Your recent image
Since it's a screenshot from Episode III, the copyright for that image does not belong to you, and it is not in the public domain, even if you took it with your camera. Please fix the information template if you really want to use it. Thanks, —Silly Dan (talk) 01:44, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
- For one thing, any image created by using a cell phone to take a picture of a TV or computer screen is going to be of such low quality that it cannot be used in an article. To be honest, working with images is an advanced operation, and I don't recommend inexperienced users start on it right away. If you wanted to use such an image on your userpage, that would be OK, as long as you follow Wookieepedia:User image policy and put the {{user-image}} template on it. You must also fill out the {{information}} template whenever you upload an image. Under source, you would put, for example, a link to the TV episode you took the screenshot from. Under licensing, you would put one of the templates from Category:Copyright templates -- the ones you uploaded would use {{Screenshot}}. If you don't know how to use templates, please read Help:Editing first: there's a section on templates there. - Now that I look more closely, your sig does contain "PF24", which is a form of your username. The problem is, the form your signature took made it difficult to tell what your username was at a glance. That's why we have that policy: to encourage users to use simple signatures so that we can easily identify who wrote what on talk pages, while keeping the talk pages relatively clean, uncluttered, and readable. If everyone had animated .gifs and five different colours to their signatures, some of our longer discussion pages would be impossible to read. —Silly Dan (talk) 02:41, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. It's not hard to change your sig across different wikis. You chose to continue to flout the rules that were decided by consensus. The fact that other Wikia sites have idiotic users and ineffective admins does not excuse bad behavior on Wookieepedia. Your sockpuppet is also blocked, by the way, and any future socks will be blocked as well. In addition, future use of socks will cause the block for this username to be extended. You said, and I quote, "DCWIKI says that if you don't unblock him because he is innocent, then he will leave forever. I am following him." I got Wikia staff to do a CheckUser on both of you. They confirmed you have the same ISP and geographic location. If he's not your sockpuppet, then he is acting as your meatpuppet, which is functionally the same thing.
