User Boxes

I wanted to be fairly self reliant with these boxes, and as you can see I have made one of my own, The Bane One. But to be frank, their layout is annoying me to death...I have tried several times to Re-Align them, but with no avail. If anyone can help, Or knows someone who will help, please leave a message, and I'll tell you what I need doing.... Jagged Fel, the man formerly known as Humorbot (Yo!)20px


Signature

(Click edit above this, because the codes won't show up unless you do) YO! To make a signature that will show up real easy, you need only make a subpage. Create a page called User:Humorbot5/signature or something similar, as long as it has User:Humorbot5 in front of it. That's really important, because if you don't, it will be treated as another article to be deleted. Next, you need to do the actual coding. Do all of it on that page. There are a few things that go into signatures: Your name, which will probably be a link to your page, a tiny picture, logo, or insignia, set at about... 25 pixels, and then something linking to your talk page, which will either be in the subtext (example tags) or supertext (example tags). You can name or color it any way you want. For coloring, use the tags: example (It looks better if you use those nifty hexidecimal codes. Just Google, "hexidecimal codes", find a site, find a hue and its code, and you can input something like #66CD00 which will show up as a more yellow-green color) In order for your signature to show up on a page, use these cool brackets {{}}. Anything inbetween them will be the content of whatever page it is. For example, if I typed "Darth Bane" inbetween them, his entire article would be in the coding! This is very valuable, because you only have to type the coding once and for all. In case something happens, create a backup in a notepad file. Copy the coding there, so you can copy and paste it back if for some odd reason, someone vandalizes your signature or something. (?) Some people, such as Fourdot use a more unique signature, but don't concern yourself with that. For an example, look at my signature page. Merry Christmas!Vladius Magnum

The bad news is, I tried to put the code up for your userbox containers, but it just wouldn't work. Though, there is a user who may be able to help, try Jabbathehuttgartogg, he is pretty good at coding, and if he isn't in, try asking Jaina Solo, and if she's not in, ask Sentry. Why do you need a sig template?

Did you check out the raw signature checkbox? It lets you enter a signature exactly the way you want it. I use it. Will (talk -- contribs) 19:09, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Well, for me can you make one that says: This user is the head of the Friday Night Fight Page. You can also put a picture of Palpatine. For Darth aeyz, Put this user is the Co\Manager of the Friday Night Page, and put a picture of Mas Amedda. For you, I think you should get any picture you want, but the temlplate should say: This user is the official template maker of the Friday Night Fight Page.
