Hey Kasra,
Question: how much do you know about the Tomb of Freedon Nadd?—Tommy 9281 File:Mechnochair negwt.jpg|17px (Mechno-chair) 16:43, February 2, 2010 (UTC)
- Is it not featured in KOTOR 1?—Tommy 9281 File:Mechnochair negwt.jpg|17px (Mechno-chair) 16:48, February 2, 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, what do you have in mind? We both have several things to wrap up before we can focus primarily on the tomb anyway, so it's no big rush.—Tommy 9281 File:Mechnochair negwt.jpg|17px (Mechno-chair) 16:43, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
- This has been on my mind as well. Let's see how things play out with the final issue of Demon, and we'll take it from there.—Tommy 9281 File:Mechnochair negwt.jpg|17px (Mechno-chair) 16:48, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
Hey
Hey Kasra! Yes, I'm back - at least on a limited basis. I had an urgent RL situation last fall so I had to concentrate on that. Now that everything is settling down I have some time to devote to the Wook again. I plan on being around at least a couple of times a week. Congrats on being WOTM! You certainly have been working around here. I see that you have some FANs and I'm hoping to be able to get to them at some point soon. I have to say that I'm somewhat relieved that the KotOR story is ending since now we may have a chance to really straighten out the project and not have to worry about updating all the time. Cylka-talk- 19:46, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, I'll be happy to help you. As for IRC, you may want to check out this web site as it should help you with whatever you need. I'm not yet sure when we're going to have a meeting. I need to catch up on what's been going on and then figure it out. Cylka-talk- 20:06, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- I'll do the pre-nom reviews in the near future since you have some time before you'll be able to put them up. I plan on reviewing Uthar Wynn this week. I think I may wait with Malak and Saul until they are fully updated. And yes, I'm able to upload some images. It all depends on what you want. Tell me specifically, and then I can let you know if it's possible. Cylka-talk- 00:15, February 17, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, I do. What do you need? Cylka-talk- 01:21, February 17, 2010 (UTC)
- I'll get the images scanned soon. I don't have Purge, but I may be able to get a hold of it. I'll let you know. Cylka-talk- 01:31, February 17, 2010 (UTC)
- I should have the images for you tomorrow. I need to tinker with my scanner and it's too late to have my friend help me. But it will be fixed by tomorrow. Cylka-talk- 01:45, February 17, 2010 (UTC)
- Kasra, I've scanned the images that you asked for, but they are coming out grainy and somewhat ugly. I'm not sure what the problem is. I think that you would be better off asking someone who has more experience with images from the CSWE than I do. Sorry about that. Cylka-talk- 21:10, February 18, 2010 (UTC)

