Delusions of Grandeur

  • Man, I'm out of it for a week or so and everyone gets delusions of grandeur. Apparently, our little CD13, Jaina Solo, Nebulax, Jabba, and Atarumaster story went on without me. What have I missed that I should somehow retcon into my storyline? I wake up and all of a sudden, I'm on an Executor-class Star Dreadnaught!   • Nah, normally I would try and stop the fight, but I've already tried that and Ugluk and Jack were waging a multi-front conflict- way out of my league. I monitored it though. I'll take a shot at Leia. I see you are still trying to make me into a full-fledged Jedi Master. "I'm just a simple man, trying to make my way in the universe." I haven't played with my fanfic since the whole T&R mess, although I just asked the good Admiral about how we might accomplish that "standoff" we have.   • That's where my other browser window is focused right now. As for the standoff, I have an idea, but it HAS to be approved by Admiral Jack. Okay- I have a fleet- fairly sizable- with firepower of about 1 Mediator cruiser, 8 ImpStars, 12 BACs, and about 60 smaller ships- and I can sneak around invisibly. I suggest that I appear on his bridge and basically offer a trade to Nebulax- my son is holding his wife hostage because he can sneak around also. If he lets the twins go, she gets released. If not, then it gets messy. Except I'll tell Nebulax that YOU are holding his wife hostage, and you're really hacked off at him. The other part of the deal is that we both part ways in peace and never fight each other again, because if not, my fleet is in position to jump in over his home planet and orbital bombard it as well. Classic carrot and stick. Then I want to part ways with you- because just like Yoda couldn't fight for Luke- you must confront Jacen, and then a Jedi Master will you be. No offense, but it would take Han, Leia, Lando, Luke, Mara, Jaina, and the rest of the Master's Council to make me want to join the Jedi Council. Sorry for the length of the post.
