Welcome, Emperor Shorty!Hello and welcome to Wookieepedia. I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source. Please do not remove talk page and forum comments, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —SFH 00:03, 12 June 2009 (UTC) |

- You failed to do so once again. It's very simple. Type this out every time: ~~~~. Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:02, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
- And you've failed to do so yet again. Please take care with that. Three reminders is more than enough. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 23:00, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Re:
It wasn't my intention to "be a jerk" or "treat [you] like crap," just to state the facts. I was harsh in my wording because I felt that a flowery, "nice" answer would've given you false hope. Generally - or always - people who want to become an administrator before they've become proper contributors don't become administrators, because it takes months or years of solid work. As Darth Culator says, "Having rollback, being an administrator, or joining the Inquisitorius or Agricorps is not a privilege. It's a responsibility. It's an unpaid part-time job." Anyway, don't worry about it, and I hope you become a good contributor. (However, it's not a good idea to accuse people of being a "jerk." This could be seen as a Personal Attack, which will get you blocked.) -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 22:57, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Senate Hall thread
- The thread was deleted because it was basically a proposal to ask Wookieepedians to do things they do every day. Nobody editing in good-faith consciously puts errors into their articles, so it's rather pointless to ask them to edit their errors. As for your anon suggestion, it wouldn't be worth it to leave a message on the main page—it'd just detract from the layout of the main page. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 19:40, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
- Also, when posting on other people's talk pages, please make a new section and sign your posts. It's been seen above that you've already been asked to do this repeatedly and, given that the instructions are at the top of the editing window every time you open a talk page, it's not too much to ask. Confusion...
I just looked over your page and though it probably doesn't matter at all I saw that at the beginning you stated to enjoyed Episode V for the Hoth battles and such but in the lower portion you state that your least favorite movie is Episode V. Is this a mistake meant to confuse hapless people such as myself or is it just a typo on your part? Just a little confused....--Darth Niffoc 15:51, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Advice
Wookieepedia is not MySpace. Don't go creating threads where the winner of some competition of yours get a Wookiee-cookie. Also, don't go begging for awards. You have to earn them, and it's not easy. Stay out of the spotlight, and work hard, and if you do that, maybe you'll get one someday. Chack Jadson (Talk) 22:02, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- Well, first off: "Administrators who put down other users who want to become administrators." You're coming dangerously close to WP:NPA with that. You and I both know who you're referring to with that. Remove it, or I will. Now, to your response: like it or not, you were beggging for an award. You don't ask for them, people give them to you, and it takes more work than what you've done so far. As for staying out of the spotlight, well...just with your challenge, Wookieepedia is an encyclopedia first and foremost, not a social networking site. Please remove it. Thank you. Anyway, if you go around patiently editing, perhaps in a couple of years you'll be an administrator. Chack Jadson (Talk) 22:13, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- I would recommend that you take a look at Wookieepedia policies before you begin editing. Seeing that you only have 18 mainstream edits and 54 userpage edits, that's not productive. Once you contribute more (not userpage wise), make constructive edits and show your a dedicated Wookieepedian, you will be given a cookie for your efforts :) JangFett Talk 22:19, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- You think I was joking? I wasn't. Remove the stuff about disliking people who put wanna-be admins down. Chack Jadson (Talk) 22:32, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- Well, you should check out Wookieepedia:Manual of Style, Wookieepedia:Layout Guide, Wookieepedia:Blocking policy, Wookieepedia:Editing FAQ, and, in general Category:Policies on Wookieepedia. Chack Jadson (Talk) 22:48, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

- Asking for an award is a surefire way not to get one. Others have said other things far more eloquently than I could have, so I'll leave you with that nugget of truth. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 15:40, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
WP:TCW
Shorty, I've noticed the "Recruiting now" section on your user page for WookieeProject:The Clone Wars, and suggest that you remove it. Users who are interested in being a member of WP:TCW are free to sign up without being recruited, and being "good at editing Wookieepedia" is entirely subjective, and not for you to decide or call for. Please, consult the project leader before posting anything else such as this.
Also, you've mislinked the project twice. You'll want to fix that. Darth Trayus 30px (Trayus Academy) 22:28, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- The link in your userbox is still incorrect. Darth Trayus 30px (Trayus Academy) 22:41, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- I don't quite see how you're missing it, since you obviously went there yourself to join, but it's Wookieepedia:WookieeProject The Clone Wars, with the alternative shortcut of WP:TCW. CC7567 (talk) 22:50, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- I fixed it for you. Please, check all links you make before you save, so items such as that don't end up in Wanted Pages. Darth Trayus 30px (Trayus Academy) 22:58, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

Re:preview button
Before you save, their is a button called "Preview" right next to the save button. Any page that you edit has that button. Make sure you use it to double check your work so you won't clog up the recent changes. The preview will show you what your changes will look like, but nothing is saved yet. Re:
The {{Delete}} tag was placed on your SH forum because it is nonsense. Please don't go in and remove any article links from their respective categories. JangFett Talk 17:10, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Image Quality tag
Hello, Emperor Shortly. Please be aware that the "Imagequality" tag should really only be used on image articles, not on character articles or anything similar, which is why your edits to the Toy Dampner article are being reverted. Toprawa and Ralltiir 17:12, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
