Radio drama script

Hi, could you check the radio drama script for any info on Bolvan and Hija, the two guys who left the escape pod go in ANH? Their scene is missing from the drama, but may be in the drama script. Thanks. Darth Morrt 11:38, October 29, 2010 (UTC)

  • There is a Commander (probably Daine Jir) with Vader who tells him Leia will die before she tells anything. Vader orders the distress signal and the report to the Senate stating everyone was killed. Vader is approached by 'Trooper' who tells him Tantive IV was jettisoning escape pods during the battle. He notes there are no life-forms on any of them and only one was used tis steering thrusters. Vader replies Leia must have hidden the plans in the pod, and he wants the pod located, even if it means tearing Tatooine apart. This ends the third episode of the radio drama. I would argue the 'Trooper' should probably be Bolvan. If you want more detail or a quote let me know. I'm happy to help. Eniad (Boring conversation anyway.) 21:14, October 29, 2010 (UTC)
    • I think this 'Trooper' is Nahdonnis Praji, but his line differs from the film. Thanks for the help. Darth Morrt 14:45, October 30, 2010 (UTC)

Hi Eniad, here is an other question. In the third episode of the ANH radio drama, the voice of Commander Jir can be heard in scenes that are not in the film. Does the script differentiate them, or they are all addressed simply as 'Commander'. The scenes in question are the followings.

  1. A voice from the Devastator calls the Tantive IV to prepare for inspection.
  2. Troopers bring the captured Antilles to a commander, who says Antilles that he doesn't have guts for fighting. After a trooper reports to the commander that Vader was boarding the ship, the commander brings Antilles to Vader and reports that the plans are not in the main computer—which contradict the film, where Vader is holding Antilles, when a stormtrooper approachs and report "not in the main computer."
