- Well basically it all comes down to fantasy vs sci-fi. I believe SW is fantasy and part of its allure is that, as I think I've said, it doesn't matter how things work, simply that they do. That way, you can just lay back and enjoy the action, rather than trying to understand the techno-babble like on Star Trek. - and I suggest you take note of poll tampering. The poll as to whether it would be Destroyer or Star Destroyer was changed mid-vote to also removing Attack Cruiser. As that was not part of the original options, it is invalid. I don't get it...
Is it honestly so monumental a feat to just let it go? You're the only person crying foul on that poll change. The obvious conclusion is that the rest of the community doesn't mind. This isn't about fighting "Saxtonism" or however you want to justify your actions, friend...it's about maintaining a consensus. The community has already made it's decision. I'm sure your skills can be better applied to another aspect of the site. Focus on improving something instead of causing so much discord.
