In-universe articles are written in past tense and from a neutral point of view. Our Manual of Style and Layout Guide form the basis for writing on Wookieepedia.
All additions to Wookieepedia must be sourced and attributed to a reliable, official source. Fan fiction is welcome on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.
As a registered Wookieepedia user, you are entitled to a user page and a unique signature. Eventually you will also gain the right to vote on community matters.
Remember to be nice to your fellow Wookieepedians. Avoid making personal attacks and engaging in edit wars. Using multiple accounts is not allowed.
Talk pages and forums are part of the public record and comments on them, including your own user talk page, should be left intact. Remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes, like this: ~~~~

Hey, I just wanted to say that all your work on the High Republic/Dooku: Jedi Lost stuff is much appreciated and glad to have you on board! I've just noticed a few times your pages are not entirely matching up with the layout guide, which is fine since you're obviously relatively new and wouldn't expect you to get it spot on everytime from the very start. I believe it would be beneficial for you to read the layout guide and try your best to ensure you're getting your pages as close to it as you can! Hey! It was mostly that the link you added was a Legends page, and also I thought it was just something general and not a specific power/ability, did try to find out in the book but luckily you've pointed it out for me. Canon and Legends

Hey there, Wookieepedia treats TCW as both canon and Legends, so that's why there are Legends pages! You can see here what is canon and what isn't, I hope that's what you were asking for! --Lewisr (talk) 20:34, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

I think it has to o with some Legends stories being influenced by TCW or something, I'm not entirely familiar with exactly why sorry. Well there is the Timeline of canon media and Timeline of Legends media, and similarly Template:MediaTimelines, if that's what are you looking for? --Lewisr (talk) 23:24, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- I'm a bit lost on what you mean, that media timelines does have a list of what is Legends books and canon books. Though I can't really help about books that don't contradict much, especially when you get to books that are around the times of the films --Lewisr (talk) 23:58, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
  - There is a thing in the top right corner of each page that tells you whether it is canon or Legends. Its hard to know how much they contradict with the current canon because I haven't really all of them, or I can't remember everything about them. I would personally say its probably best to try not mixing the 2 together, it would just be easier to treat them as separate timelines --Lewisr (talk) 19:43, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

The weapons detector page was moved into the Legends section because the page itself says its a Legends one, as I mentioned above there is a thing in the top right corner that indicates whether a page is canon or Legends --Lewisr (talk) 19:48, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
      - I would say not necessarily in every instance, mostly it comes down to how notable things are. But in this instance the weapon detector could probably get a canon page yeah, do you know a source that uses the name 'weapon detector'?         Yes the seed pod page is canon, no doubts about it being canon. I'm afraid I can't really give you a good answer to why it is Legends also, you could ask on the discord, since I saw that you had joined the server, hopefully someone who knows will be able to tell you why --Lewisr (talk) 20:29, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
