Wookiees-Transparent

Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —Brandon Rhea(talk) 15:25, September 24, 2014 (UTC)

Forum

Hello. I am an administrator here, and I wanted to take a moment to respond to your comments on the KB forum you started about Rex. First of all, your response to the deletion template being added to the forum was quite uncalled for. The user who added the template is not an administrator, so your gripes about "a bunch of stuck-up admins" is very misplaced. The reason the deletion template was added can be found on the Knowledge Bank home page. That page quite clearly states in bold lettering, "The Knowledge Bank is only for canonically answerable questions. Incorrect or speculatory answers will be reverted or removed, while sourced or otherwise verifiable answers may remain. Off-topic posts are subject to deletion." As you readily admit, your forum was designed as a question with no actual, verifiable answer, so it was marked for deletion in accordance with the forum's rules. This was not done as a personal offense to you, nor is it the work of evil, shadowy administrators who are out to get you. It is our site policy that Wookieepedia is not a general purpose message board. These are rules established by the entire Wookieepedia community. Your defensiveness and anger in this situation is quite unnecessary, and I would hope after you take some time to cool down that you will find your way back to Wookieepedia and utilize it as the excellent source of Star Wars knowledge that you know it for. In the meantime, if you want a place for general Star Wars discussion without fear of having your posts deleted, you're welcome to come into our chat room.
