2 questions
1. Why did you take away the pics from Anakin?
2. On R2-D2, do you want me to replace the film names with thier respective years? Would that be ok? :-?
Anakin Thomas 15:34, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- Because 1) Disambig pages don't need images - we know who the Anakins are, so we don't need to illustrate it. Besides, the page links directly to each article; and 2) I really don't think the list is needed at all. It's trivia, which we tend to avoid here. The info is already in the article proper, and doesn't need repeating - Kwenn 15:36, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- Ya your right Anakin Thomas 15:38, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
Paragraphs
Paragraphs only need two carriage returns in between them—you keep adding a third carriage return. This results in far too much space between paragraphs. Please discontinue this practice. Thanks. -- Aidje 21:59, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- I've noticed that you're not entering extra carriage returns anymore. Thank you. And good work, too. -- Aidje 20:19, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Supershadow
Thanks for all your information a while a go on Supershadow. I was a fool to ever have trusted him, and now when I go back to the site I can see what a fake he actually is. Lucas should Sue him! --Mantus 17:27, 21 May 2005 (UTC)
Clone Trooper List
- I just had to say that I am astounded at all the new stuff you added to the List of clone troopers. Props to you. -- Riffsyphon1024 18:51, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks. I frequent the 'Alpha, ARC Troopers and the Commandos' thread over on TF.N, and with all the clone experts on there, you soon build up quite a list. Kwenn 14:58, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Timelines
- Hmm, thanks for correcting me on that. I wasn't sure if I saw the Dowager Queen crash earlier or not, or I just got lost in the timeline. You seem to have a handle on things, and I appreciate you tweaking the year articles to ensure things are correct, and adding additional little events so we make more articles. :D -- Riffsyphon1024 20:04, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- No problem. I'm basically going through the TimeTales timeline, picking out notable events, battles, births and deaths as I go. It's a great resource, since it not only gives all known dates, but also includes detailed summaries of referanced material, as well as a few well-informed conjectures on speculated events - Kwenn
Minor edits
A thing to keep in mind is to not classify edits where you add information to an article as minor. It's a common mistake, though (had problems with that one myself). --Imp 21:48, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Aha, OK. I assumed that adding slight or minor information (along with formatting edits, which I assume are minor) was classified as a minor edit. Thanks for the correction - Kwenn
- No problem, although you're doing it again! :P --Imp 15:39, 15 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Battles of the Mandalorian Wars
Hey, I was wondering where you got the information about those battles? --Imp 12:56, 19 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- I got my info from Timetales, but I all of these battles are referenced in the KotOR games - Kwenn
- Great, this solves a huge mystery. Thanks. --Imp 19:52, 2 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Preview images?
Hey, I saw your clone commander article and I was wondering where you got that preview-image from? VT-16 20:00, 15 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- You mean the Commander Keller image? It was a preview of Republic #79 posted at this thread over at TheForce.Net - Kwenn
- Thanks for the pic! Incidently, I was wondering where you found the info on the 'Aerial Initiative Armored Transport', all those months ago. I remember finding a page paraphrasing an official source but I couldn't find it again. You see, I'm working on two AIAT/i articles and I need more sources to back up the theory that there were two types of gunship sharing the same acronym (one from the Old Republic era and one from the Imperial/New Republic era). VT-16 15:50, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- The AIAT/i was created for the Mandalorian article in Insider 80. Since I got the info second-hand (as a UK resident, I have to wait a couple of months for Insider articles to reach the UK mag) I don't know the details, sorry - Kwenn
Clone trooper Fox
Could you have mistaken Fox for Clone Commander Appo? Check both articles and the talk page on Fox. -- Riffsyphon1024 20:46, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- I was referring to the image posted on the Appo talk page. It's Fox, not Appo - Kwenn
- I see now. What a mistake to make. -- Riffsyphon1024 20:28, 2 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- No problemo - Kwenn

