Wookieepedia is the Star Wars encyclopedia that anyone can edit, but we are not a general Star Wars forum nor an all-inclusive trivia site.
In-universe articles are written in past tense and from a neutral point of view. Our Manual of Style and Layout Guide form the basis for writing on Wookieepedia.
All additions to Wookieepedia must be sourced and attributed to a reliable, official source. Fan fiction is welcome on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.
As a registered Wookieepedia user, you are entitled to a user page and a unique signature. Eventually you will also gain the right to vote on community matters.
Remember to be nice to your fellow Wookieepedians. Avoid making personal attacks and engaging in edit wars. Using multiple accounts is not allowed.
Talk pages and forums are part of the public record and comments on them, including your own user talk page, should be left intact. Remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes, like this: ~~~~

New to wikis? Don't worry, we were all new once. Our help pages will get you started, and the Jundland Wastes sandbox can be used for test edits. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—be bold!

File categorization

Remember to properly categorize any files you upload, just like you would categorize any new articles you create. Files without proper categorization, like File:Kern-KSW.jpg, end up in maintenance categories. Please go back and add categories to any files you have uploaded. RG-G1

If you don't have a valid source to back up your assertion, then there's no reason to have that information on the page, so please stop putting it there. At the moment, your opinion regarding the possible inspiration for G-G's colour scheme is just that: your opinion. This is not a fanon wiki. SilverSunbird (talk) 18:49, July 12, 2020 (UTC)

I just received semi confirmation from Matt which backs up my points and I've had an admin vouch for me. 1) The color scheme for the droid. 2) The Droid's name RG-G1 based on the GG1 locomotive. 3) The GG1 ran on the Pennsylvania Railroad, the home state of Dave Filoni. 4) Dave Filoni loves trains.
