Old Republic
Hey. Just want to make sure you saw my comment here. It turns out you were right and I was wrong; StarWars.com does indicate that the logo is the symbol of the Old Republic, which in canon is different from the Galactic Republic (canon now has Old Republic as a separate government, as well as "Old Republic" as a term referencing the Galactic Republic after the rise of the Empire). Did you take the screenshot that you linked to? I would like to upload it to Wookieepedia, but need to know where it came from. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 00:05, September 19, 2014 (UTC)