Fanon names|erroneous
Why on the KOTOR ships and vehicles do you keep calling fanon names "erroneous"? How can they be erroneous when there are no canon names they contradict. A more correct adjective would be "speculative." Just wondering.JustinGann 08:46, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- OK, sorry. Speculative is better. Semantics aren't my strong point - Kwenn
- Maybe there is a better way to handle them. The line between "fan speculation" and "fanon" is thin. --SparqMan 00:27, 25 Dec 2005 (UTC)
TK-5282
Hi, I discovered that you contributed the name of a Stormtrooper TK-8252. I already have one with TK-5282. I suspect we both wrote about the one and same person, only that one of us made some typo on the series of numbers. Can you cite your sources and justify the name? MoffRebus 00:20, 25 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- I got the designation from the CUSWE's latest update - Kwenn
- Then I guess he's speaking about the same person, while it was I who made the typo. I am going to merge them. Thanks for the cooperation :)))) MoffRebus 23:20, 25 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Ani's saber
Hi Kwenn, I've saw you have uploaded a pic of Anakins lightsaber during RotS. I've found another image from the same lightsaber (File:lightsaber_anakin_rots.jpg). Do I have your permission to replace your pic in the Gallery of lightsaber hilts-page and tag you pic with the {ifd}-template? ----Inmobilus 21:42, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- If you like. Yours does look a little better than the boring old horizontal view I had - Kwenn 22:20, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Ok :) ----Inmobilus 14:17, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)
MedStar moves
Your MedStar moves created a bunch of double redirects. Please fix those when you have a chance. --SparqMan 22:28, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- D'oh. Sorry about that. I just changed them - Kwenn 22:56, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
Lannik Chosen One
Could you expand on the Chosen One (Lannik) article if you get a chance? It's on VFD, because a vandal followed a redlink and made up some nonsense. Since Lannik links to it, I replaced it with some slightly more creditable nonsense, but I'd like more information. Thanks, — Silly Dan 23:14, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

Sev'rance Tann
I don't know why you edited out the possibility of a connection with Jorj Car'das. And as for her CiC status, see the Grievous talk page.
- Because it's just that: a possibility, not truth and it can't be backed up with any evidence at all. And I suggest you check my message on the Grievous talk page - Kwenn 20:57, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
R5-H6
Hey about that R5-H6 article I found pretty much the same info on this site: [[1]]. Don't know if that makes a difference, but thought I'd let you know, just so we're being entirely fair to the author. Thanks. HavetStorm 17:37, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
- Red6 is also a common breeding ground of fanon. Most of those (canon) droids on that site come from the Customizable Card Game - and since TF.N's encyclopedia has entries from all CCG cards, and R5-H6 isn't listed on TF.N, I'd say this unit is fanon - Kwenn 17:54, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, just thought it best to check. Thanks HavetStorm 18:36, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

- To Adamwan, you listen. She appears on the Council later in the movie. Moreover, she apparently survives Order 66 (at least for now) since her second death (to be stabbed in the back by Anakin in the Temple) didn't materialize either, and the whole thing's been left fairly ambiguous - Kwenn 09:07, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
Problem with date of Chu'unthor crash
- Thanks for noticing the problem with this date. I've left the message on the discussion pages of all 3 dates in question, and on the discussion pages of a few users. Maybe this can straightened out.
- I too have noticed a lot of contradictions on Wikipedia, especially since I've been doing a lot of work on the Timeline of galactic history. The date in question about this crash is a good example as to why I think the timeline should be as thorough as possible. It gives us the opportunity to see these contradictions of information on Wookiepedia and thus gives us an opportunity to resolve these contradictions. Jaywin 16:59, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- My info—and that of the Chu'unthor article itself—appears to be out of date: the New Essential Chronology lists it as 340 BBY, which, according to the Timetales timeline, is also reflected in Power of the Jedi. As the most recent sources, these should be taken as canon. I believe the older sources were Courtship of Princess Leia, Darksabre and the Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels - Kwenn 17:43, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

