Galaxy's Edge additions
Hey there! Thank you so much for expanding articles related to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! As someone working in the land and helping cover those topics here on the wiki, I really appreciate the help. That being said, I want to inform you about some of our practices regarding these articles. First off, we don't include real-world prices in the Behind the scenes sections, as they can change without notice and also vary between different iterations of the land (food prices are different between Disneyland and Walt Disney World, typically).
Secondly, in regards to things like Muffin/Canon, we don't consider the menu descriptions for the meals and beverages to be in-universe. Those are simply legal requirements for a restaurant. The names of the dishes are definitely canon, but the real world ingredients are not. The only exception to this is if items have already been canonized in other material. Muffins have been made in-universe in Star Wars Legends, but they have not in canon, so we can't use the menu to create a canon muffin article. On the flip side, caffeine and soda are canon, so you can see that we include those real-world ingredients in the Coca-Cola article. Hope that clarifies things, and thanks again for you help! - Sorry. I'll remove the food prices then. Nigel Planter (talk) 21:34, June 27, 2019 (UTC)
- Oh, and one more thing: don't worry about adding the long reference note about the verbal backstory elements unless you are using it to source something that isn't printed or depicted otherwise. If you are wanting to source a menu, see the article on the Bloody Rancor. Hope that helps! MasterFred

- Short references then? Sorry again then... But since that's how it was written on the Toydarian Toymaker's page I assumed that it was to be more precise. But if not I'll fix them too.Nigel Planter (talk) 21:41, June 27, 2019 (UTC)
- That's totally understandable. It's all situational and depends on the specific information being sourced. MasterFred
