- QuentinGeorge, I would like to know why you blocked me for vandalism. I got on to edit about The Death Star II and it said I have been blocked by you for vandalism. Prince Xizor 01:11, 15 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- I haven't blocked your Username, so it's likely either a) An IP you are using was banned for vandalism b) An IP range you are within was banned for vandalism. Please check List of blocked IP addresses and usernames and tell me which one was you. QuentinGeorge 04:31, 15 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Question
Can you please answer my questions that i had post at the jedi master,Freedon Nadd, and Kirana Ti discussion board.I'd like to be answer by you.Thanks.

Could you fix the link on the Interim Ruling Council? Admirals Banjeer and Jeratai don't link to their respective pages. Is this because their names don't show the (Admiral) title after their name? If so, how do I change the name of the article? And is there a way to make certain searches link to a page? Or is that reserved just to moderators?
- Looks like Sparqman already fixed it. Anyone can create redirects, by the way. QuentinGeorge 07:56, 25 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info, and thanks to Sparqman if he reads this.
Super-whatsisname
Thanks for the prompt block on Super S - but could you make it a little bit longer? 10 days isn't much of a deterrent. (I'm even tempted to ask for a preemptive permablock for any username what sounds like SuperShadow or Mickey Suttle, but that might be overdoing it a bit.) Thanks again, — Silly Dan 02:04, 27 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- If it's the same guy, it seems he just abandons user names once he's vandalised with them, and then comes back a few weeks later under a different name. QuentinGeorge 02:18, 27 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Fair enough. — Silly Dan 02:28, 27 Nov 2005 (UTC)

A user with the IP 65.186.95.194 9 (who once vandalized your user page) is making bogus articles again. I'd bring this up to the vandalism in progress page but it seems like no one checks there. Kuralyov 07:24, 27 Nov 2005 (UTC)

I'd like to call an admin meeting. Please check out the discussion. Thanks. WhiteBoy 07:30, 28 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Some advice
Just wondering what the next step is to Talk:Ship_classification|end this senseless conflict? I assume we wait, for now, but I don't know the procedure. Thanks!! --McEwok 18:55, 28 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Gimme a bit. I might have to get another admin in on it. QuentinGeorge 19:48, 28 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- No trouble. I'm happy to wait, as long as that's what I'm supposed to be doing! (And thanks for the prompt reply!) --McEwok 20:17, 28 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Greedo the Elder
Noticed you used a pic from the webstrip for the death of said character. I thought HS pics were forbidden?JustinGann 02:01, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Direct pastes, yes. I cropped the pic so that it wasn't the entire strip (and removed context, speech bubbles, etc). I think that's covered under fair use. QuentinGeorge 02:06, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)
Rodian Senator
Wow, thx! That's great that they used his Ep I costume for that pic, even the aides!JustinGann 09:12, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)
Senator Ravein
I have added the source info. This character is 100% canon, as I demonstrated in the talk page. The confusion seems to have been that people thought the article dealt with his DAUGHTER, whom was NOT a Senator. However, the character dealt with is not the main Ravein character in UA, but her father mentioned as backstory. Whomever said it "did not match up" did not read the character entry in the book very closely. Hope everything is now clear. Regards;) JustinGann 12:00, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)
Join us!
Y helo thar. I have recently created a new exciting WookieeProject (WookieeProject Missing articles) dedicated to making this fine wiki utterly complete. I see from your lists of missing articles that you share my dream. So, would you care to join me, adding your lists to the Project? --Imp 20:27, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)
Gand
Darthwill edited the appearances list on the Gand species page, and it appears he accidentally erased all the rest of it. You can revert it, right? (BTW, if there's some other way I should be reporting this, please let me know. :))--Valin Kenobi 02:44, 11 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Actually, anyone can revert pages, but admins have a special button. For non-admins, all you have to do is go to the "history" tab, select the version of the page you want to revert to, click edit, then click save. Voila! QuentinGeorge 02:46, 11 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, I see now. Good to know--thanks!--Valin Kenobi 03:31, 11 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Are you sure she and Fay are same species? I mean, Fay's human colored, Lourdes is neon pinkJustinGann 21:58, 21 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Useful Contributions
You said that I have yet to make even a single useful contribution (to paraphrase your words). I have at least 3 (maybe more) :
Notable fanon: http://starwars.wikicities.com/index.php?title=List_of_fanon_creations&action=history The part that says fans assumed 8,215 BC was the year of the Battle of Yavin is notable, as it comes from TFN's TimeTales (from years ago). I even provided Google search results to prove it.
Emphasizing SS's mistake: http://starwars.wikicities.com/index.php?title=SuperShadow&action=history I added "though The Universe is found to only be 78 billion light years in diameter." (regarding his claimed distance between the galaxies of 850 tril light-years.
Making a useful redirect: http://starwars.wikicities.com/index.php?title=Vandalism_in_Progress&action=history Users are likely to simply type "Vandalism in Progress" so this redirect couldn't hurt.
At least 3 is better than none. I wish for things to calm down amongst us all.
(Please don't tell me that Star Wars fans typically get annoyed easily. I wish to get along like I do on Wikipedia. By the way, do you know Marudubshinki? He's a Wikipedian admin and also a Star Wars fan. I don't know if he's an admin here too but I know the guy, and am cool with each other.)
May the Light side of the Force be with us. --68.102.193.78 21:56, 5 Jan 2006 (UTC)
SN
Quentin, what's your AIM SN?JustinGann 08:27, 9 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not on AIM. QuentinGeorge 08:34, 9 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Ok. Well, long story short, most birthdates are based on:
1) birthdates established in books from my own reading 2) Time Tales or Timeline Gold 3) IMDB or SWAD (actors' ages)
using #3 I always use "c. " to indicate approximate age. I checked with Rifs before doing this, and he ok-ed it, but since you object, I will hold off continuing this until I can here your further imput. ;)
- It's just a few seem to be off to me. For example, Tap Nar-Pal. He was selected as a padawan in 32 BBY, and since padawans are selected between the ages of 9 and 13, he can't be born in 37 BBY. QuentinGeorge 08:54, 9 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- The birthdates I gave for Ronhar and Tap are not inaccurate, they were given me by John Ostrander himself:
I would like to know your source for him being taken as a Padawan in 32 BBY? :) JustinGann 09:07, 9 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- 1) Author's comments aren't canon.
- 2) Tap's only appearance his master mentions that he took Tap as padawan the same time as Palpatine became chancellor. QuentinGeorge 10:11, 9 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- hmmm...well well...he is a Cerean, dont they mature faster than humans?
- No. Ultimate Alien Anthology establishes they mature at the same rate. QuentinGeorge 10:48, 9 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Re: New Sith Wars
I agree that Lahzar's defeat was definitely a battle, and I was considering putting it in before I decided it was too unknown. They definitely need to make a New Sith Wars sourcebook to pin some of this stuff down.
Anyways, going from the comic, here's what I envisioned the (presumably) sixth battle consisted of:
- Charny's men move into position.
- The Sith ground forces advance and are defeated.
- The Dark Lords use their battlemind meditation.
- Farfalla's ship goes through the blockade.
- The Dark Lords launch their aerial attack.
- Farfalla's ship destroys much of the Sith swoop force.
- Duel between Charny and Githany/Tomcat.
The problem with making Farfalla's entry a separate battle would make it difficult to keep the other stuff in the same battle, since chronologically they're on opposite sides of Farfalla's advancement. Also, I wonder how much fighting he actually did on the way down, seeing as Torr was able to pilot his unarmed frighter down to virtually the planet's surface before the Sith launched (two) fighters. Kuralyov 20:34, 9 Jan 2006 (UTC)
On the subject of the New Sith Wars, I'd like to hear your opinion on something I posted at the Kaan talkpage. Kuralyov 23:24, 9 Jan 2006 (UTC)
Fett's blasters
Good eye on that blaster image order. I've been doing so much on Boba Fett and its related pages today that some minor things have slipped by me. Thanks!--DannyBoy7783 06:13, 12 Jan 2006 (UTC)
Jervis Gloom
Repeatedly, I have asked that the page Jervis Glum be changed to Jervis Gloom, as Gloom is the spelling used throughout the game. Please change the name to make the information correct. Trosk 21:42, 14 Jan 2006 (UTC)