KOTOR 50
Hey Kasra, can you do me a solid? I won't be able to get KOTOR #50 for another week or so (my car died, and my comic book shop is quite far; I won't be able to schedule a trip down for a bit.) Could you tell me, without any spoilers, if the Inexpugnable-class appears in the issue? That way, I'll know to get the issue earlier than I would otherwise need to, or put a quick note saying that the article is undergoing an edit or whatever. I just don't want my FAN disrupted because of a problem getting the last issue. Thank you! Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 16:40, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
- No worries about that; I pre-order three months in advance (when Diamond codes first come out) and get a 25% discount, and they hold the books for me. I have Legacy 44, SW Adventures 3 already on hold, and KOTOR 50 and Legacy 45 coming soon. And he sold books at CAD/USD parity when the Canadian dollar was strong (book publishers never modified their cover prices when the difference in dollar value decreased). But thatnks for letting me know about the Inexies. Cheers! Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 20:24, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know, bro! And if you need any scans from it, let me know and I'll get them next week. Cheers! Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 13:35, February 18, 2010 (UTC)
Kreia's lightsaber
Yes, I did get that message. Since the CSWE is the latest source, it should be added that she used a green double-bladed 'saber. All we know for certain is that she used one before she lost her hand. I would assume that she didn't afterward, but that is Bts material. Also, I believe the CG has an image of her controlling three floating purple blades, but in the game they were all different colors. That will be Bts material also. Cylka-talk- 02:21, February 17, 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, but that is kind of weird. I would have imagined that it would be nearly impossible to use a saberstaff with one hand. Yes, I have the pc version of the game and she used different colors. I'll go back to some savegames in the next few days and tell you which colors they were. That is another Bts thing. Cylka-talk- 02:35, February 17, 2010 (UTC)
FA noms
Kasra:
Since we've been unable to connect, I'll just post this here. I'd rather not leave it on the FAN page, but you should be aware of something. Let me simply state that I have gone through and combed every single sentence within the prose of Calo Nord to excise the rampant speculation, areas that needed clarification, and the things that were poorly worded. Especially because of the things that were improperly cited or speculative, I strongly admonish you to go through the other noms on the FAN page within the "Bad guys" project and to heavily scrutinize them. After browsing through the others, I saw similar things. Please rectify them before they progress any further or they will not leave the FAN page as a successful nomination. I'm happy to help out, but I should not have to feel like everything written within an article needs to be questioned. I'm sorry to slap this here, but you are a more talented writer than this. You have the capability to make the KotOR noms work and to really progress the entire WookieeProject. Please be more careful in the future, however. Lastly, please make note of how I changed the wording of the game-play options paragraph in the Bts. Please see how I avoided lacing it with "the player" and refrained from mentioning Revan when speaking about player options. Please note this for your reference in other nominations. — Fiolli {Alpheridies University ComNet} 17:51, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
GAN
It's considered bad form to go back and "revert" changes you made to a nominated article per a reviewer's objection during the nomination process. Such as changing back all mentions of the character's surname to his first name, even after making this change originally following an objection requesting you to do so. This isn't the first time I've seen you do this, Kasra, and it's not a good habit to get into. At the very least, you should discuss this with the reviewer who made the objection in the first place. For the time being, I would suggest changing back the article to the agreed-upon version. Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:34, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
- I didn't mean to infer that everything in that specific edit had to be changed back, just that reverting a change made by way of a reviewer's objection without discussion is generally considered bad form. You're welcome to keep any other minor wording or formatting changes you made. Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:49, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
- You know more about the subject material than I do, so if that is the case regarding his last name, very well. But for future reference, this is why it's best to utilize the edit summary feature to explain to anyone curious, like myself, why the change is being made. Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:51, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
Re: Malak's name
Hey Kasra. I see that you already changed his name back to Alek and that is good, since JJM clarified that Squinquargesimus is not part of his name. I also read the above post, and I have to agree with Tope that it would have been a good idea to show your evidence and talk it over with the person who made the objection about the name, if only to avoid having any conflicts. As for the CSWE images, doesn't JMAS have access to it also? Cylka-talk- 16:09, February 20, 2010 (UTC)
Re: Request
Sure, I'll try to get to her when I have the time. Also, looking at (and rather in response to) Cylka's above message, I'm not concerned if the Darth Malak article uses "Alek" as long as that is the canonical path—as I'm unfamiliar with the source material, you have better judgment on what is good for the article. CC7567 (talk) 07:38, February 22, 2010 (UTC)
- No worries, I'll check it out. It'll be in a day or so, but I'll gladly check it out (just FYI, I can't comment much on the game section, beyond structure and grammar, as I haven't played through the game; only just got it on Steam.). Cheers. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 15:46, February 22, 2010 (UTC)
BTC/ATC
While I'm all for integrating TOR information into more articles, I think that if we do it for KotOR articles we would have to do it for all articles. That would be an immense undertaking, and as it stands I think the BBY/ABY dating system functions well in our articles. I also think that if we were to include BYC/ATC in articles, we would be just as compelled to use Great ReSynchronization dates, which is undesirable. But, final word rests with the members of your project, as I'm technically not a part of it and therefore don't have a lot of authority over the management of KotOR articles. If you have anything for TOR articles though, let me know. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 21:40, February 22, 2010 (UTC)
- You'll be one of the first I notify when I start it. It'll probably be around when they announce an official release date for the game. And thanks for consulting me, by the way. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 21:52, February 22, 2010 (UTC)
- Hey Kasra. I have to agree with Trayus about adding the BTC/ATC dating system to the KotOR articles. TOR and KotOR are very loosely related to each other, and the amount of work that would need to be put in would be staggering. The only time I think that it would be worthwhile to add the dating system is if there ever was an article that specifically included both TOR and KotOR subject matter. Thanks. Cylka-talk- 03:18, February 23, 2010 (UTC)
RE: The tomb...
No sweat. It'll be a while before we get to focus entirely on that anyway, so take your time. You may also want to coordinate with Cylka, because this was originally a project that she and I intended on seeing through. I do, however, want imput from both of you, so it'll be good for the three of us to work on the project together.—Tommy 9281 File:Mechnochair negwt.jpg|17px (Mechno-chair) 00:20, February 24, 2010 (UTC)
- No, she seems to be pretty busy at the moment, and I haven't even asked her about resuming the tomb yet, let alone something new. One thing at a time ;)—Tommy 9281 File:Mechnochair negwt.jpg|17px (Mechno-chair) 00:26, February 24, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Advice
Hey Kasra. While I can understand your reluctance to remove them, I think that it would be a good idea to do so, at least for the time being. It would be better to wait and see what the future sources will have to offer. This would also give you the time to take another look at the articles and see what needs to be fixed up based on the current objections. I know that you have a few other, more straightforward articles that you can nominate instead. Otherwise, you are right, you may be limited with your nominations for a while. If you want to have them removed, the Inqs are having a meeting tonight, and I could bring it up then. Let me know. I hope this helped. Cylka-talk- 20:37, February 27, 2010 (UTC)

Uthar Wynn
Hey, thanks for the comment about Uthar Wynn. As for my objections, it just more about what happened in the correct order. Here's what I mean:
- Revan and Yuthura begin planning
- Revan tells Wynn for prestige and all the other jazz
- Revan tells Ban, who plans on poisoning Wynn
- Revan breaks in Wynn's bedroom, finds the evidence for Selene's murder to give to Dustil, and plants poison in the bed
My only other objections are if Revan gave Uthar Tulak Hord's holocron and Ajunta Pall's blade (which I was glad was fixed by me, haha)
Anyway, thank you for contacting me! Jedi Striker 00:08, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

