Copy-edit
Could you give Na'daz a copy-edit and a word count ? Clone Commander Lee Talk 17:33, May 17, 2010 (UTC)
- Done. 292 words. Two things: Please watch where you link, as there were numerous links to redirects. Second, be careful of POV. I see several instances where you call someone "great" or "the greatest"; this is POV and possibly speculation unless it is explicitly stated in the source. Let me know if you have any questions. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 17:57, May 17, 2010 (UTC)
- Ah thank you for the edit and the info. Clone Commander Lee Talk 18:01, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

Hey MJ,
I appreciate your tip, but it unfortunately didn't work for me. Thanks anyway.—Tommy 9281 22:37, May 17, 2010 (UTC)
- Bah, I thought I'd seen it in use here before and that it was a MediaWiki magic word, but it turns out that it's a template and that it was Wikipedia that I saw it on. Sorry. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 22:53, May 17, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks
Hey MJ. I just wanted to let you know that I shamefully stole your personal js and css, as they are both a great help when editing. Thanks for them. :) -- 1358 (Talk) 16:45, May 18, 2010 (UTC)
- No problem. The CSS line is indeed mine, but the JS that you copied was originally taken from Wikipedia. I can't find the exact source of the purge tab now, but the edit intro tab can be found here (though I did make a slight modification to that code). Be aware that on the other wiki, you'll need to edit the purge JS the reflect the URL of that site, otherwise it'll try to purge that page here on the English SW wiki. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 18:47, May 18, 2010 (UTC)

Rebel Force: Trapped
Hello Jonathan. I was just wondering if you could help me with whatever information there is about Carlist Rieekan in Rebel Force: Trapped. I'm trying to FA him, and the source is currently unavailable to me. Any help would be much appreciated, although I understand if you can't help for whatever reason. Cheers, Thefourdotelipsis 14:33, May 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Here goes: The Rebels' prisoner, Div, is kidnapped from his prison cell on Yavin 4, and when Luke boards the kidnappers' ship to rescue him, he successfully disables the kidnappers with Div's help, but is unable to stop one from activating the hyperdrive at the last moment, and the ship vanishes into hyperspace. Back on Yavin 4, Leia believes Luke has been kidnapped also, and reports the incident to General Rieekan, insisting that they have to go after him. Rieekan replies that no one knows Luke's whereabouts, and that "I can't authorize a fool's mission." Leia asks if the General is calling her a fool, Han interrupts, Leia snaps at Han, and then the General answers the question with "no". Shortly afterward, Luke and Div return to Yavin, accompanied by ex-Jedi Ferus Olin, who rescued them.
- Later, Ferus reports to Rebel leaders Rieekan, General Dodonna, Wedge Antilles, and Leia that he has been following the actions of Vader. In doing so, he has learned, among other things, that the assassin X-7, who has tried to kill Luke on multiple occasions, is now looking for clues to his former identity. (When X-7 entered the training program, all memories to his previous identity were erased from his mind and his facial features were reconstructed to sever all ties to his previous life.) Ferus proposes that they slice computers to give the assassin the "clues" that he is looking for and turn X-7 to their side, to which Rieekan, speaking for the only time in the meeting, responds that the Rebels probably don't have the resources for the slicing operation. Ferus counters by revealing that he is "one of the best slicers in the galaxy" (narration quote) and can do the job himself. Ferus concludes the meeting by revealing the identity that he will plant "clues" to—that of one of his and Div's late friends, Trever Flume.
- The final mention of the general in the book is unclear. During a mission to Belazura to destroy an Imperial garrison with X-7, who has accepted his "identity" as Trever, there is the following exchange (note that X-7 is not in the room):
- Luke: "If X-7 compromised us with the Imperials —"
- Div: "We are not calling it off. After everything we've done? General Rieekan gave me his word."
- ―Luke and Div[src]
- That's wonderful, thank you. A question, though: How does Hostage wind up being resolved? I only ask because in the current article, my section for it ends rather abruptly, and I need a way to wrap it up concisely. Also, I was just wondering how the mission to Belazura is resolved. Thefourdotelipsis 04:02, May 22, 2010 (UTC)
- On Belazura, the Rebels successfully destroy the garrison, and X-7 is killed by Ferus when he attempts yet again to kill Luke. As for Hostage, I'll need to find time to re-read the book, since I haven't read it in almost a year; I'll probably do so tomorrow and let you know then. —Master Jonathan 20px (Jedi Council Chambers) 19:35, May 22, 2010 (UTC)
- Just one more thing... is "Div" his nickname, or an assumed identity? Thefourdotelipsis 06:43, May 27, 2010 (UTC)
- He was formerly known as Lune Divinian, but by this time he has taken to calling himself simply "Div", to the point of no longer identifying with his former name and almost getting mad when Ferus calls him "Lune". Also, a correction to your article: X-7, though it does sound like a droid name, is actually a living being, specifically a male Human. As for Hostage, I apologize for not getting back to you yet on that, but I've been busy with a combination of RL and the whole FAN/GAN subpage deal. I'm busy tonight, but I'll make a point of reading it tomorrow. —Master Jonathan 20px (Jedi Council Chambers) 20:01, May 27, 2010 (UTC)
- Hostage: Rieekan is correct in warning Leia not to trust Lyonn; he has Leia kidnapped with the intent of turning her over to the Empire, but she is rescued by Han, Chewie, Luke, Ferus (who meets the group for the first time on Delaya, but has known Leia most of her life, having been charged with protecting her by Obi-Wan 18 years earlier), and X-7, who has at this time infiltrated the Rebel Alliance and is known to the Rebels as Tobin Elad. However, X-7, whose goal at this time is to learn the identity of the pilot who destroyed the Death Star, tricks Leia into revealing that the pilot in question was Luke. Let me know if you need more detail. —Master Jonathan 20px (Jedi Council Chambers) 20:00, May 28, 2010 (UTC)
- Into Columbo mode once more: Just one more thing. ;) In what capacity does "Tobin Elad" serve the Alliance? Thefourdotelipsis 23:58, May 28, 2010 (UTC)
- Only as a new recruit, as he had just recently infiltrated the Rebels in the first book, Target, but he had already gained the trust of Leia by the time of Hostage, enough so that he was apparently asked to accompany her on the mission to Delaya (though the book only shows him on the mission; no indication is given as to how or why he was asked to go). Also, one more factual correction: Ferus was never a Knight; he resigned from the Order just before the Clone Wars while he was still a Padawan. —Master Jonathan 20px (Jedi Council Chambers) 06:12, May 29, 2010 (UTC)