I don't mean to bug you, but...
The Recent Changes page indicates that you're the admin most recently active, so I'm begging you to please block 65.67.113.154. He's being stubbornly stupid on the B-wing starfighter page. Jack Nebulax has had to remove his fanon four times today and he hasn't responded to our explanation for reverting his idiotic edits on the B-wing talk page or his user talk page. —Darth Culator (talk) 20:28, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Why the heck did you delete the live action picture of Jerec? --Razzy1319 21:44, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

The Battles of Ruusan
Sorry to bug you, but as you have written basically all the material on the Battles of Ruusan I thought I'd bring this to you. I have two concerns with the descriptions of the battles and thought maybe you could tell me your reasoning.
1. We know that the Sith only won two battles, but what makes you put the seventh battle as a Sith victory? It can be clearly seen that there are remnants of Hoth's army, albeit not Jedi warriors, at the end of the battle, and there doesn't seem to be any Sith warriors present. Or is there another reason why the first three battles are put as Jedi victories?
2. The Fourth Battle of Ruusan is described as Kiel Charny's forces disabling the turrets. Why is this? If we group all those events listed by Kuralyov into the Sixth Battle, why then is this not grouped with the fifth battle. When Obi-wan and Anakin disable the shield in the Confederacy base in the Clone Wars cartoon and then the forces attack the camp, the disabling of the shields is not placed as a separate battle. I understand that this instance isn't exactly the same due to a difference in forces involved, but I would like a better explanation. Is it because the two instances are separated by a longer interval?
Thanks for your timeCull Tremayne 21:04, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- Hi!
- 1) Some of the early NSW materials (ie the Dark Forces novella) mentioned that the Sith lost 5 out of the 7 battles of Ruusan. Since we don't see all these battles in JvS, it's a bit of a toss-up deciding which ones are won or lost. In my view: 7th is definately a loss for the Sith (since we have Farfalla accepting the surrender of Kopecz), 6th is either a Sith victory (due to Bane's force-destruction) or a stalemate (due to Farfalla's intervention). The previous battle is definately a Jedi victory
- 2)I guess you're right, it could go either way, but the feeling I got from JvS was that these were two distinct battles, separated by an interval of time. QuentinGeorge 05:14, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the responses.
1)The reason I asked is that the way the battles are listed, there are 6 battles attributed as Jedi victories (1-5 & 7) and only one battle attributed to the Sith (6). I was just trying to understand if that was an error or something else. Thanks for clearing that up.
2) Ah, okay. Well until other info is released then. :D - Cull Tremayne 02:52, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
