Dejarik
Hi, sorry I didn't read your question on Dejarik talk page. Well, I didn't know how to write other way. What I meant was: in those two novels Han Solo at Stars' End and Han Solo and the Lost Legacy was clearly description of dejarik without written word "dejarik". Just description like holomonster, some specific strategy like Ilthmar Gambit, gameboard master control etc. I was thinking to put there (Possible appearance), but it's not possible appearance of subject, it's sure appearance :) when all that description clearly leads to dejarik game. I guess it's probably confusing, but like I said I don't know how else to write that. Thank you for asking.--Jedi Marty 10:46, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Star Wars PocketModels
I selected the standard summary for "reverting vandalism" on Star Wars PocketModel TCG: Scum & Villainy is because I thought you were the other user still trying to redirect another article about an expansion from the same game - Star Wars PocketModel TCG: Clone Wars Tactics. The reason the titles are spelled out complete is because that it is the best way to differentiate them from other games with expansions bearing the same titles, as well as other phrases in-universe. For example, compare Order 66 to Star Wars PocketModel TCG: Order 66. Or Ground Assault to Star Wars PocketModel TCG: Ground Assault. Try typing Clone Wars to find the PocketModel game expansion of the same name. It also makes finding the expansions easier as they all begin with the same identifier. - Good point. I'll add the youmay template. I was thinking of it earlier, but got side-tracked on something else... Gethralkin 05:06, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
- I've added the disambig templates to the rest of the expansions. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Gethralkin 05:25, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
Re: Url
Thanks for that url. When it was given to me I looked for other cards that mentioned Wallen or had a picture of him, and after looking through all the Endor Expansion and Death Star II packs, I can confirm that there are no more sources mentioning Wallen, just the CCG card for him. :)Hanzo Hasashi 01:43, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

9G
Does the book list DeepSpace Industries as the manufacturer or Arakyd or what?JustinGann 10:45, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Apparently, just "DeepSpace." jSarek 10:50, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm, CUSWE indicates the First Edition has "DeepSpace Industries"--could you look up and see if that is so, whether the 9G has a pic in there, etc. I am strongly suspicious that this is just another name for the 6G2. Also, is there a color version of the 6G2 pic somewhere? I keep thinking there is for some reasonJustinGann 10:54, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- I don't have the First Edition, just the Second Edition. The Second Edition just lists its model as "DeepSpace 9G Explorer Droid," in much the same way as it refers to the R2 as the Industrial Automaton R2 Astromech Droid." I've not found any other reference to the company, though I admittedly haven't looked much beyond the relevant pages for the 9G. jSarek 11:20, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

IR-3F
a query, is there any reason to regard one depiction of the IR-3F as more canonical than the other? While the P&P pic is neat looking, I think the TABSB one makes more sense, due to the obvious resemblance to the IPV-1. Still, that is just personal taste. But is there anything in textual descriptions that would favor one over the other?JustinGann 10:52, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Even better, I can't find a reference to the current main image explicitly being the IR-3F. Feel free to swap 'em. jSarek 11:20, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Zebra
[1] also, can you shed any light on this query?JustinGann 10:56, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Nope, I've never seen the pic before. Might have come off of a back cover of a WEG book, maybe. jSarek 11:20, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
I see "link suggests" when I am making atticles or in the search bar, but sometimes it doesn't show up in the upload pic image box...Why is that?JustinGann 10:05, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Query
I have some questions regarding your recent CT. Do you intend to shrink existing images to comply with the CT? Did you consider that there is nothing about fair use that expressly forbids the use of high resolution images? You state in the CT that we are turning into an "image library", but this is not true; we strive for high quality in both textual and graphical form. Or, at least we used to. --Imperialles 08:47, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Deletions
I'm glad you took it upon yourself to undelete those two system articles without even discussing it with me, JSarek, but perhaps if you had taken the time to consider why it was deleted in the first place, you would have seen the reasoning behind it. I will kindly direct you to this conversation here, in which I tried to reconcile what isn't "plain as day" in TASB. I don't disagree with undeleting them, which I was going to do anyways after I had the time to discuss this with Eyrezer (which I might also add is part of our protracted efforts to unearth obscure star systems for the sake of J. Fry and the Essential Atlas), but going ahead with this on your own wasn't the best of decisions. Next time, you might want to give the administrator who deleted the article the benefit of the doubt and bring the matter to his attention first. Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:43, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
Blogs
Hi John! I noticed you guys started using a Wordpress blog a coulpe weeks ago to document goings-on for the wiki. I thought I'd let you know, that Wikia has developed a blog feature that works right on the wiki itself. You can see it in action on the Star Wars Fanon wiki. Just wanted to let you know that you have the option to host it here. Please let me know if you have any questions about it, or want to turn the feature on. Thanks! —Scott (talk) 00:28, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
Re:User talk:Graestan
To be honest, the reason I went ahead with this Wordpress one with full knowledge of the upcoming and now available Wikia feature is that I wanted to limit access to the blog in order to ensure certain things, such as a positive tone. I've noticed how a lot of things in the Star Wars fandom community and on the Wook itself can become infected with vitriol, and I wanted to make something fun and worry-free for users and readers to look at from time to time. My other reason is that I don't want to feel confined to Wikia. I don't exactly trust them. Well, let me rephrase that: I find it all rather convenient that we're being approached in such a manner. Graestan(Talk) 03:54, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Just wanted to make sure the note was passed on to someone actually involved in the project. jSarek 04:35, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
Duloks in the Fact Files?
Hi, jSarek! I seem to remember someone mentioning that you had all or most of the Star Wars Fact Files. Is that true? I recently expanded our article on Duloks, and I was wondering if they get mentioned in any of the fact files about Endor or about individual Ewoks. Would you mind taking a look? I can send you a list of likely files to check if you do in fact have these things. If not, sorry to bother you! ~ SavageBob 05:08, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Star Wars Galaxies
Greetings! I'm a bit new to editing on Wookieepedia, and was recently browsing when I noticed that there was a message at the top of the Star Wars Galaxies page. I was wondering if I could maybe edit and cut up the article as a little project. If I can, what guidelines should I follow exactly?
Thanks! SWMasterObi 22:05, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