Re
Well, unless I'm blind, that just states that he plays a Jedi Knight. Whether that's sufficient enough to use as a ref, I'm not sure. FWIW, Gervais Koffi gives a source to SW.com, though the link no longer works. Anyone, I'm not sure if that site would be considered official enough, or whatever, so I'd suggest you keep looking, and see if you can find anything else. Your best bet, I'd say, would be to try to find Homing Beacon 91 or something, because that supposedly contains said info. Chack Jadson (Talk) 20:20, March 20, 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, this is annoying. If you go to ref 7, and click the "Backup link" link, you'll see it says he was in ROTS. Problem is, it doesn't specify as who he played, which is the same as his website, unfortunately. However, several sites that I and several users who I spoke to on IRC say are too unofficial to ref, specify that he did play Koffi (not like that's a big surprise, they look pretty similar :P ). In the BTS when you state who played him, I'd suggest saying "though no official SW source confirms that Koffi played Arana, both SW.com and Koffi's site state that he appeared in ROTS, and several other sites unaffiliated with SW or Koffi do say that he played Arana in ROTS." Then, ref that to his site, homing beacon 91's backup link, and the unofficial sites (this, this and [http://duckduckgo.com/2/c/Star_Wars_actors this). Hope that helps. More KOTOR
I'm afraid I need your services again, this time for mentions of things (and any info not found in the game) inside the North Apartments in the Prima Guide. If you have some extra time to spare, you might as well go and get a list for a few other nearby areas as well, since I'll probably be asking you sometime anyway. As always, if there's anything I can do in return, you need only ask. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 05:07, March 31, 2010 (UTC)
- Sure. It doesn't really matter. It's not like I'll be quitting the site in the next few days :P. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 21:25, April 2, 2010 (UTC)
- This guy in particular is what I'm looking for at present. He's not named, but I'm pretty sure he's mentioned due to his importance to the plot. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 23:21, April 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Wow. I had no idea you could go to those other people. Every time I played it, I went to the Aqualish. Further investigation on GameBanshee reveals that you can actually buy them off Sarna too. However, the Aqualish is the canonical way of obtaining them, since the encounter provides LS points if done correctly. Thanks for the tip though; I could have easily missed that. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is the truth) 07:02, April 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Could you check two more areas for appearances? The Upper City Cantina and the dueling ring. Thanks for the previous list BTW, I think I'll be doing Gana Lavin once I get KotOR installed on my new computer, but the others are involved in larger quests and might have to wait. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 02:07, July 11, 2010 (UTC)
- Oh and also, do you know how to handle Gana? If your persuade skill is high enough, nothing will happen with her, but if it isn't, you get that fight scene outside the Emporium. Which should go into the body, and which into the BTS? Do we assume that his skills (including demo, security, etc.) are high enoough to overcome everything but "impossible" situations? SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 02:07, July 11, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes a CSWE search of her along with other Upper City/Cantina/Dueling Ring characters would do nicely. I concur with your take on the dialogue thing too. Thanks! SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is the truth) 04:51, July 12, 2010 (UTC)

I believe that's at least two of each of the things you asked for. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is the truth) 22:51, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

Oh that sounds great. Any help you need, just let me know. And I've been wanting to ask around: when do you think would be a good time to start a TOR WookieeProject? Darth Malak quote
I noticed you removed the [sic] tag on the databank quote on Darth Malak's page. The quote comes from the second paragraph in the Behind the Scenes section of his databank entry, and Millennium is spelled incorrectly there. It's been kind of a project of mine to correct all of the incorrect spellings of the Millennium Falcon so I was hoping it'd be alright for me to put the [sic] tag back in? Koffi
You're right about Palpy/DS. Inn some contexts you use the latter and it's just my personal preference, but in this case Palpy should be used. As for "Dark Side," it is always lowercase, even if it is uppercase in the quoted fiction, really just because the writers can't keep their captalization straight, let alone continuity. The CIS needs some kind of context if you say the name. It doesn't have to be pipelinked, it's just easier sometimes. NaruHina Talk 14px 22:14, April 26, 2010 (UTC)

KOTOR era ships
Hi Kasra, sorry about the delay, I was traveling on business and just got back. Berlin is such a nice city :) Anyways, thanks on the congrats! And congrats on your various FAs lately (didn't Malak just get one?) As for what's next, since I haven't played much of the game (and no playing KOTOR II at all), I'm limited by what's in the comics, Handbook, and CG. My next project will probably be the Chaos Fighter, since it's only in the TOTJ comics and the KOTOR CG. I might continue with other KOTOR ships later, maybe GANing some of the smaller/weirder/unidentified ones, or even some of the Mando ones. I can even work on some KOTOR game ones with your help (like the Foray or Chela). But I won't go near any major game vessels, like Hammerhead or Aurek. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 16:58, April 29, 2010 (UTC)
- Good call on Endar Spire; it was early enough in the game that I remember it (and it may well feature in TOR; there's wreckage of a Hammerhead on Taris). As regarding the other ships, I should clarify that they were classes Foray-class blockade runner and S-250 Chela-class starfighter. I'm bigger into starship classes than ships themselves, but it will be fun to try individual ships too. And yes, I am on Facebook, but for privacy I'd rather not put my real name and info on the Wook. Give me an email address and I'll send it to you? Hey Kasra, sorry it took me so long to get to this. A few things stood out to me:
Is there no article for the individual Dir'Nul was assigned to guard?- No, no detail is given on the person in question.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 12:43, May 1, 2010 (UTC)
Is there no article for the duel between she and the unidentified Jedi whom she thought was Kardem?- I'll create the article.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 12:43, May 1, 2010 (UTC)
- Created.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 13:01, May 1, 2010 (UTC)
- I'll create the article.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 12:43, May 1, 2010 (UTC)
"However, she caught B'risko in the arms of a Twi'lek female, and Dir'Nul murdered them both. She created the personality of the male Dark Jedi Kardem, and was unaware that she was the person that had killed B'risko." You need to transition this a little better so that the reader is totally aware that the killing of the Twi'lek and B'risko caused Dir'Nul to adopt an alter-ego.- I think it's clearer now.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 12:43, May 1, 2010 (UTC)
"A bounty was eventually placed on Dir'Nul's split personality of Kardem. Dir'Nul was captured by the Mandalorian bounty hunter Feskitt Bobb.<ref name="THotM">{{InsiderCite|80|The History of the Mandalorians}}</ref>" Again with the transitioning. Did the galaxy at large know that Kardem was actually Dir'Nul? What made the Mandalorian take her into custody?- This is all the article has to say about Kardem's capture. Dir'Nul isn't mentioned anywhere there.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 01:46, May 5, 2010 (UTC)
- That's all I got.—Tommy 9281 22:45, April 29, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review, Tommy, let me know if there are any other issues.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 01:46, May 5, 2010 (UTC)
Re:
Yeah, I think it's a good practice too, in the event that the information you're referencing is from a different entry than the name of the subject. Since that information for the Koffi Arana article was under the "Koffi Arana" entry in CSWE, I think it's just unnecessarily redundant to include that in that case. Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:18, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
- I still think it's unnecessary, but if you really want to include it in your referencing, go for it. I would suggest at least leaving it out of the Sources list unless the information is found under a different entry. Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:36, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

