Funeral of Anakin Skywalker
Hey Relsis23. Every source we have that's available says that Luke became a Jedi Knight in Episode VI, not a Jedi Master. It stands to reason that he wasn't considered a Jedi Master until he started training students. Regardless of when he became one, though, we don't have a source saying when he became a Jedi Master. So the Funeral of Anakin Skywalker page needs to continue reflecting that he was a Jedi Knight at the end of Episode VI. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 00:40, June 3, 2016 (UTC)
- To add onto that, you're in danger of violating Wookieepedia's three-revert rule, which is meant to prevent edit-warring. It would be appreciated if you settled down and turned your attention elsewhere. Thanks. IFYLOFD (Talk) 00:51, June 3, 2016 (UTC)
- It's definitely not black and white. All sources say he became a Jedi Knight, since he finished his training in Episode VI. Canonically, The Force Awakens was the first story to call him a Jedi Master. Until there's a source that explicitly refers to him as a Jedi Master in Episode VI (which I don't think there will be), then I'm afraid your argument is speculative and it can't be reflected in our articles. Sorry! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 00:58, June 3, 2016 (UTC)
RE: The Chosen One
IMDb is not considered a valid source to Wookieepedia. Click Here to learn how to source. The real source to the Chosen One article was the behind the scenes featurette, The Chosen One, on the Revenge of the Sith DVD. There is no need to call me an "asshole" on my talk page. Remember to always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes: ~~~~. Cheerio. Brules

- Was that actually mentioned in the movie? I don't remember the actual title of "Grand Master" being featured in TFA. 1358 (Talk) 23:53, June 5, 2016 (UTC)
- Just to chime in, Wikipedia isn't a source. While the Legends timeline may have Luke as a Grand Master, if he's not specifically mentioned as a Grand Master in a Canon source we can't call him one. 03:35, June 6, 2016 (UTC)
- Yoda is mentioned as Grand Master in his Databank entry. "In the latter days of the Old Republic, Yoda served as Grand Master of the Jedi Council". Brules

RE: The Chosen One
Okay, I see what you're saying. I changed the specific citation, so that it links to the featurette because linking it to the film makes it appear that the interview was in the film itself. DarkKnight2149 20:48, June 21, 2016 (UTC)
