.
  4. Why were you even looking at the block log? Are you him?

  • This qualifies as vandalism. Since we don't yet have a mandatory warning policy, no abuse of power occurred. And, honestly, I don't think you'd find anyone to report SFH to who wouldn't agree that anyone even tangentially associated with Swainstonation and any of his homophobic cronies should be banned on sight. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 02:56, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

If you truly feel that User:70.112.158.200 has been wronged, you are welcome to bring it up on the Admin noticeboard; however, I don't think it's likely that you will get much support. Removing tags from a blocked user's page does qualify as vandalism, and proclaiming a vandal to be a hero certainly doesn't help the situation. At present, our blocking policy is little more than a set of guidelines feeble recommendations – to date, I can think of only one or two admins who have followed it with any level of consistency.     • And as far as Wikipedia goes: if went to Wikipedia, got into an edit war where you repeatedly claimed without evidence that, say, Harry Truman was gay, and vandalised the userpages of everyone who disagreed with you by calling them gay, you would be blocked. If that was the extent of your contributions, your account would be banned permanently as a vandalism-only account. If you or a friend in the same IP block started anonymously complaining about this in the way you have done, the complaints would fall on deaf ears, and that IP might get short blocks as well. Hutt

  • That's not just the only problem. It's a composite of two images, which essential makes it fan made. I realize that the two images are from canonical sources, but they are still brought together. And there is another thing. You're image happy. Slow down on the uploads. On the next image, genuinely ask yourself if the image truly contributes to the overall article, or if the image just looks nice. -- SFH 00:58, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

    • I already got that article covered. The pipe is there to be a sort of intro. The Pipe is one of the Hutt's most famous trademarks. I couldn't find any good pics. of a REAL Jabba pipe. YoDa90210

Hello, you have just block this user for a month for a single vandalism. Please read blocking on Central Wikia. At the same time accidental person get block and, as he is saing, this vandalism was only a joke [2]. Please consider unblocking this two this time.   • As for why the unblock didn't work: it looks to me like when you unblocked YoDa90210, the 24-hour autoblock on the IP he shared with BobafettH23 was still active. Hopefully, when I went to the blocked IP list and clicked the unblock link on that autoblock, that fixed the problem. (If that was what happened, I suppose we'll have to remember to undo autoblocks and regular userblocks if a case like this comes up in the future.) Mp3 or OOG

I can put movies in audio, only if they are on VhS and I'll put'em on a DVD to get the audio from it. Why can't you post MP3s? What are oogs? I am in the prosses of making a couple audio clips of my top articles I'm known for writing: Jabba the Hutt, Dooku, and Gamorrean / Gamorrean guard. I don't know where to go with this creation. Does Userbox proposals include this? How do you like it? There is no templte for Nominated Admins. This is the best I came up with. Jabba the Hutt obviously is my target.

Hello, I'm Brandon Rhea, one of the two writers of the site "The REAL SuperShadow" that the Mickey Suttle article is heavily based on. I am currently re-writing many of the things on our site and I was wondering if, should I cite Wookieepedia as a source, you would mind if I used some of the sections from the Mickey Suttle page, considering some sections on that page are word for word the same as my site. In the beginning, it was basically the same exact thing word for word. After awhile, it was spruced up and added to and that's basically what you copied. But, if you take a look at the link for "The REAL SuperShadow" in the sources section of the Wookieepedia Mickey Suttle page you'll see so many similarities. Even the set up is almost exactly the same. We don't really care if it stays how it is on Wookieepedia, but I would like the same courtesty extended to us considering I only want to use one or two sections from the Mickey Suttle article that we do not have. Personal attacks/cooldown

  • SFH, would you mind looking at User talk:Jack Nebulax, User talk:RelentlessRecusant, Forum:Templates for ship classes? and especially User:Ugluk. There's been a fairly civil discussion between RelentlessRecusant, TopAce, and Nebulax going on over some differences in opinion, but every time I see Ugluk posting there, it's usually in the form of some slight on Nebulax. On his page, he has a userbox that says "This user thinks Nebulax has a superiority complex." Is that considered a personal attack? Also, I believe he and Nebulax have some history. Thanks.