|
ALFREDA GOOT AND FESKITT BOBB Alfredo Goot and Feskitt Bobb were washouts from Dala and Shysa's elite police training program, managing to coble together suits of supercommando armor and became soldiers-for-hire. Good, a Togorian, didn't amount to much more than a low-rent merc. She worked only a couple jobs for minor crime lord Slag Flats before trying to make a name for herself collecting the bounty on Han Solo. Goot managed to bait the Corellian smuggler to the Dockside Café at Mos Eisley, but her mediocre skill proved inadequate to trump the legendary Solo luck. Feskitt Bobb fared better. A Mandallian Giant, Bobb was an accomplished and ruthless hunter, famous for capturing the notorious serial killer Kardem. Not only did he carry illegal disruptors as part of his regular arsenal, Bobb had no qualms with using torture methods like the Burning to acquire his quarry. Bobb also occasionally took special assignments for the Empire. On one such job in the Crystal Forests of Goratak III, a lucky shot from a Rebel punk abruptly ended Bobb's career. | |
Here's all the information on Goot and Bobb. Sadly, there really isn't any information except that Kardem was captured by Bobb. There is no mention of any Vydel Dir'Nul in there anywhere. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 01:38, May 5, 2010 (UTC)

Uthar Wynn
Hey Kasra. Do you need help with my FAN objection to Uthar Wynn? I would be happy to help you sort out the context issue if you need it. We can either do it through talk pages or through IRC if it helps. CC7567 (talk) 21:28, May 8, 2010 (UTC)
- While I do see the issue here, I'd like you to find a way to get past the game completion problem so that it doesn't become a hindrance. Let me point out to you which ones I'm specifically finding are a little hesitant on relevancy, and we can go from there:
- "During Revan's stay at the Academy, he assisted Carth Onasi in convincing his son, Dustil, that the Sith were evil. Revan broke into Wynn's room in the Academy and stole his personal datapad, which contained his order to kill Selene. This caused Dustil to abandon the Sith ways and leave the Academy." Do Dustil's actions, specifically, have any effect on Wynn? If not, do they affect Wynn if it they are done a different way? If the answer to both of these is no, then only Wynn's datapad should be mentioned with the note that it was stolen by Revan.
- "While Revan was earning prestige in order to gain access to the Star Map, he gained Ban's trust and friendship. The two conspired with each other to kill Wynn in the tomb of the ancient Dark Lord Naga Sadow, where Revan's final test to prove his worth was to take place." Can this not simply be mentioned when Wynn is killed at the tomb? It doesn't have much relevancy to Wynn in its current placement.
- Those are basically the two places that I'm noticing to be a little hazy as far as extraneous context goes. If it is completely impossible to rephrase them without threatening the validity of the game completion tag, then let me know and I'll strike my objection, but I'd like you to at least try and modify them if possible. Could you start the intro an other way. Something like just "Asaak Dan was a Togruta male Jedi Master who lived at-that-time", and then insert the presence in the Temple later?"Evacuation on Dac:" Context on Rogue Squadron.- That's all. I reviewed the other one as well, and left some objections at its FAN entry. -- 1358 (Talk) 05:07, May 10, 2010 (UTC)

Duel in the Hrakert Station talk page
I appreciate you directing me to the CT Archive/Proposal for approaching KotOR articles forum and I read through your Proposal. However you make one critical error, using the KotOR Guide book as an additional reference point. I say this because in the Guide book for the game it shows images of Bastila on Korriban which is the one planet she can not set foot on. Also Darth Culator’s point about the vision that reveals Revan’s identity doesn’t prove that is the order of the planet he visited on his second quest for the Star Forge if anything it prove that it is the most likely order of his first quest to find the Star Forge. Now I am not sure of the order in which Revan traveled on his second journey but I do agree that Korriban would have been the most likely final planet in the order. The last planet is right after Revan loses Bastila and she couldn't have left the Ebon Hawk anyway, and besides would you save the enemy stronghold for last. --JMasterWor 14:27, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

