  • Sure, here is the link: [1]. You have to change the number in the url from 01 to 10. ShaakTi1138 19:18, March 21, 2010 (UTC)
    • Actually, I got that link from the TFN forum. I don't know how these guys found it. ShaakTi1138 19:37, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

Images

Thank you for directing me to the inadequacy of Photobucket. I've fixed the source links for those images. I have always gone by putting the exact URL where the image source needs to go. Is it better to instead put the canonicial in-universe appearence of the image (comic/episode/movie/etc.) for the source? --Mateo22 20pxContact 00:04, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

Re: OLR-4 GAN

Haha no worries man. Also, the "could be" sounded kind of ambiguous, so I just changed it back to "was." Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 15:32, May 11, 2010 (UTC)

Inserting Images

Ok, beyond confused here. How do I add images to the Wiki? Obviously new to this, hence the errors, but these replies aren't helping at all. Have watched the video but it only mentions adding images. My toolbar has a tab for gallery, obviously this is different. Need some assistance, thanks, Jan Lomona --JanLomona 12:58, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

You have a lot more edits than I do, so if you don't mind, I would like to ask you about the Categories for the systems; If a system is part of the Mid Rim or some other Region, but it is only under the systems Category, is it okay to add it to the Mid Rim sub-category or whatever Region? --===DARTHRAGE=== 16:19, May 27, 2010 (UTC)DarthRage

Vector request

File:Wolfpack symbol.jpg|right|thumb|100px Hey there Nayayen. I've got a new SVG request for you, as one of our active SVG people. Can you take this symbol for the Wolfpack and make it into an vector graphic of the symbol? I'm also asking INAN to give it a try as well. Thanks in advance. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 16:31, June 5, 2010 (UTC)

  • That's a doozy of a logo. I have more exams until the 9th and then I'll be away until the 13th but I'll have a crack at it afterwards. If you can find an HD version (unless it already is D=) that would make it easier. NAYAYEN:TALK 17:23, June 5, 2010 (UTC)
    • That's already at 1080p resolution. Not gonna get any higher res than that. :) I've also asked Culator to take a stab at it, since I remembered he's also worked with vector graphics in the past. I appreciate you're willingness to give it a try. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 17:30, June 5, 2010 (UTC)
      • Okay, I had a bit of time this morning but it was very difficult to get it to a state in which it can easily be traced or done by hand (which I eventually went for). After a lot of rotating and mirroring of the trooper's right hand side of the helmet (less distorted by the perspective) and some estimated guessing (is it this side of the greyish blur of a few pixels or that side?) I've managed to get this. The "cheek" bits inside need tweaking (bigger, closer together) but the rest of it should be good. Can you see any obvious flaws in it that need fixing? I'll do them when I finish the cheeks. NAYAYEN:TALK 10:00, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
        • No, that looks great! I can definitely appreciate how difficult this must have been. I'm going to go ahead and upload it, then add it to the article. Very much appreciated. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 12:14, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
          • Thanks, I might tweak it at a later date but, yes, I think I might just be a perfectionist =P NAYAYEN:TALK 12:38, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
            • That looks really awesome! Good job Nayayen & JAMS! But could other wikis juse this grafik also? Compliment, 84.46.94.207 12:48, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

For your great dedication in the Wookieepedian. Keep up the good work, Nayayen!
  • Thanks! It depends, we can use it here under fair use because it is used to illustrate the subject matter for academic purposes. Unless it was an article about wolves and stylized symbols like that then you probably wouldn't be able to. That said, it never actually appears in this form anywhere in the episode, I had to extensively modify the source image to get a flat and accurately proportioned image so it might count as my own work. If someone can confirm that it would count as my own work then I'm happy for you to use it a la public domain and all that. NAYAYEN:TALK 12:56, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

EGTTF

[link redacted] --Imperialles 12:58, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

  • Nayayen, I'll gladly look for you when I get home, but I'm almost positive that there's nothing in there about that duel or that mission. If I recall, the only real mention of the KOTOR comics events was the existence of the Covenant (with an incorrect caption saying that the Taris Watchcircle fought in the Great Sith War), and that Alek was Malak. Also, The EGTTF came out a month before KOTOR #24. But I'll gladly look, and message you again either tonight or tomorrow morning. Cheers. New Project Lead for KotOR

Hi Nayayen. As a member of the KotOR Wookieeproject, I was wondering whether you would support a change in leadership of KotOR from Cylka to Jedi Kasra. Cylka is a great user, but she hasn't been around for quite some time now. I believe new leadership is needed, and Kasra is our most active member. Let me know what you think. Thanks, SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 22:03, July 13, 2010 (UTC)

Just as an update, Kasra has officially accepted a position as Chief Editor of WookieeProject Knights of the Old Republic after Tommy pointed out that Cylka intends to return to editing at some point. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is the truth) 09:09, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

List of resources

Hello. In the recent WookieeProject Knights of the Old Republic meeting, held on July 30th, it was decided that a list of KotOR-related resources each member had access to would be created for use in conjunction with a new requests page. Re:A few things…

Thanks for the link! You know, every time I think about it, I should have bookmarked all of the threads about the KotOR comics… oh, well. I'll get you that entry tomorrow, I know for certain that he does indeed have an entry. And finally, no, I don't think that the stubs should be created for all those battles. I'll add info from the Timeline soon, and I think the intro will need some adjusting. But yeah, the image from the Atlas should definitely be used. Haven't had the car for a few days, but it's back now, so I'll be editing!—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 03:36, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Slyssk