Tiss'shar
Hi jS. It looks like you missed one source of Tiss'shar info: Xufal D'uat this guy is in Stock Ships (and the CSWE). I thought I'd let you know so you could add any relevant info to your FA. --Eyrezer 03:51, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Well if it was mine, I'd add Xufal to the infobox notable members, and would add some info on him to the Tiss'shar in the galaxy section. However, it could be argued I go overboard in my treatment of the "X in the galaxy" section. :P --Eyrezer 11:07, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Star Wars Galaxies: you never quite know if they are intentionally making a connection. I just made an article for a female smuggler by the name of Jaxa Lian. She was working with one Captain Loftus who seems to be meant to be the same guy from the NRI Reports. It is just possible this Jaxa is meant to be our friend from the GNN, but there is just no way of knowing! --Eyrezer 10:18, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
- Whoops. In my quick scan over Jaxa's article all I saw was "insisted on aiding the Alliance to Restore the Republic" and made the leap from there :P --Eyrezer 10:57, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

CCG
Hi JS. I created an infobox template for the various expansions of the CCG, and hopefully the TCG and Gaxalies games too. DO you mind having a look at it and seeing if you can think of any more fields that would be relevant/useful? I've only added it to Special Edition Limited so far. I wondered about a field for artists, but I don't know if the artists are ever revealed for the cards. --Eyrezer 04:03, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
- I thought perhaps the field for the actual game should go in the top section rather than the second one. Were there particular versions that came out of the CCG? For instance, does the Limited/Unlimited mean anything? --Eyrezer 04:20, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Voren Na'al
Hey jSarek. Voren Na'al passed the Inq review but we noticed the infobox wasn't sourced so I went ahead and had a go at sourcing it based off the sourcing in the article itself. Since I'm not certain I am correct in the sources, could you check over it and modify as necessary? Also, I'm not sure where his species and sex should be sourced to so I'll leave that to you. Thanks :). Grunny (Talk) 01:48, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Gribbet the Chubbit
Both Gribbet and Chubbits originated in the Star Wars newspaper strip and that is my source. Look at the visual evidence between Gribbet and a Chubbit and then look at Gribbet compared to a Rybet. It's clear Galaxy 6 did not do their homework by properly researching the Star Wars newspaper strip or else they would have properly listed Gribbet as a Chubbit. Instead not knowing what to call him they made something up. This error was then carried over when the Ultimate Alien Anthology used Galaxy 6 as a reference and did not look into it for themselves. That is why Gribbet should be listed as a Chubbit. --Tobar 04:38, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

This might not be in your department but you can tell the person who it is. I wanted to get a picture of a stormtrooper for a userbox, but I misspelled it the first time and got the the secondary search page. I corrected my mistake but i did not get the Stormtrooper page, but and page that has the word stormtrooper in it.

Atlas planets
Hi JS. When making new articles for Atlas planets/systems, can you make sure you add the relevant infobox, including coordinates and region? Thanks, --Eyrezer 10:10, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- The grid reference is called coordinates in the Appendix, so it should be fine to put it in the coordinates field. --Eyrezer 10:27, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- I had thought about doing that but wasn't sure how many coords were already there. If there is only three, it will be very easy to change. --Eyrezer 10:56, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- On second thought, it is already obvious it is a different system because it has letters in in, and this one will by far be the most common. Putting the word grid strikes me as unnecessary. --Eyrezer 10:59, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- It would need to be a quick CT. Suikoman444 is already up to the "Al"s. --Eyrezer 11:09, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- Kiribi system. I've modified the template so that it looks like this. |coordinates= gives the grid, |xyz= gives the other system. --Eyrezer 21:07, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Deleterevision
Hey JSarek. The bureaucrat group will soon have a new right added to it on Wookieepedia, deleterevision. This allows us to hide revisions from public view. This should only be used to hide inappropriate or offensive material such as particularly vulgar username creations, usernames revealing users real names, edits revealing real names or posting real-life images of user, and copyright violations where the page history is too big to restore revisions individually. On page histories and in logs you will see a (show/hide) button on the left hand side, which will look something like this:
(show/hide) 04:04, December 8, 2009 Grunny (Talk | contribs | block) m (9,714 bytes)
Use common sense when it comes to this tool as to when it should be used, as misuse will result in the right being removed and the wrath of sannse :P. Cheers, Grunny (Talk) 04:47, December 11, 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, the right has now been added so you should start seeing the (show/hide) button in histories, diffs and logs :). Cheers, Grunny (Talk) 22:37, December 16, 2009 (UTC)
