"Lola" vs. "Soda"
"Weird Al" Yankovic's song "Yoda" is a parody of The Kinks' 1970 song "Lola," as can be confirmed on Weird Al's site here. jSarek 05:03, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
Re:Signature
Hey Nezzera. To make yourself a signature you have to first create a signature subpage, such as User:Darth Nezzera/signature (I would recommend just clicking on that link I made and using it). For a complete list of Wiki colors that will work in your name, check out this link → [[Wiki Web Colours. Then, once you've managed to create your signature subpage, you have to go up to the "My Preferences" link at the top, and under the "User Profile" tab in the box next to "Nickname", copy and paste the following: {{subst:User:Darth Nezzera/signature}} . Once that's done, typing four tildes (~~~~) should/will produce the signature you have created :) Cheers, Greyman(Paratus) 20:17, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Nobu articles
Those Nobu articles that you put for Speedy deletion aren't really qualified for a {{delete}} tag. However, if you don't think they should remain, you should mark them for Trash Compactor deletion to give the community a chance to decide their fate. Just FYI. - JMAS 01:10, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
- Please finish what you began by putting the Nobu ship articles up for TC. When you add the {{tc}} template to an article, it is required of you to create a Trash compactor page for each article you tagged. As the {{tc}} template clearly states, "In order to complete the trash compactor process, please create a TC discussion page so that the community can decide this article's fate. Otherwise, this message will be removed." After an appropriate amount of time, myself or another administrator will remove the {{tc}} templates from the said articles if no TC discussion pages have been started. Re: Redirecting
Hey Nezzera. If I understand your question correctly, you're interested to know how/when to redirect an article? Ok, well let's say, for example, you create an article called Shadow (ship), but there is an article already made that is called Shaadooww (ship) which is the incorrect spelling. All you would do is blank the article which you want to redirect and put #REDIRECT [[Shadow (ship)]] in the edit screen. Once you save it, the Shaadooww (ship) article will redirect to the correct main space page. I hope that answers your question, Greyman(Paratus) 05:05, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, here's an example. This will show you the edit screen for the redirect of the name "Nomi" which redirects to Nomi Sunrider. Likewise, this shows you what a redirect looks like once it's saved. If you just use the preview button, it won't look right, but once you save it it's all gold ;) If you have any other questions, you know where you can reach me. Tense
Please note that according to WP:MOS, all in-universe articles should be written in past tense. Cheers, —Silly Dan (talk) 04:39, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
RE: Title
Hello there Darth Nezzera, the Aurebesh title on my user page is actually an image I made. To make one you need an Aurabesh font, I think there is a link to the one I used on the Aurabesh page. When you've got the font you'll need to make an image out of the text. I hope that answers your question. --Jedimca0(Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 15:12, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- To turn it into your title you'll have to use the {{Title}} template. --Jedimca0(Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 19:10, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
IMDb
We link to it because it contains a lot of concentrated information on movie/TV shows. But since its content is user-submitted, it is unreliable, and therefore not a good source for facts about future movies/TV shows. It's true that people involved in productions often update the IMDb themselves, but you can't tell who did what. Adamwankenobi 03:25, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Merge
Hello, just reminding you, when you merge two articles don't forget to take the merge template of the page(s) - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 08:27, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