Procedure CT
Hey, Master Jon. Just letting you know that we've tweaked the wording of the CT on procedure so that a reply is not required. The new wording features this clause removed from option one: "All users who have cast votes prior to the desired change to be included are directly contacted and have expressed either their approval or rejection of said change by commenting under their vote, or the alteration to the vote is rendered invalid." Thanks. — Fiolli {Alpheridies University ComNet} 19:54, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Could you give Komm Karsh a copy-edit, a word count and a review please ? Thank you very much in advance. Clone Commander Lee Talk 19:10, May 26, 2010 (UTC)
Done. Objections:
"By the time Supreme Overlord Shimrra Jamaane the Yuuzhan Vong invaded the galaxy": Missing word?"Karsh was the commander of the Yuuzhan Vong's sole strategic reserve." I'd prefer you rephrase the last three words here since they're currently taken verbatim from the first bio quote."who presided over the strategic reserve for the Yuuzhan Vong fleet": Again, please reword "strategic reserve".
Currently 772 words. Let me know if you have any questions. —Master Jonathan 20px (Jedi Council Chambers) 21:20, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

First off, the intro and bio are almost word-for-word identical. Please rewrite one of them, after which I will take another look at it.—Master Jonathan 20px (Jedi Council Chambers) 20:02, June 8, 2010 (UTC)- I think it's good, the problem is the basic info in the intro is the same info in the bio.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 21:52, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Regardless, you shouldn't have entire phrases or sentences word-for-word identical. Each place you have exact duplication, pick one instance and reword it. I understand that the intro and bio convey the same information, but they can say what they need to say in different ways. If you were to take this the GAN as it sits right now, you would almost certainly get the same objection from the ACs, so better to fix it now than waste time on GAN later. —Master Jonathan 20px (Jedi Council Chambers) 21:58, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- I think it's better than when I first edited it, please try it.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 22:07, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Much better, and after a second look at the article, I have no further objections. 314 words, so long enough for GAN. Let me know if you have any questions. —Master Jonathan 20px (Jedi Council Chambers) 22:29, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for your help, man. I'll nom it as soon as one of the current noms are complete.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 00:01, June 9, 2010 (UTC)

OOM commanders changed back
Hello once again, Master Jonathan. As you may recall, we had agreed on renaming all unnamed OOM commander articles to have the "Unidentified" prefix in their name as per the rules of characters with no official designation; however, Kreivi Wolter saw fit to undo all of this without a fitting justification, even after all the time I spent in trying to get it done. I apologize for not being able to intervene and reiterate our compromise, as I had been blocked until some time yesterday because of a mishap with an uploaded file. I really need to read the rule tabs more often. :P Now what? Do I just leave it or is it imperative that the names are fixed? --Mateo22 20pxContact 20:55, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- I've explained my reasoning to Kreivi on his talk page under your message, and I would recommend waiting for a reply before re-reverting since it's not critcal. The best-case scenario obviously would be for the three of us to come to an agreement and execute it. However, if that can't be done, it would probably be a good idea to either get an administrator to step in and settle the dispute or, failing that, take the issue to the community at large for discussion in order to avoid a reverting war, which is never good and is itself in violation of policy. —Master Jonathan 20px (Jedi Council Chambers) 21:33, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- OK, since Kreivi responded that he doesn't care anymore and won't revert, you should feel free to move them back. I may do some myself later if I get bored. —Master Jonathan 20px (Jedi Council Chambers) 22:01, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
Bounty Hunters' Guild Handbook
Hi! Apparently you have Star Wars Insider 99 and I would like to know what possibly useful for Vossk article would be in Bounty Hunters' Guild Handbook atleast. All help/information is appreciated (and you can msg me in IRC though I prolly sleep when you're around). --Tm T 21:03, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Hey. I missed you on IRC. The only thing in the Insider 99 article about Vossk is the fact that he was a leader of the Bounty Hunters' Guild during the Old Republic era. There's nothing else. Let me know if you have any other questions. —Master Jonathan 20px (Jedi Council Chambers) 21:52, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, was sleeping at that time, as I predicted but it's ok. Thanks again, big help. (: --Tm T 17:42, June 10, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Taurill sentence
Your ref is correct. You might consider adding another sentence specifying that the Taurill had been erroneously classified as semi-sentient. If you decide to do so, you can use The Essential Guide to Alien Species (Under Taurill); Darksaber (chapter 6) or Star Wars Encyclopedia (under Taurill). All those source mention that the Taurills are officially classified as semi. --Skippy Farlstendoiro 04:21, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