Sw-4
I'm just alerting you that the Sw-4 template for encyclopedic knowledge of SW is going to be deleted in favor of Sw-3, the advanced template, since 95 percent of those who put it as theirs are obviously not that smart. Additionally you and Nebulax were the only two who were intelligent enough, but Neb agreed to be bumped down to the new maximum of advanced. I figure we should leave Sw-4 for people like Abel Pena, Leland Chee, and George Lucas. -- Riffsyphon1024 03:44, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
Our little new Canon type debate
Reading your profile I find another cool occurrence of in-universe stuff corresponding with out-of-universe stuff. In this case, your Light Side affiliation, which corresponds to your tendency to forgive people who have slighted you; and your republic affiliation, which corresponds to your preference to fix things afterwards rather than preventing them in the first place, like canon inconsitencies. This is further emphasised by your extravagant history of editing. You like fixing stuff that have gone wrong, don't you? -DarthMRN
- Your point being? - Kwenn 20:07, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- ghkgkjJust an observation of the kind I find amusing. The conclusion to our discussion was that you disagreed because you basically trust the right people to fix inconsistencies eventually, so you don't mind them occurring, and then I find you to be one of the major editors around here. Coincidence? I think not. And you are of Jedi stock to begin with, as well. This is to a great degree their approach as well, no?
You don't see anything amusing in that?
- Not really, since I'm able to separate reality from fiction and, you know, not get overly involved in what is essentially a fictional universe within which any rules regarding levels of officiality are all false anyway, thus making any such argument based around them totally academic - Kwenn 21:04, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- You'll have to pardon me for any reluctance to believe that someone with your level of knowledge does not have a near religious relationship to Star Wars. Or that such could ever be born from the academic interest you give the impression of having.
- I am obviously invested deeply in Star Wars, but like I said, I can separate it from real life. And my use of "academic" was in relation to the argument being theoretical or speculative without a practical purpose or intention - Kwenn 21:22, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- Pardon me, but this is getting hilarous. Yet another Jedi trait! All business, no fun. And judging from the above entries, the only acceptable business is related to editing what is wrong with Wookieepedia. Our Galaxy, if you catch my drift.
- Hilarious - Kwenn 21:29, 7 July 2006 (UTC)You are right, the previous entry was hilarious. Now it's getting hilarous. BTW, care to share with a noob how to make those dots appear in front of a sentence. It doesn't work here like it does on the talk pages, so I'm a little lost here.

Delete this whole thing if you like. Its not business-related, nor does it contain praise from other memebers, so it doesn't belong on your tidy profile. Now, let's see if I can make that signature appear...(DarthMRN 21:39, 7 July 2006 (UTC))
Hey, Kwenn. It's me again. I'm in need of a Jedi librarian like yourself.
Sorry ot bother you, but you're the only guru I know, and since you are the Man when it comes to editing, I thought I might try to enlist your help with this article.[2] Go to the talk page and see my arguments. Sub Pages
How do you make a sub page? JainaSolo32 17:57, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- Just go to your user page, and in the address bar, type a "/" after the page address, then type the name you want to call the subpage. It will then take you to the "This page does not exist" page, where you can create the subpage. So, for example, it would be http://starwars.wikia/com/wiki/User:JainaSolo32/Subpage" - Kwenn 18:02, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you so much. JainaSolo32 23:31, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