Hey Kasra, you did a great job updating the articles, but I agree with you that it's a little early to nominate them. I support nominations for certain articles, but since these two have been confirmed as major characters, I would suggest waiting until the game is released. I also agree with you that Artus should be moved, as Mandalore the Vindicated seems to be the name he's known to the galaxy by, and the HoloNet report would indicate that he's forsaken the name Artus. Mandalore or Mand'alor—they're both the same, one's simply the "native" rendering. As I understand it, both are equally acceptable. In the case of the references in the succession box, I know they're necessary but as they were, they created an error. I removed them when I couldn't fix it, and planned on requesting a re-source. Hey Kasra, do you own the Complete Encyclopedia? If not, do you have anyone you could refer me to for information from it? Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 22:29, May 22, 2010 (UTC)
- Firstly, I think it's great that they revealed the Emperor, although he's not at all what I expected. - I had not, although that article looks to be in pretty good shape already. My one concern with Bindo is that his primary source is not something that can be scanned through quickly in a text format. I'm currently trying to push myself on the WP:TOR front, but after the GJ article gets FA status, I'll consider it. I figure it's easier to promote articles in "bunches" of related material, so that I can keep them all updated as new sources come out, and Bindo is certainly related to the GJ article. Thank you for the suggestion and the offer of support. —fodigg 20px (talk) | 13:37, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
Re: New source to Koon
"Plo's niece, Sha Koon, was also a Jedi—she served beside him in the Stark Hyperspace War!" That's all the magazine has on her, so I don't think Koon's article requires any change. Cheers, CC7567 (talk) 00:13, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

Hey Kasra. As a result of some recent objections to the FA nomination, I've made some fairly extensive changes to Jedi Tower. Re:Suggestion
Depending on what your general interest is, I would choose one of those. As for WP:TCW, we generally do character or battle articles, sometimes events or miscellaneous things. TCW character articles are a little more straight forward than battle articles, if you know what I mean. Anything that has to do with season one, however, you may need to find quite a few sources, i.e, episode guides, visual guides, CSWE, both Clone Wars TCG, Season one guide. TCW comic and/or webcomic characters are a lot more simpler, though. For battles, the source hunt is the same, but they can be a little more complex. If you want great TCW battle article examples, CC did the majority of season one and a few of season two battles. You are always welcome to join WP:TCW, too. If you have any questions about the project, CC is the creator and leader so you can ask him. Cheers, JangFett (Talk) 03:04, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

They're all of the same basic quality of the current images, so if you would like to use them in the articles, feel free. The only one I actually disagree with is Mandalore, as the new one seems a little fuzzy, and I like being able to see him holding his own helmet and wearing his armor. - On the linking: I tried to follow that idea, link at first opportunity, but I also tried to find a balance so that someone wanting to know about CSF only during the Legacy era, didn't have to look through the entire article for a link for the GAG. Because I have found that in articles and I waste a lot of time trying to find a link for something and I find in an obscure place somewhere at the beginning instead of where it was mostly discussed. I got this one
Hey Kasra, first off thanks for taking the time to congratulate me on HK's success, it was greatly appreciated. I also want to applaud your initiative in improving the articles for the characters who were revealed just yesterday, namely the Unidentified Republic trooper. I'd like to get in on this little project before tackling Canderous, my next major one, so just letting you know I'd like to handle the Unidentified female Jedi. She reminds me of Bastila. :) Keep up the good work! JethLordMaster18px (Xia Order) 05:11, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Oops, just noticed you already had her listed on The Old Republic Project Page as one of your future projects. Sorry, I hope you don't mind! JethLordMaster18px (Xia Order) 17:07, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Revan huh? An ambitious project to be sure, but an article of such importance deserves nothing less. Count me in! I'll be sure to start making any improvements I see and once Revan is put up for nomination I will zealously deal with any objections. Revan has always been on my list but has admittedly been a daunting project, but with a team I'm sure we'll pull it off! JethLordMaster18px (Xia Order) 18:10, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Just letting you know I've done a bit of work on Revan already, namely expanding the Manaan section and incorporating the information from Timeline 8. In addition I've moved and added a few images where I thought they would fit. Feel free to speak your mind if you disagree with anything I've done and we'll work it out. I'm a bit curious as to what we'll do with the current Revan page though in terms of new edits being made. I noticed someone has still been adding recent information and there will probably be some conflict. JethLordMaster18px (Xia Order) 22:47, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

I have no plans on Diath and Ven'nari so you're all clear, let me know if I can help in any way though. :) And feel free to add anything to the Antilles article. I'd hate to think that you've done extensive work on him only for me to nominate him first.ToRsO bOy 22:22, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
- That's great. Yeah I'll be sure to check them out when you nominate them. I'm adding some additional sources for the Dark Woman's other Padawans, and I'm not sure if it's the right format. I essentially copied the one you did with the New Essential chronology, sans the ref tags.ToRsO bOy 22:41, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
Hi JK. I need some help regarding the date for the article. I'm planning to stick with the 4 months after Geonosis date then place a mention of the New Essential Chronology date on the Behind the Scenes. So 4 months after Geonosis translates to 22.4? or 21.4? Re: Galaxy Source
It's technically not part of the main line, but he's featured on a few artist sketch cards for the series. In fact, KotOR characters seem to be the most popular as far as the EU goes for artists. People have done sketch cards for Revan, Nihilus, Sion, Bastila, Carth, Kreia, HK-47, Brianna, etc. I'd add it to all of their Sources lists, but I'm a little overwhelmed at the moment. =P Xicer920px(Combadge) 01:40, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