Here ya go, Nayayen. Great to see that your back working on Slyssk. You need any help, let me know.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 17:36, August 4, 2010 (UTC)

Slyssk A timid Trandoshan who worked as a pirate and a starship thief during the years following the Great Sith War. Slyssk was unusual among his people in that he hated to hunt. He went into business procuring starships for individuals willing to pay him to steal them. He was once hired by Marn Hierogryph to steal a ship, and tried to bribe the Snivvian into paying 10 times their agreed-upon price. Unknown to Slyssk, Marn's associate, Zayne Carrick, stepped in to help, using the Force to drop a piece of equipment near Slyssk's location. Hierogryph "rescued" the Trandoshan, who gladly agreed to turn the ship over to Hierogryph and forced the Snivvian to accept his presence aboard the ship in order to pay off his life debt. Hierogryph discovered that Slyssk was an accomplished chef and turned the vessel, the Little Bivoli, into an independent food wagon when they landed on Serroco.

Category: Food

Hi, you reverted my edit of an introductary sentence in this category. What is the reasoning behind it? You should always add edit summaries when you undo non-vandalism edits. "Foodstuffs"? That's a bit of informal writing right there. --TheBearPaw 11:12, August 9, 2010 (UTC)

KOTOR comics and Undercity sewers

Vector images

Hey. I noticed that you have taken the vector conversion upon yourself. Just thought I'd let you know that the official site of Star Wars Battlefront: Mobile Squadrons has many great logos for various units, like the 501st Legion, Death Squadron, Vengeance Battle Group, etc. It would be awesome if you could trace them. I don't have the necessary skills to do so myself. Cheers, QuiGonJinn 20px(Talk) 22:01, August 15, 2010 (UTC)

Search icons

Hey, Nayayen. I recently changed my Wookieepedia skin to Monobook from Monaco (of vice-versa; I forget), which made the search box icons start showing up. I investigated, and I found there used to be an entire process set up to propose and approve or reject search icons. I checked the history of the currently used set, Wookieepedia:Search icons/In use, and I found you were the most recent user to update it. What's the story on this page? Is there still a formal proposal -->accept/reject -->implement process in effect? ~ SavageBob 04:51, September 26, 2010 (UTC)

  • As far as I can remember, I tried it out by adding one (the Rohlan one at the bottom, needs redoing) to the list. Grunny then added it to the Monobook JS file so that it was put in use. As for the old process, it was decided in the January 2009 Mofference that "The interested parties will create new search icons, remove old bad ones, and in general work their will on icons. . . .from a SH page coming soon, probably." A search through the "What links here" on the Search icon pages yields no such SH thread. If you're interested, the relevant discussion in the log goes from 18:23 to 18:28. So, yeah, just make a decent looking icon and add it to the list, asking Grunny to add it to the JS file if need be. That is, unless you want to ask around to see whether anyone is still interested. I for one think it is pretty bad that we don't have any current stuff in there (TCW and TOR jump to mind). Hope that helps, NAYAYEN 13:20, September 26, 2010 (UTC)
    • Yeah, that was my thinking too, that we need to add a few new ones to reflect more recent SW stuff (like CW). I may add a few more from stuff that's come out in the last couple years (the first two were sort of experimental, but I'm happy with the result) and then alert Grunny. Thanks for the explanation! ~ SavageBob 16:32, September 26, 2010 (UTC)

Main Title Image

Hello. JMAS said I should ask you about converting the File:MainTheme UB.jpg image to an svg for better quality. Do you think you could help me out? Master Fredcerique Begun the Clone Wars has † 18:35, September 30, 2010 (UTC)

  • Do you want musical terms? Also, the other sheet music clip (in the infobox) could use it to IMO. It seems a little blurry. Master Fredcerique Begun the Clone Wars has † 21:20, September 30, 2010 (UTC)
    • OK here goes. I'm going to answer your questions in order. The "trio of vertical lines" is actually just a duo. They're just two vertical lines. Not much to it. The things above/below the "long notes" (that is if you're refering to the three notes with a bar above them) are 3's. Just for reference, the symbol after the squiggly thing at the beginning is a number (pound) sign italicized. The thing above the end of the last line is pretty much just like an apostrophe. Also, the two numbers at the beginning are a 4 on top of a 4. Is that everything? Master Fredcerique Begun the Clone Wars has † 17:00, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
      • Haha, yeah. I actually remembered you were from the UK when I posted that, but I figured you would figure it out. Master Fredcerique Begun the Clone Wars has † 19:57, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
        • OK, here goes (forgive me if you already plan on fixing these, I'm just making sure). There should be a 3 under each set of three notes (like the first set that had the box over it). The original was incorrect in that sense. The horizontal lines should ideally be the same thickness. I think that's about it. Thanks for helping! MasterFred (Whatever) † 16:36, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
          • Looks good to me. Thanks for fixing it. I'd say it's safe to use the new image. MasterFred (Whatever) † 17:03, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
            • Is there a way to get a white background instead of a clear one? It makes it look weird in the infobox. MasterFred (Whatever) † 17:17, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
              • Not necessary. I made the BG white in the infobox. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 17:24, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
                • Thanks JMAS. I didn't know you could do that. I guess I still have much to learn. MasterFred (Whatever) † 18:48, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
                  • I'll make any future ones with a white bg, just to be on the safe side. Expect the other one soon. NAYAYEN 19:03, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
                    • Thanks. As far as I can see, there's nothing too technically wrong with it. I think I might use that for the infobox instead of the other one. Thanks for your help!!!! MasterFred20px(Whatever) 23:40, November 6, 2010 (UTC)