About my image
File:21_image.jpg|thumb
Why'd you change it? First off, bigger it makes it look less smooth and it was a lot clearer in it's previous version, and second, it had a gold shadow which made it look cool! Can you please change it back? Thanks.
--Maaul--(Send Message|Enlist) 19:20, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, no, the original wasn't clearer; it was pixellated. Also, we try to avoid shadows and borders on images, since they get their own border as thumbnails on articles. My version, from the episode itself, not from the OS preview image, looks better - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 20:59, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
LOL. OK, rather than edit it again, I'll just argue this here. File:Westar34-CVD.jpg may have also been in the AOTC Visual Dictionary. But that specific image was scanned, by me, from The Complete Visual Dictionary. So, to my thinking, the actual source the image was scanned from should be in the image infobox. - JMAS 22:29, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- True, but in the case of reprints such as the CVD, we're not always going to know where the image is from. Thus, I'd rather use the original source, just as I'd rather use the original source in Sources sections on articles. Perhaps both sources could be added in that case? - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 22:31, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Story arc vs. issues issue
Though I know you're not a fan, it is our policy (as per the Layout guide) that we list comic story arcs, not issues, in Appearances sections. I don't want to get into an edit war, so I'll only revert Marasiah Fel this once, but I'm simply following policy. However, I would be happy to bring up a consensus track page for this topic (which I've already started writing) to get some more input. Fair enough? -- Ozzel 23:38, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- I would like that. I don't agree with the current policy, though I didn't realize it actually was a policy. I've tried to bring the topic up before, and it basically got ignored - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 08:20, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Looks like you're winning Kwenn. :) -- Riffsyphon1024 01:12, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
Separate Geocities Site
I just got a look at your geocities site and am enthralled at the level of detail you break down even the briefest of scenes. This could become quite useful in filling in all the gaps in the movies and us to your site. -- Riffsyphon1024 01:12, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, yes, that. I'd almost forgotten about it, actually, though I wouldn't mind restarting it. Would I be able to use a subpage or two to shift the info over here? I'd like to get back into it - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 17:53, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- Well it serves a similar purpose to our project so I don't think its considered "original research" if it's using the same data we sort through, but with additional notes for each scene. You can open a subpage or two no problem. -- Riffsyphon1024 08:58, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I've found the ideal place; it also allows me to upload images for use specifically with those pages, rather than having them clogging up the Wookiee :D - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 10:56, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for re-aligning that picture. Do you think that the article is too long or do you think I need to make any mroe changes to it? Kwenn, your website Star Wars: Scene by Scene is awesome!! I am one of those sort of nerdy people that would drink all that up and still want more. So if you ever need any help, I would like to try. I have a good knowledge of HTML and have also made hundreds of pictures for people's websites. Mostly for Internet gaming sites, but I have helped create quite a few websites too. So if you ever need any help, please let me know! You can reach me at my talk page or you can mail me at rebelgirl@myself.com. I have a few accounts laying around that have around 80MB of extra room if you run out on Geocities. Please consider my offer! Rihanna Jor'dani 19:15, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Yoda did have an orange lightsaber
- On the page "List of lightsaber wielders by lightsaber colors" you removed the part that said Yoda had an orange lightsaber when he was a Padawan. He did have one. I direct you to Pic, read paragraph 2 of this section. It says that Pic received an orange lightsaber that was once Yodas. Roron Corobb

Why reverting "politicians" to "polititions" ?
Is "polititions" a real english word ? I doubt it. Or it is some "local slang" used for style ? In this case, IMHO, as the english Wookieepedia is used as reference even for non-english people (the other wookieepedia are less complete), this kind of words should be avoided, as they only obscure the meaning of the phrase.

Ummm...
Hello. Yeah, um, sorry to post this here, because I know we're not supposed to, but... in Qui-Gon Jinn's article, it says that Qui-Gon and Xanatos were Master and Apprentice for 12 years. In what canon source does it say that it was for twelve years? This question has been posted a few times on the Qui-Gon Jinn talk page, and it's never been answered, so I thought I'd come ask you if you knew anything about it. Again, sorry for posting this here, but... --Crazy Jedi Girl 14:40, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Galaxy
What do you mean "in the star wars galaxy"? I ment that it is immoral in OUR galaxy. Also what is GFFA?
Thanks,
Grand Admiral Nick Vos [Holonet]
- I was trying to keep it in the realms of fiction - saying something like that might incite a debate that would have nothing to do with Star Wars. It's generally accepted within Star Wars that characters in love will naturally get married. Also, GFFA is the acronym of "Galaxy Far, Far Away" - essentially, the Galaxy - although it also stands for Galactic Federation of Free Alliances - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 23:28, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Are you deliberately misunderstanding? You go and do your homework (check out how KotOR and Jedi Knight have messed with the rest of continuity, giving mr. Chee a bit of extra work to do, and myself a headache), and maybe you will see that this most certainly is not a matter of a few fans not liking a some games.