As far as what? Looking at his appearances list will tell you what you need to know. If you want more specific information, I won't be able to get it to you until tonight. As far as the Sidrona Diath thing, that's in the Tales of the Jedi Companion, though I'm not sure if that's what you are asking for.—Tommy 9281 00:00, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

CT Change
As per some additional discussion, an addition has been made to the wording of the "Creation of a CAN removal process" section of the comprehensive articles CT. Please take a look and make sure that you still support the amended proposal. Thefourdotelipsis 02:47, July 1, 2010 (UTC)
- Further amendments have been made to the "Grey Cadre" section of voting as well, specifically the outlining of no self-votes being allowed, and the removal of the "vote bypass" clause in the trial page's rules section. Thefourdotelipsis 05:28, July 1, 2010 (UTC)
Malak concerns etc
Hi! TBH, I'm not really "back" so much as making flying visits every now and again. Just a quick point regarding dev interviews, though: they're not canon sources. For example, if Chris Avellone said: "Kreia is actually Arren Kae" we could only put that in the Behind the Scenes section until that fact was published in an official SW supplement, because nothign actually tells us that -- for a fact -- in KotOR 2. Same went for when John and Jan gave us character ages for the Legacy cast: until their age or date of birth is mentioned in Legacy itself, it's not canon. So we should only be using the Jedi Civil War timeline video as a source when it comes to Malak, Revan and the Emperor. Sorry to be a pain! Uli Talk 00:50, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Query about Neyo
Well, in Elite Squadron, he appears in stock footage from ROTS. And Renegade Squadron's customization feature has Neyo's helmet as one of the available head types for a Galactic Republic character. However, you can play for the Republic in non-storyline missions only, so I wouldn't count it as an appearance. QuiGonJinn 20px(Talk) 10:30, July 8, 2010 (UTC)
Sith magic
Hey JK,
How much do you know about Sith magic? Have you come across it in your travels? I've included what I've seen from KOTOR, but perhaps I'm missing something. Please let me know, thanks.—Tommy 9281 17:27, July 8, 2010 (UTC)
Nomination tagging
When you nominate an article and post the {{FAnom}} or {{GAnom}} on the article, please try to indicate that you're tagging the article as a nomination by including something like "FAnom" or "GAnom" in the edit summary of the revision. It makes archiving nominations a whole lot easier, as the indicators will show up in the edit history if you do so. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 03:07, July 10, 2010 (UTC)

While I will do my best to get to them, I cannot promise anything because my reviewing time and my time on the site overall is being limited due to personal commitments. I will get to them as soon as I can, though please just note that I tend to give older nominations precedence to get them off the FAN page. CC7567 (talk) 03:28, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
- I'd love to review your articles. I'll get started in on Malak tonight and try to finish up as soon as I can. I may not get to many others because I'm a little bogged down with other projects at the moment, but I'll try. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 08:47, July 16, 2010 (UTC)

RE: More KOTOR
Hey Kasra,
No sweat. You've more than earned all the support you've garnered thus far, and I am quite confident in your ability to manage/maintain the project in Cylka's absence. I think that the Chief Editor position would be a good fit for you, something like a vice president; all the same authority, just a different title. Let me know if you need any help with anything.—Tommy 9281 02:02, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

Grats
Congratulations on becoming chief editor of the KotOR Wookieeproject! I know you'll do a great job. Anyway, since you're our official second-in-command now, I suppose you could give approval to that LS/game completion template I made. Also, I want to ask your permission to nominate you for a position on the EduCorps, as, in your position as Chief Editor, you can be trusted to provide "quality reviews". SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is the truth) 05:03, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

Hey Kasra,
Is Freedon Nadd's corpse in KOTOR 2? I only remember his tomb & sarcophagus, but don't remember whether his actual body was there. Let me know, thanks.—Tommy 9281 18:57, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
Re: Invitation
Thanks for the invite, Kasra, and I'm flattered. But I've thought it over and unfortunately, I'm not very knowledgeable about KotOR-era Mandalorians. The so-called "modern" Mandos are really where my expertise lies, and to be entirely honest, I've never even played either of the games and only read an issue or two of the comics. I'll still be looking over most of the articles peripherally, though, fixing anything I do notice to be incorrect. Anyway, thanks for thinking of me, and best of luck as the project's chief editor! :D Bella'Mia 03:42, July 24, 2010 (UTC)

