Wookieepedia is the Star Wars encyclopedia that anyone can edit, but we are not a general Star Wars forum nor an all-inclusive trivia site.
In-universe articles are written in past tense and from a neutral point of view. Our Manual of Style and Layout Guide form the basis for writing on Wookieepedia.
All additions to Wookieepedia must be sourced and attributed to a reliable, official source. Fanfiction is welcome on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.
As a registered Wookieepedia user, you are entitled to a user page and a unique signature. Eventually you will also gain the right to vote on community matters.
Remember to be nice to your fellow Wookieepedians. Avoid making personal attacks and engaging in edit wars. Using multiple accounts is not allowed.
Talk pages and forums are part of the public record and comments on them, including your own user talk page, should be left intact. Remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes, like this: ~~~~

New to wikis? Don't worry, we were all new once. Our welcome page has everything you need to get started, and the Jundland Wastes sandbox can be used for test edits. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—be bold!

Hi Klaraza, interlanguage links to the Russian wiki are currently blocked on Wookieepedia due to the discriminatory way in which that wiki covers LGBTQ+ topics, which we do not wish to expose our readers to. This was a decision made by the Admin team, not solely by Immi Thrax, and so her resignation does not impact our continued blocking of those links. Ayrehead02 (talk) 20:35, 8 April 2023 (UTC)

I'm not quite sure what you mean Klaraza, none of our admins are Russian and I'm not sure what remark or warning you're talking about. This descision is unrelated to the situation in Ukraine, as I stated, it's based entirely on how the Russian wiki covers LGBTQ+ subjects. Ayrehead02 (talk) 19:39, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
- I think you may have been misinformed about what happened as we've never had a Russian administrator on Wookieepedia and the last of our admins to get blocked here was blocked by Fandom for a separate matter that was unrelated to the delinking of the Russian wiki. The Russian wiki currently covers LGBTQ topics in a discriminatory fashion where they mis-gender trans and non-binary characters. There users have also shown general distain to any LGBTQ+ characters. This is the reason we delinked the Russian wiki and there are no plans to relink it until the content is covered in a non-discriminatory fashion. Ayrehead02 (talk) 17:17, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
