3DHey, I noticed your comment on the forum about the 3D. Note the date; this is just the annual Wookieepedian April Fools joke.--Doctor Kermit(Complain.) 02:56, April 1, 2011 (UTC) User page infoHello Darth Needham. I was going to write a nice instructional, but the code wasn't coming out very well. Some advice: go to my userpage (or anyone else's) and click "edit". DO NOT actually edit the page, but if you click edit then you can look at the codes that make the page, and then copy it to yours, tailoring it to however you like it. If you use mine, you'll see that some of the userboxes are defaults, whereas others are customized. Just play around with copies of that code and you should be fine. Let me (or any administrators) know if you need help. I hope that helps! Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 00:08, April 3, 2011 (UTC) Please stopPlease stop adding pointless and incorrectly placed and formatted links, and removing useful red links from articles. These edits serve no purpose and are actually lowering the general quality of each individual article. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir 03:08, April 15, 2011 (UTC)
Rawwrr!Hey there! Yeah, you're totally free to tackle Ralrracheen if you want. If you're missing any of the novels, I can help you out; he has a very small role in everything save for Heir to the Empire, in which he plays a sizeable role. I can also get you his Star Wars Encyclopedia entry if you want, and Borsk Fey'lya is the guy to ask for Fact File info. Hooray! Menkooroo 01:58, April 21, 2011 (UTC)
WP:POINTHey Darth Needham. While I understand your stance on the ongoing CT thread, please do not nominate yourself to be an EC member just to prove a point. Nominations like that will not be received well by the community, for they're not nominations; they're just exploitations of the nomination system. I would recommend that you become more familiar with all of Wookieepedia's policies before continuing to contribute. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 20:31, April 30, 2011 (UTC)
DisruptionThe only reasons you would attempt to nominate Shard as a CA are if you are deliberately violating the rules for the purpose of disrupting the wiki, or you are a complete idiot. Either way, if you do not cease your disruptive behavior, I will block you for the good of the community. Consider this your final warning. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 23:27, May 4, 2011 (UTC) The KoonHey there! It appears that you've simply made a spelling error. You put "TCM" instead of "TCW" in the filename. Fix it and it should work out fine. :) Menkooroo 04:51, May 20, 2011 (UTC) Got your backHi Needham. I just wanted to follow-up on the thread on the Knowledge Bank about Kashyyyk. I've just posted something about NaruHina being unconstructive when you were asking a simple question (I really hate it when people go on tirades about Lucas not respecting the EU, like he did). I also want to thank you for your kind word about my theory on Force abilities (my answer to the question on why Luke couldn't sense Alderaan, but why Jaina/Jacen could sense Carida). Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 17:53, May 30, 2011 (UTC) HiyaIf you want to say something to me, then leave me a message on my talk page, please. Karen Traviss did not make "mistakes" and she has admitted this herself. she overwrote continuity to suit her own stories because she saw Star Wars as an "organic" story that would just be bogged down if they followed prior continuity completely. That Star Wars has a lot of continuity focused around main charcaters is not a problem with the universe, it is rather a challenge to the authors to keep them in character and their histories straight. Karpyshyn referring to Vapaad in DB:PoD was a mistake, overwriting Boba Fett's entire psychological history was not. And, even then, whereas Karpyshyn apologized and fixed the error, Traviss insulted the people who pointed out continuity errors in her works. This aggrivated the problem further and eventually her flippancy on the issue created her vehement detractors, the "Talifans" (which, needless to say, just worsened it further still). Note that this argument has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of her actual prose, but is entirly based upon her disrespect for the works of previous authors and her disregarding their contributions for the sake of her own plot. That's an entirely different school of poor writing. NaruHina Talk
Yo needhamHey I was just wonderin' do you have Skype or MSN so we can chat over the summer(Take a guess who this is. It ain't to hard to figure out) Really not sure who this is, it could be joey, charly, Menkooroo, or someone elsa. Darth Needham 19:20, June 3, 2011 (UTC) Hint, I didn't show up to school yesterday and I talk to you about swtor Geek42 Bengy! Hey glad you made a account! I'll give you my cell number on your talk okay. Darth Needham 19:44, June 3, 2011 (UTC) To make your user page all fancy like go to this page for help - Wookieepedia:Editing FAQ -, if you have any problems just ask for some help. (925-550-6473) Darth Needham 19:51, June 3, 2011 (UTC) I tried calling you and went into voice mail :P Geek42 Batteries are charging, but thats the right number. By the way do you want any help on your user page set up? Darth Needham 20:33, June 3, 2011 (UTC) Your phone is still dead 0_0 Anyways um do you know if I can put pictures