Re:Invitation
I would love to attend. I was actually going to ask if you wouldn't mind my presence, but since you invited me, I suppose the request isn't needed anymore. I have a few ideas and comments that I would like to make to your project members, if you don't mind. Just notes that may help improve the transfer of information between the projects. - Absolutely, and congrats on your imminent admission to the EC. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 00:03, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
- The story is good and the characters are all really well done and complex, but my only problem is how Williams describes the action sequences. You can definitely tell he's going off of game mechanics because everything is really play-by-play and kind of overly specific. But I guess it's a good preview for the game itself, in a way. I'm not through all of it yet though so so I'll let you know how the rest of it is when I'm done. Oh, and once I finish I'll see if I can catch you on IRC to give you Satele notes. She doesn't have a huge part, which is good. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 00:10, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Edits
Hi Kasra,
Thanks for your note. My attitude has been that hyperlinks to other articles should be the same part of speech as the articles themselves whenever possible. Thus it's rather awkward and illogical to write "Bandon and his Dark Jedi then engaged Revan and his companions in a duel," which might naturally cause one to believe that the link led to a page about engagements in the Star Wars universe. Much better in my opinion is "Bandon and his Dark Jedi then engaged Revan and his companions in a duel" because the user can more easily follow the sentence's progression and discover the link to the relevant page. Why should the hyperlink to the duel not be attached to the words "a duel" themselves, the most obvious and logical choice, but to the sentence's verb, the choice of which is often capricious? "Bandon and his Dark Jedi then dueled Revan and his companions" would be better, but the verb as hyperlink would again cause me to think that it led to the general page about Star Wars duels and not this particular one. "A duel" is best in my view because the inclusion of the article "a" makes it clear that the link is for this specific duel.
This is hardly a big change to either article, merely a matter of clarity, readability, and ease of use. You're right that it's not exactly necessary—in a traditional encyclopedia it could be eliminated—but when adding hyperlinks to other articles I think it makes more sense and helps the reader to find related articles more easily. If I do make larger edits in the future I will be sure to let you know, but I think the articles (and others) would be improved if the wording were rearranged slightly. As for joining WP:KOTOR, I'm afraid I'm on here too sporadically at the moment to be of any real use to the project, but thanks for the invitation and best wishes.
Wow... that's a lot of words about one sentence. :P Kebla 00:22, July 29, 2010 (UTC)
- Ok! I certainly understand where you're coming from. Thanks for hearing me out. By the way, do you know why so many pages link to Duel in the Hrakert Station instead of Duel in Hrakert Station, which I changed it to? I edited the Jedi Civil War template, but they still seem to link to the same page. Kebla 07:40, July 29, 2010 (UTC)
Quick review request
Hi, I began today my work to expand Vossk to as far as I can and it's currently in my subpage. Could you quickly look if it's ok to drop in to the article as it is? I tried to make sure there's no clear mistakes but I'm still bit green so don't feel secured. --Tm_T (Talk) 02:29, July 29, 2010 (UTC)

A few things...
Hey Kasra. First thing, while scouring the DHC boards for info about Slyssk, I came across this post by JJM; he says a lot about his thought process behind Karath. Secondly, could you check the CSWE for anything about Slyssk? Finally, I've looked at the Atlas for new info about the Jedi Civil War and the only really new thing is the map which shows the progress of it on a map so we could add it to the article somewhere I suppose. One thing that it shows are various battles that took place by way of indicating planets with a "Sith victory" tag or vice versa, is it worth creating half a dozen stubs for these? Cheers, NAYAYEN:TALK 14:08, August 2, 2010 (UTC)
- I might use Google to crawl through the DHC and TFN boards to find the relevant threads and put them in my sandbox much like I have with the WOTC stuff. They're good for finding random snippets of info from JJM or the artists. Thanks for looking that up. NAYAYEN:TALK 11:33, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Hey Kasra, thanks for the invite and the offer, I'm sure I'll be calling on your knowledge when the time comes. Also, I wanted to let you know that at some point in the near future I plan to be placing a forums section on the WP:TOR page. At least one of these forums will be specifically for communication with WP:KotOR, in that it will be a page where WP:KotOR members can go on and request TOR information on KotOR subjects, like Taris, Bastila, or any number of other topics that will appear or be mentioned in the upcoming game. This way, articles of status can retain their star/check without everyone in WP:KotOR having to go out and purchase SW:TOR. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 00:05, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Query
Okay, here's what I've got:
First sentence of the Description/Contents section is too redundant.- Better?—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 20:40, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
"and, unlike most Sith holocrons, was adorned with a few Sith symbols." This makes it sound as if it's rare for Sith holocrons to have any symbols on them, but I thought it was the other way around.- Added "only a few".—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 20:40, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
Shouldn't the "contents" stuff be merged with the "teachings" section?- Now that I think about it, yeah. Done.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 20:40, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
"that they had successfully defended during the Mandalorian Wars" Seems a bit too context-heavy. Is this really needed here?- Removed. I need to work on going overboard on context. My problem used to be not enough context, now it a little too much.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 20:40, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
"After using the Force to remove the stone…" I assumed this was referring to telekinesis and so linked that to "remove," but if he used some other technique please correct the link, since I don't have the novel with me to check.- Forgot to link this, thanks.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 20:40, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
"Bane used the Force to destroy the device…" How exactly? (You don't have to explain the technique he used, but if whatever technique he used is not linked already in the article, please link it here. If the technique he used is already linked, then you can disregard this one.)- It just says that he used the Force to destroy the holocron, he could have crushed it with his foot with the Force's aid, but it doesn't say.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 20:40, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, no problem. That's one of those sofixit things I'd normally check on myself, but since I don't have the novel with me right now…

Why have you sourced the BTS? It looks to me like everything in it is self-sourcing.- I'll remove this info, though I do feel they help.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 20:40, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
Please remove one of the "later"s from the last sentence of the BTS, it's a little repetative.- Also, as a side note, make sure to watch your linking. I caught several missing links and redirects during my copy-edit.
- OK, will do, though I didn't know that pyramid had an article. Heh.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 20:40, August 16, 2010 (UTC)