After having learned that you are not only a SW guru, but also the single most knowledgable user of this site, and likely among the most knowledgable fans in the world, I can't quite get over the irony that virtually my first action on this site was to tell you to go and do your homework. Hey, thanks for the tip on the erroneous Rhinnal numbers. I checked that IP and I'm seeing a few other suspiciously well-developed planet infoboxes. Particularly telling is the talk page for Avishan. Hello
Hey, I recently saw a post of yours on Qui-Gon's talk page: ... There was a great article somewhere on jinns that fit perfectly with what we know of Qui-Gon's role post-TPM, but I can't seem to find it now
Well, I saw that and remembered an article I had read, and thought it might be the one, so I went and found it. Click [|here].
Hope it turns out to be the right one! --Crazy Jedi Girl 13:34, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
Question???
Hi... I was browsing around Wookieepedia, doing nothing in particular, when I discovered a most shocking thing. On 64 BBY, we were told that Qui-Gon Jinn and Tahl were both Knighted that year, and that Qui-Gon took his first Padawan the same year. Naturally I wondered why someone thought that Qui-Gon was Knighted as late as 28, and why someone thought that he took his Padawan the same year when his page says that after being Knighted he waited for years. So I checked the page history, and I found out that you had put that there in June 2005!
Knowing you are very knowledgeable about Star Wars, I didn't want to just delete it until I found out why you had put that there, because I thought you might have a source for it or something. So here I am.
I'm not sure if you remember doing that at all, as it was about two years ago, but if you remember where in space you got that from, could you please tell me, or put it on the page yourself? Thank you! :-) --Crazy Jedi Girl 13:15, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- Judging from your recent contributions, you're not getting on here very often, but... the next time you do... could you please reply to this?!? :) --Crazy Jedi Girl 13:36, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late reply. As to your question, I have no idea. If a source can't be found for it, it should be removed; I may have added it in error - Captain Kwenn – Talk 17:36, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- That's fine, I'm glad you replied at all! :) I'll just delete it then. Thanks! --Crazy Jedi Girl 16:38, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- You might want to try archiving this page also Kwenn. Been since, well never. ;) -- Riffsyphon1024 16:49, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Colton Antilles
I see you are the first who wrote the Raymus Antilles article, and firstly said that he was Colton's father. I am rewriting the BtS section of his article and I want to know if you had a source that (obolete) Colton character was Raymus' son or just was your personal impression. MoffRebus 07:33, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- Not sure. That was probably when there was much confusion about the various Antilles and Coltons around RotS release, so it likely has no source. However, I believe the incident with Nichol's scars (unsourced in the BtS section) was reported by Ain't It Cool, and should still be in their archives - Captain Kwenn – Talk 14:44, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
Images not loading
Just wanted to let you know, if you upload an image and it doesn't show up on the Image preview page, you probably don't need to reupload it. It did upload, but for some reason, images don't display, or thumbs won't display. The best way to check is to go check the New images page to see if it showed up there. Echo Base cutaway pic
I love the cutaway Echo Base image you've uploaded, but the details of the picture are so small, it does little real good if you are unable to view the picture at a higher resolution. It would be good if you could try and upload it larger. Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:36, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Uploading images
There's no need to upload every image from a particular source, especially when, as in many of the cases where you're uploading, there's no need or room in the article to put yet another image. While this forum topic is on the Essential Guide to the Force, the message in it applies to all sources.
In brief, an image should only be upload when it is needed, not uploaded just to have the image and then some place found for it after the fact. And when the article can barely hold the images it has (the Lambda shuttle, for example), there is no reason to add more. - Lord Hydronium 14:08, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- I wasn't uploading for the sake of it: most articles could use additional images, especially ones that show the subject in full and detail. Most film screenshots, for instance, only show a portion of the subject, especially locations. I think the cross-section images -- certainly these no-text versions -- do help the article, and I don't see why you think there isn't enough room: there's usually always space towards the bottom of the article, which is commonly where schematics and behind-the-scenes images go anyway - Captain Kwenn – Talk 14:11, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- As the linked forum topic says, images support text. If more images are to be added, there should be enough text to support their inclusion. If there isn't, then the image should be left out, or others should be removed in their stead. Images crammed into the Appearances section, while they do exist, are something that need to be cut back on. The point of images is to support the text of the article, which is the important part; images themselves are something to be used sparingly, in furthering the message of the text, and not simply put anywhere there's space. Ozzel has a good pair of guidelines in that thread:
- "Does this image specifically illustrate something another image does not?"
- "Can this article contain another image without looking overcrowded?"
- And as he also says, "We are not trying to replace the source." Adding every image from a source treads dangerously close to that. - Lord Hydronium 14:20, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Hello Kwenn. You created this Droid page, right? Is there any more info on the source Bantha Tracks 29 about the manufacturer Snic? It would be nice if we could bring that company out of the red-link area. Carlitos Moff 06:48, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
