Hello, Kit.haberman, and welcome to Wookieepedia! We hope you like the place and choose to join us in building the best Star Wars encyclopedia there is. Here are some things you should know:
New to wikis? Don't worry, we were all new once. Our help pages will get you started, and the Jundland Wastes sandbox can be used for test edits. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—be bold! I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, you can consult our FAQ, ask a question in the Senate Hall forum, visit our official IRC channel, or leave me a message on my talk page. |
Warning
Unless its directly said in a Behind the scenes article or video that the line was made as a nod to another show, then do not add speculation. Saying the same thing doesn't make it a nod to a show unless is meant to be a nod.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 07:07, February 1, 2020 (UTC)
Tipping Point
Regarding your addition to "Tipping Points," if you're asserting something is a reference to another work, you need to cite a reliable source that says so, such as the Episode Guides on StarWars.com, posts by people involved in the production or published works like Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Episode Guide. Otherwise it's just speculation. And the plot summary is not the appropriate section of the article for behind the scenes details. Your edits are just as valid as mine or anyone else's, but if they don't adhere to the sourcing policy, they will be reverted because of it. Thank you. Toqgers (talk) 07:16, February 1, 2020 (UTC)
- Also, deliberately reverting sourced edits out of spite, as you've just done on Shedao Shai, is considered vandalism. That type of behavior will get you blocked by an administrator if it continues, so please reconsider your approach. Nobody's reverting your edits to be mean. They're being reverted because what's written here has to be sourced, so that readers can verify the information themselves and find more about the topic in the source given. Toqgers (talk) 07:23, February 1, 2020 (UTC)
- Removing Toqgers edits, who are actually sourced just for the sake of doing it is considered vandalism. I will repeat you what I said "you need a source citing everything you're saying. In which BTS material is all that explained? Who said that the droid gunships were made based on cylon raiders? Source is needed". If you add unverified information or remove valid information you will be blocked from editing.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 07:28, February 1, 2020 (UTC)