on my page that aren't from this website because my cousin got one of his friends to draw a picture of me as a Jedi and I found it awesome. Geek42 I think you can, however I don't know how, however I can set up user boxes and a info box for you. Darth Needham 21:30, June 3, 2011 (UTC) Hey Ben. They released another new trailer for swtor. It's a raid trailer. It's on Belsavis and an ancient alien empire locked technology and people. In the trailer you can see Rakatan statues and the players fighting Red Rakatans. My guess the Infinite Empire. Wow really cool. By the way I checked Malgus'es page and the Sith Pure blood was his master. Darth Needham 20:17, June 9, 2011 (UTC) I was just wondering can I have my Kotor II back? Kinda want to beat it. Like Republic Commandos had it for years...just never got around to beating it. Like how it took my like 6-7 years for me to beat Kotor. Ya sure, but I'm close to beating it again with extreme force powers, but if you want it soon I can drop it off when ever. Darth Needham 15:59, June 23, 2011 (UTC) WP:SIVHey Needham. Please note the Single-issue voters policy—the reason why your votes have been struck lately. Imperators II(Talk) 20:57, June 6, 2011 (UTC)
RalrraHey there. The Wookiee barn-burner is largely over, and Ralrracheen still needs a lot of work. I didn't actually sign on to be a co-author of the article; I was just trying to guide you along in the process of writing him so that you could make an attempt at it yourself. If you still want to write him, I recommend trying your hand at some shorter articles first that would end up being Good Article nominations rather than Featured Article nominations. It's a really good way to get your feet wet and to learn the ropes of artice writing. Menkooroo 14:29, June 8, 2011 (UTC) PS-29-3Hello Darth Needham, I would like to inform you that, to the sum of my knowledge, PS-29-3's P & T is not lacking in any way, but there's simply just too limited info about him to really say anything about his personality. For reference, check out the P & T in other quality articles, such as my good articles Hudiss, Dainsom and NT-311. Hanzo Hasashi 17:03, June 8, 2011 (UTC)
LinkingHey, DN! I think it's great that you're going around adding links to articles. There are a few things to keep in mind as you do so, though. First, make sure that if you link something in an article, it hasn't been linked to already. Things should be linked a maximum of three times: once in the introduction, once in the infobox, and once in the body. Second, when linking colors, be sure you follow the system set up by the original author. Some people link every color separately, but others (such as myself) link the word color the first time a color is mentioned and leave the rest alone. This is done by typing, say, [[Color/Legends|green]]. Feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions, and keep up the hard work. :) ~Savage
Barn-burnerNeedham, although I'm glad you want to participate in the barn-burner, I can guarantee that the dual-phase lightsaber will be well over 250 words and should not be put up on the CAN. If you want, try and write out the article and see how long it is before nominating it, because in its current state, it is nowhere near what a promoted article should be like. MeterHey, Darth Needham, just to let you know, for any mentioning of "meter," please link it to [[Imperial standard meter|meters]]. The article you're currently linking "meter" to is a redirect to the Imperial standard meter article. Thanks, JangFett (Talk) 00:00, July 24, 2011 (UTC)
Reciprocating quad blasterLike I told you before, Needham, you need to work on smaller articles that have only one or two sources. Also, you need to look at other articles. It should be obvious that an article like that should be over 250 words, and could be over 1000 when it's all done. Please, think before you nominate an article in the future. Before nominating an article, you should have edited it at least a dozen times and increased it by a great amount. Kilson(Let's have a chat) 00:41, July 24, 2011 (UTC) Knowledge BankHey saw your answer on Forum:KB:Switch on/off and you mentioned something about reading about a similar instance in Path of the Jedi. Im curious, could you be more specific?Supershadow3 (talk) 04:23, July 1, 2012 (UTC) Hey Ben, I know this is last notice but how big your is your jedi costume? While I have my own; My nephew might be going with me to SDCC and he'd like to be dressed up as one if he's going. So if you can call me or something as soon as possible if you can and if you can't don't sweat it. WP:KOTORAs of 0:00 UTC (8:00 PM EST), I have assumed responsibilities for leading this project, due to my predecessor Cylka's inactivity. Wherever she is, I wish her well in her endeavors, and should she come back, I will gladly turn over leadership back to her. Over the next few weeks, I look forward to reviewing more articles and also wish to get more KotOR-related projects off the ground, and look forward to moving forward to bettering this project and ultimately Wookieepedia. Thank you for your continued service to Wookieepedia.—Jedi Kasra ("Indeed.") 01:10, December 20, 2012 (UTC) CT:Re-opening TOR and video game canonI thought you may wish to participate in Forum:CT:Re-opening TOR and video game canon seeing as you were involved in the consensus reached at Forum:CT:TOR and video game canon. --Gnarscien (talk) 16:27, November 17, 2013 (UTC) |