- Oh, I rearranged the images, because I really dislike images cutting into sections. Hope this OK.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 20:44, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
- No problem—I ended up tweaking the placements a bit so that they alternate from left to right, and I moved the image of Revan up beside the section quote so it wasn't quite as close to the image of Bane, but you can change them back if you like. Anyway, the article looks good. Nom it whenever you're ready. :) Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 21:04, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
- I think it's good, since it gives an example of the holocron's shape, but it's not completely necessary, so whatever you want to do with it is OK with me. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 21:12, August 16, 2010 (UTC)

- Actually, one more quick thing: could you add a couple specifics on the holocron's contents in the intro? Sorry for not posting this earlier. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 22:12, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, the thought bomb would probably be good, and maybe a bit about the need to covet the dark side. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 22:18, August 16, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Holocron infobox
Well, I'm a total noob when it comes to code and other such technical things, but I think you can edit the template itself and just change them around. I'm no expert on that kind of thing, though. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 22:07, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
Meeting.
When did you say you were wanting to meet? I asked Cylka, but she hasn't answered yet and I want to plan ahead. Have you discussed it with her? --DarthRageLeave a message after the beep 00:48, August 18, 2010 (UTC)
Project
Hey Kasra. It's good to be back, again. This year has been a little rough for me. Hopefully this comeback will last longer :P Thanks for sending me the transcript link. I'm available for a meeting this Saturday, if that is what people want. Cylka-talk- 01:15, August 18, 2010 (UTC)
- I'm on East Coast time, for now, as well. If I'm online and available, I'll be in WP:KOTOR, so check in there if you like. And no worries, your KotOR articles are next on my list :) Cylka-talk- 02:15, August 18, 2010 (UTC)
Meeting
Hi Kasra, is it possible to make it Friday night (aka Saturday at 0h00)? I won't be available Saturday night. If not, that's cool, I'll read through the transcript later. Sorry! Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 12:35, August 18, 2010 (UTC)
Krayt's Sith troopers
Thanks for your edits on the two new articles I made. I am concerned about the move of the Darth Krayt's Sith troopers article. I am afraid that the word "troopers" does not fit the naming convention because it uses the plural. You wouldn't name an article "clonetroopers" or "mandalorians." So I don't think we can get away with that (although I like it better). Now there is an article entitled Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire, so you may be able to get away with putting Krayt's name first and not in parenthesis i.e Sith trooper (Darth Krayt's), but the article will have to be named Darth Krayt's Sith trooper (which then sounds a little weird. So my vote would be for Krayt's name to be in parentheses. I am not gonna change what you got, since I couldn't get the name right twice already. Either you or the other guys can figure out if it should be moved again. Thanks for your help. IthinkIwannaLeiaWaddaUthink? 08:58, August 20, 2010 (UTC)
Re: IRC
Yeah, I do. As I'm in Finland, we are in different time zones, but if you want to meet me, I'm online around 2 pm – 8 pm UTC (UTC+1 during summertime) on weekdays and more often on weekends. Is there something special you want to talk about? :) -- 1358 (Talk) 12:00, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Re: Stormtrooper X
Yep, that's the cover of Boba Fett ½, I've already referenced it in the article. Thanks for keeping an eye out anyway. :) Xicer920px(Combadge) 22:08, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
K2 template
Hey Kasra. Here's the template you wanted. We can add the link to the game page later. Cylka-talk- 04:41, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks! I don't have anything different than what's on that page, though. Unfortunately I'm limited to KOTOR, KOTOR 2, and whatever's in TEA. =P - Brandon Rhea 15px (talk) 03:56, August 30, 2010 (UTC)

CT wording tweak
Hi! Just letting you know that the wording of a ct you've recently voted in has changed slightly. It went from 'If a droid has gender-specific programming, refer to them as "he" or "she" rather than "it".' to 'If a droid has gender-specific programming and is predominantly referred to as "he" or "she" in canon, refer to them as "he" or "she" rather than "it".' Very minor tweak. Let me know if you hate it. Menkooroo 05:20, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
Malak
No it didn't it said:
- "We know nothing of what transpired when Revan and Malak met the Sith Emperor. One thing is certain they did so on behalf of there new Dark Master."
Reference to there Dark Master does not say that he was there Sith Master, especially since they were to no know nothing of what transpired when Malak met the Sith Emperor, only the result. That does not categorically say that Malak and Revan were apprenticed to the Sith Emperor. Alexsau1991 (talk page) [[:File:SithEmblemTOR.png|20px]] 09:49, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
- The sentence is up to interpretation one way or another, and we have both obviously interpreted it in opposite ways, but since it does identify him as there "Dark Master" then I guess that is enough to confirm it until we get something more solid (proving the fact ether way). Re: Resource list
No problem with the template. We can link to the "order specified" once we update the game article. And just let me know about the image question. Cylka-talk- 01:56, August 31, 2010 (UTC)

Hi, Kasra. I wonder about your striken objection on The Righteous. Do you plan another review? Clone Commander Lee Talk 17:56, August 31, 2010 (UTC)
Re:Shan
Hey Kasra, sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. I totally didn't notice your message until just yesterday. The book was good, although it was pretty obvious that it was drawing more from elements of game play than it was from the stories you follow in the game itself. But the characters were well done. I'll email you with the Shan information, because there's a lot of it. I may not be able to get to it immediately because I have a pretty busy week, but I'll do it as soon as I can.
