Wookiees-Transparent

Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —Grunny (Talk) 05:04, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

Re: New

Hello and welcome to Wookieepedia. First off, please make sure that you are familiar with all of the all of Wookieepedia's policies before starting to edit. I am aware that Rex isn't up to date and plan on doing it when I have free time, but thank you for your consideration. CC7567 (talk) 04:55, October 26, 2009 (UTC)

  • Please do not edit other users' talk pages or use mainspace talk pages to promote fan theories. Both are frowned upon here, as a user's page is his/her property. You'll want to read WP:NOT, which is among the policies I linked to you above. CC7567 (talk) 19:01, October 26, 2009 (UTC)
    • Read all of the policies linked in the category I already gave you above. They'll help you. CC7567 (talk) 22:00, October 26, 2009 (UTC)
      • First off, always make sure that you sign every single one of your talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). Second, please make sure that you group your messages in the same place on my talk page, as I don't like having to constantly organize your messages. The template for userpages is {{User infobox}}, and those boxes are called userboxes; instructions on how to use both are found there. The links on my page are IRC links, which you'll have to access either through the wikia gateway or an IRC client of your own. CC7567 (talk) 15:58, October 29, 2009 (UTC)
  • You're better off consulting the actual page instead of asking me. CC7567 (talk) 21:50, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

Warning

As you've already been warned, please stop using mainspace talk pages like forums, as clarified in the {{Talkheader}} tag at the top of every single talk page you visit. Wookieepedia is not a forum, and talk pages are not the place for discussion on an article's subject, only on the article itself. All future edits violating this will be reverted, and you may receive a block if you continue to do so. If you want to find somewhere to speculate, then I recommend finding an actual forum, because we only deal with what is known and do not waste time speculating on trivial matters that do not hold any proven significance. Chances are if you start a post with "I think" and it does not hold any relevancy to improving the article, it should not be posted at all. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 06:39, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

  • If you want to know for personal interest and nothing more, you basically don't ask at all. The best way for you to stay up to date on an encyclopedic site is either to watch the articles yourself for information to be added or find the sources yourself and keep on the lookout for information. Wookieepedia caters to the general readers of the public and not to its members; it's forums that are more member-oriented, while we ourselves are writer-oriented. Please keep this in mind. CC7567 (talk) 19:43, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
    • While I know that you're trying to do better, your post on Coric honestly has absolutely no relevancy if the back of the box only depicts him and gives absolutely no information. Also, please work on your grammar and spelling, as half the time I have no clue what you're trying to say. CC7567 (talk) 19:01, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
      • The only advice I'm going to give you is the one that I already gave you. Wookieepedia is not an English school; you are expected to have adequate language skills before even contributing. CC7567 (talk) 19:28, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
        • Please do not remove your comments from the talk pages. While not all of your comments may have been productive, they are still part of the public record and should not be removed in accordance with the welcome message you received when you first joined. Also, please stop spamming my talk page unless you have a legitimate question to ask that does not concern monitoring your exploits. CC7567 (talk) 22:06, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
