Soulcalibur
Soulcalibur should not be added to articles' appearances sections because this game is not a legitimate canonical source. Please do not add this game to appearances sections, and please remove any you may already have added. Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir 21:48, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- Please don't remove the images again. They serve more than to just provide "ambiance" as you put it. They illustrate how three canon Star Wars Characters appear in an OOU, non-canon video game. Thanks. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 18:09, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- Gameplay images demonstrating the game's feel and visual design, with the said Star Wars characters featured in the shot, is one thing. I wouldn't object to that. A seperate gallery of their character models -- not even during play -- is decorative and proves useless. As one of the Wookieepedians voting on the issue, you should understand all of this fairly well. From my understanding, image galleries that serve no purpose were to be eliminated in the purge, so to speak. When galleries are used for no clear reason (ie, the Soulcalibur IV gallery, or adding a gallery of different lightsabers to the Lightsaber article, despite being already linked to the images' respective pages), they have to go.
- Furthermore, after reading over many of the comments (both "Allow" and "Do not allow"), I see almost as many good points on both sides. However, my personal opinion on the matter is that "sparingly" is too wide a window (how sparingly is "sparingly"?), they only rarely prove useful (it's nice to have cover art of comic books in different languages, but what are they doing to help the article?), and as they aren't supporting any text, they are in violation of the fair use doctrine. The last of the three is reason enough for me not to use them. // ~mikah~ 19:34, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- First, you notice in bold red on my talk page, that if I posted something on your talk page, to reply to it on your talk page, not mine, which I why I'm cutting your post and pasting it here. Gameplay images demonstrating the game's feel and visual design, with the said Star Wars characters featured in the shot, is one thing. Thank you for validating why the images should stay. Those are not just character models, otherwise they would be on a neutral-colored background. They are gameplay images, hence why they stay. :) - JMAS Hey, it's me! 19:43, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Thanks
Thanks. It will be a long time until kotor will be an FA. Right now I'd be lying if said I held hopes for it to be by the end of the year. I do hope that it becomes GA because I've spent a long time adding as many appearances as I possibly can, and its still not finished. All those redlinks will take many play throughs of the game and meticulos research to fix. I'm also waiting for the Bek-Vulkar War articles to be started so two more can be filled. Any help is happily appreciated. NaruHina Talk

Re:
- I honestly do not have the answer to that question. I believe it's due to the use of that chronological system in an IU source, such as HoloNet News, that led to it being ported over to the Wook, but I can't say for certain. Atarumaster88

Skirmish at the Season Opener
Hey, I noticed the work you did on this article and just wanted to say good work! Way to bust those KOtoR redlinks. :) Also, I went through the article and changed it to past tense, because it's an In Universe article, opposed to an Out Of Universe article, like Knights of the Old Republic. One thing I noticed is that at the end of the Prelude section, you end it by saying, Revan then. I just thought I'd let you know, in case there was something more you were going to add there, or if it was just part of a leftover sentence that should be gotten rid of. Anyway, keep up the good work! Aqua Unasi 18:51, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

RE: Satanism
Thanks, that means a lot. It's true not many of us are open about are beleifs. Like you said there are a lot of misconceptions about what Satanism is. I myself dont go around sacrificing babies in the woods at full moon, and blood has never touched my lips, apart from my own from things like cuts. Fear is the real problem, people fear what they dont understand, which promotes them to opress and shun people who practice Satanism, rather than trying to get to know and broaden their own knowledge. Any way your understanding and respect is appreciated, message me if you ever fancy a chat. –K.A.J•T•C•E• 19:52, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
New continuity
I think a new Continuty section would be superfluous as we have Template:1st. Also, we got aroung putting 1st on KOTOR by cheatng and ussing that header. I'd get Carpal Tunnel if I put all those in. NaruHina Talk

Grey ending
As to the gray ending of KOTOR2, it wasn't cut. If the right diolouge is chsen Kreia says something like: "You now have three choices. You can seek out Revan, Take over the acadeny, or go into another self imposed Exile. If she says this the Exile would have 2 coices, her alighnment choice and the self-imposed exile. She can say "I think I'll choose the latter." the ending movie is the same as the lightsided one. JS-- NaruHina Talk

- I try. ;) At any rate, I think one of us might be confused; I remember something about cut content, though I thought it was in reference to Kriea's action of stealing the Ebon Hawk and leaving the Exile on Dantooine, as opposed to the dialogue at the end. Regardless, its fixed so I'm not worrying too much about it. As an ending (and completely off-topic) note, your comment on Drewtown's talk page regarding the past tense/present tense issue was much too modest. You did all the work; I attempted to fix one measly section, and couldn't even do that properly. Excellent job once again on all your hard work. :) // ~mikah~ 19:10, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Sourcing
You said it yourself "For articles with more than one source". Where are the dozens of sources for Kleef and Chop'aa? I kind of fail to see them.
So, you claim you know the rules, but look, you did not see the one above it: Rule nr. 5 - Do not reference articles only appearing in one appearance or source. If an article only has one appearance or mention, all of the information would obviously be from that source, and referencing would therefore be redundant." Get it?--Seth danny 00:48, 18 September 2008
- I never once claimed to know anything or nothing at all. But as I said on your talk page, I missed that footnote. I'm sorry. // ~mikah~ 00:54, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

