Palpatine/Sidious

Please stop swapping these names around for no apparent reason. It's getting a bit disruptive now. "Emperor Palpatine" is a perfectly valid term for the character during the Imperial Era, and that is the preferred term when referring to him in the context of the Empire.     • It really depends on the context, and sometimes they're interchangeable, so the way I see it, the editors who have written the text originally would have a better idea of which one to keep using. Keep in mind we want to make things clear to readers, so it's good to be consistent within sentences, throughout individual articles, and between multiple articles as well. Frankly, I don't think it's really productive to go around the wiki switching between the different names. OOM 224 20:45, 18 June 2022 (UTC)

Ok, yeah like for instance on the Royal Guards page, since they knew that Palpatine was Darth Sidious can I change it all to Sidious

Frustratingly, you have yet to understand how alternate names work and yet persistently swap them around throughout the wiki; most instances of Palpatine's/Sidious' names are fine across all articles, so I strongly advice that you refrain from making these edits in the future.
