Welcome

Gonk123, welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wookieepedia. I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers: [[:File:Thoseabouttojediwesaluteyou.jpg|thumb|180px|New Wookieepedian, Luke Skywalker salutes you]]

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! By the way, you should always sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! — SFH 21:28, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Hooverae

What is this Hooverae crap? You created an article that has absolutely no use to us whatsoever. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:15, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Hooverae is a site with many Uploaded starwars pics. I thought since it had to do with star wars, I wrote an entry for it. (oh, and please don't use any bad language on my Talk Page)Gonk123 17:16, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
    • Do not wipe any talk, its the rules even if you don't like it, the site wasn't the kind of content we want thank you Jedi Dude 17:20, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
      • I didn't know that. Sorry Gonk123 17:22, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

Copyright note

Please note that we are not allowed to copy entries from the Completely Unofficial Star Wars Encyclopedia word-for-word. I had to rewrite your R4-D1 entry to avoid this. And no, before you ask, crediting CUSWE as a source doesn't allow you to copy their entries. Please use your own words when writing entries. Thank you. —Silly Dan (talk) 00:57, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

    • Other people were doing it Gonk123 17:36, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
      • What do you mean, by looking at the history of the page we can see that it was you who made the edit which was copy-write so theres no point in lying about it. Thanks Jedi Dude 17:39, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
        • No, I meant that some other articles looked like they were word-for-word from other sites, so I thought it was okay. Gonk123 17:41, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
          • OK. It really, really isn't, though. —Silly Dan (talk) 00:29, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Custom signatures

  • I saw what you posted on Nebulax's talk page and figured I could help.
  1. Go to "preferences"- it's by the talk and watchlist links
  2. Click the "Enable raw signatures" box so it's checked.
  3. Go to the Nickname box and type in what you want.

Here's the coding for mine: [[User:Atarumaster88|<span style="color:darkgreen;">'''Atarumaster88'''</span>]] [[:File:Jedi_Order.svg|20px]] ([[User talk:Atarumaster88|<span style="color:seagreen;">Audience Chamber</span>]])

The [[User:Atarumaster88 . . . ]] part links it to my user page. The part makes the "Audience Chamber" a superscript. The [[User talk:Atarumaster88. . . ]] goes to my talk page. The [[:File:Jedi_Order.svg . . . ]] puts the pic in my signature. It's official policy that your pic has to be 20px. I hope that helps. Drop me a line on my talk page if you need something else.