- I'm glad you can be so forgiving. I realized long ago I can be difficult at times. ;) But you know what? This is what the community aspect of Wookieepedia should be about anyway: helping one another. One makes a genuine mistake, another gladly comes along to fix it, and then one thing leads to another and we have world peace. (No? Well, I can dream.) // ~mikah~ 01:03, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Galen's outfits
Well, those 2 robes are exclusively on the next-gen consoles. The medical robes are those simple white garnments shown in the final trailer, when he takes Juno out of stasis. The Jedi Adventurer Robes and the Industrial Explorer Outfit are also exclusively on PS3 and X-BOX. I found them all in a gameplay movie. Try searching for "How to get all the Costumes" on youtube. I think you'll like it. Oh, and thanks for the GRANDMOFF. I found all the costumes myself, but couldn't find Vader's. --Seth danny 19:05, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Kleef, Chop'aa past
Well, yet again, the game is the source, so the sourcing is taken out of the equation. :) The new info comes out of their Databank pages. I haven't played the Wii version, only the PS2 and PSP ones, but they do have a Databank section on the Rogue Shadow, provided by Juno Eclipse, right under the cheat section. I will gladly edit some more pages tomorrow, because it's kind of late in the night in my country and I'm pretty tired. I've also added some info on Mallie Marek, if you're interested. Good night.----Seth Danny 23:38, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Calm down, dude. We both know I'm not causing any real harm. But if it really offends you so much, as you apparently are, I won't talk about the topic of the article in the userpage. Although, I don't exactly understand why you can't talk about, for example, Luke Skywalker, in the Luke Skywalker talk page, if it doesn't have something to do with the main picture, title of the article, or other almost-irrelevant things, but to keep your shirt on, and for the sake of your blood pressure, I'll stop my, uh, vandilizing. Re:Quote Removal
Removing unsourced quotes that were inserted by someone who doesn't understand the sourcing policy or the Quote templates is fine. It's in the same vein as removing unsourced information that goes against the MOS. If you're asking why I just removed it rather than reformatting or trying to source it, it has more to do with those quotes having very little to do with their respective sections. The Goto quote talks about the Republic after the Jedi Civil War, nowhere near the Mandalorian Wars. The Revan quote over the Revanchists has little to do with the organization and more to do with just Revan himself. Cull Tremayne 00:22, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

- I saw that, but the fact that the page was reverted 2 or 3 times before with edit summaries pointing towards WP:NOT is rather telling. It's a case of both WP:3RR and WP:NOT violation. Project TFU
Hey Mikah! I just recently joined WP:TFU and I had some questions.
- Why don't you include that articles should be made comprehensive if they don't have enough in them to make them a good article?
- Why don't you put where the articles that need to be created come from so people can find them quickly. I could start righting them, but I don't know where to look.
- Third, and probably lastly :P, does the games or book mention Darth Phobos or anything about her. I mean I know the PSP version does. But, since the novels are considered canon first and the XBOX-360 and PS3 version of the games second, the PSP doesn't really count. So after all that heres my question, should the things mentioned in the non-canon versions of the game—Wii,PSP,DS—still have articles written about them and just have non-canon templates placed at the top of the article?
Thanks for your time. I hope I can be of help with this project. (if you could reply on my talk page I'd appreciate it.) Thanks ner vod Cal Jedi (Personal Comm Channel) 01:41, June 16, 2011 (UTC)
Star Wars: Obi-Wan easter egg
Hi there! I saw on the discussion page for Star Wars: Obi-Wan that you set up the "appearances" list a few years back. I included Dax Gazaway in there as non-canonical when I found an easter egg that mentioned him.
Unfortunately, I'm limited to watching YouTube videos of the first level, and I can't read the rest of the easter egg—it's at the very beginning, when you see the giant advertisement with Jabba's dancer. All I could make out was the Aurebesh that says, "Oola" and "Appearing nightly at Dax Gazaway's." There's more Aurebesh above that, but it's totally unreadable on every video on the 'net. I'd buy the game but apparently they haven't patched it for 360, and I don't have an old Xbox. I was wondering if you still have access to the game? The missing Aurebesh is probably useless, but since this is technically Dax's first mention (he was created for Racer Revenge, released months later) I was hoping to get the whole thing deciphered. It's an old game so no worries if you've long since retired it... or that brick of a console! Winchester 327 05:17, September 17, 2011 (UTC)
