Wookiees-Transparent

Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —Trip391 (talk) 07:01, June 17, 2013 (UTC)

FYI

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wookieepedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Wikisigbutton located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! Trip391 (talk) 07:01, June 17, 2013 (UTC)

AT-ST

No one went "behind your back", so don't be so aggressive (or state "You really should stop), because that could also come off as a personal attack. Your edit to the All Terrain Scout Transport has been reverted because your information is wrong. The source says that it was mentioned in Sculpting a Galaxy: Inside the Star Wars Model Shop, and seeing as how you didn't state what "my ILM book" is for that to be checked, the information will stay. If you continue to add unverified information to the article, it will be reverted, and may be considered vandalism if you persist. Trip391 (talk) 07:01, June 17, 2013 (UTC)

Talk pages

Please do not remove messages from talk pages or other discussion pages. All messages are part of the public record and must remain visible. Thank you for your cooperation. Trip391 (talk) 07:10, June 21, 2013 (UTC)

I was not aware that deleting messages from my own talk page was a breach of site etiquette but I can understand how that would be frowned upon considering the transaparent nature of the site. Noted, however please refrain from your implication that I removed messages from other members' talk pages as I have not, nor ever would do that. As far as "cooperation" in terms of you and I there will be none and I would appreciate it if you would cease harrassing me while pulling the "goody-two-shoes" routine. A mod has been contacted regarding your indignant behavior of keeping content on the Scout Walker article that is not accurate after I've found and provided a much more credible source for the content in dispute than the one you used to bolster your case. I see other contributors have been having issues with you as well so I would caution you to not insist you are always the individual with the most credible information, in our instance you have surely been amiss. Thank you for acknowledging my wishes and have a good day.

  • The message about talk pages is a general template, and was not claiming you deleted content from others' talk pages. The fact that you will not cooperate with others is not a good sign, especially since I have been cooperating with you (I searched for a while trying to get to the bottom of this problem), and didn't just revert your edits, I told you why, but you had no desire to reason with anyone. In regards to the All Terrain Scout Transport, you never provided a source or a link. I did not have access to an esteemed magazine such as Cinemax, and didn't know you did, so as best I could tell, the information that was actually sourced was correct. It may have been a mistake on whoever originally placed it there (back in 2011, before my time), but sourced information trumps unsourced information. Think about it, which would you believe more: something which has been sourced, or something which hasn't? I believe that whoever put the information about Bill George and the AT-ST was probably mistaken, and confused that with the fact that he made his own model of a Y-wing, which wound up getting him a job at ILM, and was put in Return of the Jedi. You must realize, however, you did not handle yourself properly at all, and personally attacking a user (which is why you were blocked) is uncalled for when you disagree with them, or content, and does not make people see your way any faster. • After reading the magazine page which you provided, it appears that members of ILM, including Joe Johnston, did indeed design/create the AT-ST, and the article has been changed. In the future, try to be more civil towards others. No one is out to get you, and had you not blown things out of proportion, this would have been resolved much sooner.
