Tiny articles

I'm glad to see another user that finds the number of tiny articles a bit silly. I want us to have as much information as we can, but that doesn't always require us to feature 100 2-sentence articles when they could easily be merged into larger, more comprehensive articles. • These small articles are, in my opinion, wishful thinking. We WANT there to be a ton of information on the exact layout of the Republic military forces, we WANT a detailed list of duties and rituals conducted by the shamans of the Ewoks, we WANT to know the name and life history of every single "Darth" ever made. We hope that by acknowledging them seperately, we can force some sort of canon information to materialize, thereby validating our hopes and our obsessions. Sadly, Star Wars is a fictional universe with a rigid canon system, and therefore, it is impossible to deliver the same depth of detail and information that one would find in a Wiki about real events. If we see a Wookie Captain, and a Wookie Colonel, it stands to reason there's a Wookie Lieutenant, right? Yes. But unfortunately, that doesn't make it "canon", and therefore, has no place here. Which makes everything seem incomplete. So people make these tiny articles, in the hopes of one day having enough info to actually fill them. Oh man, I should totally write a rant about that.
