Wookiees-Transparent

Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Please do not remove talk page and forum comments, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask one of our administrators. May the Force be with you!

Fox

You give me an officially licensed source that states that is Commander Fox and then the information can go in the article. Until that time, it is speculation and therefore has no place. Do not re-add that information to the article until you can provide a source. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 21:24, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Fox in Hostage Crisis

Hi, I can see you're new here, so I figured I'd let you know that you need to source information when you add it. Thanks! Dr.Kermit(The Doctor is in) 21:34, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

  • C'mon. Don't make me call an admin on a new user pal. I really don't want to do it, and you really don't want me to do it so...Dr.Kermit(The Doctor is in) 21:39, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
    • Already done. I've asked admins, via IRC to look into the situation. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 21:42, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
      • Ah well. Some folks only learn the hard way. Sometimes an early blocking can actually help new users. It sure did for me.... Dr.Kermit(The Doctor is in) 21:45, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
        • Eyrezer locked the page so no more edits can be made. I've started the topic on the talk page. Any further discussion should go ahead and be directed there. Thanks. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 21:48, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Re: Sorry

  • Its no problem. I wasn't mad at you, I was trying to help you. I personally think that thats Fox too, but its against the policy to add something without a source. Dr.Kermit(The Doctor is in) 01:43, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Blue Squadron

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but Slammer's death does not have a source. The only ones mentioned as having died in Storm Over Ryloth's episode guide are Axe and Tucker. Whatever it may look like in the episode, if it's not stated directly, Slammer isn't known to be one who died. I reverted your edit, and please do not change it back. Thank you. — CC7567 20px-Rex.png (s)talk 20:14, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

  • The episode guides aren't officially regarded as higher canon, but are simply more relied upon because they state things in words, not pictures. I could claim that the clone pilot in that picture on Blue Squadron's page was Tucker, but because he wasn't directly addressed in the episode, I can't say that. (That was an example; I'm not saying it was him.) In this case, for that reason, the episode guides are relied upon more, because anyone can claim anything if the only source is our eyes. Anyway, I changed the dying pilot from "Tucker" to "a member of Blue Squadron", since it's contested specifically who that was dying. —CC7567 20px-Rex.png (s)talk 21:05, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

WookieeProject

Thank you for your interest in The Clone Wars WookieeProject. I've noticed that you've added an individual project that you plan to work on to the list. We'd love to have you participate in the project, but even more as a participant. :) —CC7567 20px-Rex.png (s)talk 03:18, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Re:Signature

The instructions are outlined here. Basically, all you have to do is create a subpage for your user page (User:Fisto-Arsix/sig, for example), with your desired signature. Make sure that your signature follows the signature policy. After creating your signature, go to your preferences, and in the "Signature" field (right under your email address), add {{SUBST:User:(yourname)/sig}}, make sure that "Raw signature" is checked, and save. Please note that when you edit your signature later, it will not change wherever it is across Wookieepedia. The new signature will only appear on the places you post after you edit it. Alternatively, you can remove the "SUBST:" from the preferences to make sure that everywhere has your most recent signature, but I don't recommend it.

Also, on a bit of a random note, I'll take a look at Stak later, but for now, what you need to do is split the article in paragraphs, because walls of text are often rather hard to read. :) (It's not precisely for that reason, but one of them.) Also, if you could run it through a spellcheck/grammar check, it would be helpful. (My apologies if you already intended to do this.) —CC7567 20px-Rex.png (s)talk 00:23, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

One month already

Hello to all the members of WookieeProject: The Clone Wars! Considering the project has just been launched, we've had a great first month, taking three articles to FA status and five articles to GA status. I would like to remind you to please try to do whatever you can to help out; there are still many potential articles that can be taken up as projects, and many of you are already working very hard on them. In the next month, we have a goal to double (if not multiply even more) our current FAs and GAs, because once Season Two starts airing, there will be a ton of more articles that will require attention, and it's best if we get as many as we can out of the way now. Thank you for contributing! Your project head, CC7567 (talk) 20:17, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

TCW Check-in

So that our project doesn't end up like that cruiser.
Hey Fisto-Arsix! This is your monthly check-in from your project head of WookieeProject The Clone Wars. Our Featured Articles haven't seen any additions as of yet, but our Good Articles are steadily growing. I'd like to remind you to check the current projects listing when you have the chance. If you still have the intent on working on any projects (specifically within the next two or three weeks) that you've reserved there, then it's fine. If you no longer have the intent to work on your project(s), please update it so that others have the chance to work on items there. Thanks again! Your project head, CC7567 (talk) 00:34, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

WP:TCW again

Hey Fisto-Arsix. As project head for WP:TCW, I'm trying to get a better idea of who's still interested in participating in our project. If you're still interested in participating, please leave a note on my talk page or contact me in IRC. If you do not respond within a week, I will assume that you are no longer interested in participating. That doesn't mean that your name will be removed from the "Participants" list, but it means that any of your current projects will be removed from the project page so that others have a chance to work on them. Likewise, if you currently have any projects under your belt, I highly encourage you to review them, and if you don't plan on working on them within the next two or three weeks, I recommend reconsidering them. Thanks. Your project head, CC7567 (talk) 05:46, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Hello everyone, this is CC7567 from WookieeProject The Clone Wars. It is currently six months after the project was started, and the number of individual projects is steadily growing. While I am happy that so many of you are writing for the WookieeProject, the majority of articles there have been sitting there for months. Several users even have ten projects or more at the moment, and I am frankly just disappointed at the level of inactivity that is befalling our articles. I understand that many of you have other obligations, and while I respect that, the responsibility falls to you to judge whether or not you're still capable of writing all of these articles, whether in time or in energy. For this reason, I once again urge you to reconsider your current projects. The criteria should be that you have the unrelenting intent to finish all of your projects within the next month. I myself have had to reconsider my own projects on account of real-life time constraints. I do not want to have to set a limit to the number of projects per user, but if it comes down to that, I will, because I do not want to see the project deteriorate and hope that you do not want to either. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 19:18, October 31, 2009 (UTC)
