Welcome
Hepsalum Tash and Hysalrian
These are canonical—please don't erase them from the Dagobah article! Thanks, Cutch 00:20, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- ...as are the Critokians. Cutch 00:21, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- 1) Please sign your comments on talk pages. 2) Please refer to the discussion at the following link (the Holocron Blog) involving Leland Chee's canonicity of these fan-made creations: http://forums.starwars.com/thread.jspa?threadID=152583&start=0690 3) To quote the blog: QUESTION: Star Wars Galaxy Magazine #7 published the winners of the "Design an Alien" contest, where fans were encouraged to submit artwork and backstories of new SW aliens. Are these aliens canon? The Lyco Pibex look espcially cool. ANSWER: Yes, though any text discrepencies with other sources would likely to [be] superceded by the other source. Sorry, man. Tash, Hysalrians, and Critokians are canonical. Cutch 19:46, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- List below the sources that state that Dagobah/Yavin IV have no sentient life, and we'll start a discussion on the Design an Alien talk page. Cutch 17:04, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- BTW, no hard feelings about all this. Just to let you know ;) Cutch 21:55, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
A few things
Don't really know why this bothers you so much, but you really need to leave these things alone:
- Critokians are from Yavin IV. Get over it. Please don't change either article to reflect a view that only you have.
- It is perfectly valid to include fan speculation in the BtS section of the Whee Tillatch page. There is plenty of fan speculation in other sections, as long as the views are shared by multiple numbers of fans (i.e. the fan idea that Jacen Solo may become Darth Krayt is mentioned in both the Krayt & Jacen articles, even though the theory is unlikely).
Please don't push any special agendas here. Your cooperation is appreciated. Thanks, Cutch 18:00, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- Response:
- A view that only I have? I'm sure if you looked beyond that little "design an alien" contest you've got such a hard on for… Let's try to be mature about this, okay? I'm just trying to provide the fairest representation of what is canonical. It's becoming apparent that the issue is not my love for the contest, but your hate for it.
- …you'd see that pretty much the entire body of the expanded universe agrees. Give me some quotes that specifically and irrevocably rule out the presence of sentient life on Yavin IV and we'll put this to a vote in the Senate Hall. To the contest's credit, Leland Chee never seemed to think that the presence of these species as native lifeforms was a big deal.
- As to Whee Tillatch, I deleted the BTS section because he's obviously none of the speculated species, there's really no point in including what some moron thinks he is. Didn't you read what I said about Jacen Solo above? It's an impossibility (as per the Darth Who Contest) that he is Darth Krayt, yet it still gets mentioned. Moreover, his similarity to these species at least has some possibility of being retconned into a subspecies of Togorian, Yarkora, or even a third subspecies of Cathar. I've even taken care to preface these theories with "Although none are likely possibilities…".

- No, it will not come to a vote. A non-mention is not a tacet denial of the presence of a species, I'm sorry. Cutch 22:42, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, whatever. Posting now... Cutch 22:59, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Removing information
I saw your edit to Consular-class space cruiser. Removing information is a good way to get yourself banned. Kuralyov 07:35, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- Enjoy your cooloff. Kuralyov 06:10, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Personal attacks
Regardless of whether there's any legitimacy to your issues with Kuralyov, if I or another admin see you making another personal attack like the one you just did on his talk page, you'll have earned yourself a rather lengthy cooldown ban. Capiche? jSarek 21:55, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Please note Wookieepedia:No personal attacks#A misguided notion: "Kicking them while they are down". Any more messages like the one you left Kuralyov will result in a further and longer block. —Silly Dan (talk) 21:55, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
