Welcome, Duchess Jade!Hello and welcome to Wookieepedia. I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

RE: Editing User Page
- Just thought I'd field this question. In order to add a User infobox to your user page, please go here and copy and paste the text in the box under the Usage headline into your user page. Then you can edit any of the fields with the proper information. Also, the fields beginning with c (c1, c2, c3) allow you to effect the color of the infobox with six digit hexadecimal color codes (see here for color codes and the colors they represent). Hope this helps. If you have more questions, drop me a line on my talk page. OLIOSTER (talk) 03:08, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
- No problem. Also, make sure to sign all posts with four tildes (~~~~). OLIOSTER (talk) 03:56, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
RE: Editing User Page
- I see that you already have the infobox on your page. So all you need to do is put in the information you want next to the equals sign following the words and it should all check out. For example: |birthplace=Earth. Jedisniper130 21:12, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

Satine
I see you that you put on your user page that you are currently working on the Satine Kryze article. I would like make it clear that you are not working the Satine article as long as RC 1138 has the {{Inuse}} tag on the page. Failure to heed the tag can result in a block, so while that tag is up there, before you do anything to the article, make sure you run it by RC 1138 first. - JMAS
Hey, it's me! 01:39, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
- I did go to the history of Satines page, and check who was working on it. I thought it was someone called RC-1138 who was editing it, and since on his user page it says that feel free to edit any page he's editing, I thought it would be ok. I put it on my user page becuase there were a few more spelling and grammer mistakes that I wanted to correct, not because I was planning to do a big edit. But, I see your point, and from now on I'll make sure to ask when before I edit any page with that has that inuse sign on it. Thanks for telling me anyway. —Unsigned comment by Duchess Jade (talk • contribs)
- My mistake, it is RC, not CC. Since he did put that on his user page, my apologies. Be aware though, that is a very unusual occurrence. Any other {{Inuse}} tag you see, you won't want to take that same liberty. - JMAS
Hey, it's me! 02:25, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, if I see the inuse tag again, I'll make sure that I have the OK of the editer first, before continuing. Again, thanks for telling me —Unsigned comment by Duchess Jade (talk • contribs)
- I'm guessing you are a newer user, so I'll offer a couple more tips. This is your talk page, so you have liberty here, but on pretty much all other talk pages, whether article talk pages or user talk pages, you don't want to start an entire new section each time you reply. If you're starting a new topic, then yes, create a new heading, but otherwise you'll want to reply under the same heading as the topic. One final thing: you always need to sign every post you make to any talk page/forum page with ~~~~. - JMAS

Yeah, I made the headline and found out later that I made a completly new section. I seem to always forget to sign my posts; but I'll be sure to keep your advice in mind.Duchess Jade 21:01, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

- We're allowed to have up to two links, for some reason. I can have the symbol before the links, or after, or in the middle. You can go with only one, though, if you want.—BobaFett1 Bounties collected

QOTD
Hey. When voting on QOTDs, please make sure to update the vote count in the header for each quote when you cast your vote. This makes it easier to tell which quotes are close to passing/failing (using the table of contents) and also saves time for other users, who have to come in behind you and fix the vote counts if you don't do so. Thanks. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 01:13, March 31, 2010 (UTC)
