Hello Darth Needham. I was going to write a nice instructional, but the code wasn't coming out very well. Some advice: go to my userpage (or anyone else's) and click "edit". DO NOT actually edit the page, but if you click edit then you can look at the codes that make the page, and then copy it to yours, tailoring it to however you like it. If you use mine, you'll see that some of the userboxes are defaults, whereas others are customized. Just play around with copies of that code and you should be fine.     • Yeah it looks like you have enough edits to vote. You just need fifty mainspace edits, "mainspace" simply meaning actual articles (as opposed to talk pages, forums, etc). I'm not sure what you mean by "Vector" --- do you mean Hero's Trial or The Unifying Force? But in Tyrant's Test, Ralrracheen is mentioned just one time. Chewbacca is on Kashyyyk guiding Lumpawarrump through his coming-of-age Hrrtayyk ceremony and finds out that Han has been kidnapped by the Duskhan League. He prepares to leave Kashyyyk and go rescue Han. Ralrracheen sends a message to Leia, who is the Chief of State of the New Republic, on Chewbacca's behalf, letting her know that Chewie is going to stage a rescue attempt. Ralracheen doesn't appear in the book; he is only mentioned by Mallatobuck. The exact text is: [Has there been any further news?] [The grids are silent. The misfortune that has befallen our friend is not yet public knowledge. Ralrracheen has sent a message to the Princess on your behalf, but there has been no reply.] The first speaker is Chewie and the second is Malla. I hope that helps.   • What I recommend is waiting until after you've written the entire biography before you write "Personality and traits" and "Skills and abilities." Whenever I'm reading through books 'n comics 'n sourcebooks 'n stuff for Biography info, I always make separate notes when I come across something that's good P&t/S&a info. So, if you've written the entire biography, you know that you've collected all possible material for P&t/S&a. I can tell you right now that the biography still has a long way to go, especially in terms of describing and detailing his role in Heir to the Empire and at Chewbacca's funeral in Hero's Trial.   • Hey there! I want to encourage you to keep improving the article yourself. Unfortunately, it's still at the point where any additions I made would be large rewrites and overhauls. Familiarize yourself with Wookieepedia's sourcing policy --- all of the info you put in there needs to be referenced. Check out other featured articles and notice the superscripted numbers in square brackets that end every paragraph. Looking at other featured articles will also give you an idea of the kind of detail that should be in an article. Look at Salporin for a good example of detail given on Leia's trip to Kashyyyk, and look at Lumpawaroo for an example of detail necessary for Chewbacca's funeral. Menkooroo 05:00, May 10, 2011 (UTC)

If you want to say something to me, then leave me a message on my talk page, please. Karen Traviss did not make "mistakes" and she has admitted this herself. she overwrote continuity to suit her own stories because she saw Star Wars as an "organic" story that would just be bogged down if they followed prior continuity completely. That Star Wars has a lot of continuity focused around main charcaters is not a problem with the universe, it is rather a challenge to the authors to keep them in character and their histories straight. Karpyshyn referring to Vapaad in DB:PoD was a mistake, overwriting Boba Fett's entire psychological history was not. And, even then, whereas Karpyshyn apologized and fixed the error, Traviss insulted the people who pointed out continuity errors in her works. This aggrivated the problem further and eventually her flippancy on the issue created her vehement detractors, the "Talifans" (which, needless to say, just worsened it further still). Note that this argument has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of her actual prose, but is entirly based upon her disrespect for the works of previous authors and her disregarding their contributions for the sake of her own plot.   • By "people make mistakes," and your accusations of Lucas Bashing, I thought you were extending our chat into the general authors, so I picked the shining beacon example of what I was talking about. As far as the Han Solo Trilogy alone is concerned, it was written in 1997, so that still wasn't a mistake as sources like KOTOR were published afterward (they actually made the mistake and ran with it :) ). I still don't condone that, but BioWare made plenty of an effort to reference other elements of the universe and keep it cohesive, while authors like KT ignore canon. That's my point. An example of handling the author's role in an EU done very well is Elegos A'Kla. Zahn created the Camaasi species, then Stackpole made this character for I, Jedi. A little while later, Zahn wrote the second book in his series and included this character with the same personality as established by Stackpole. This is what it means to write in a continuity. Hey Ben. They released another new trailer for swtor. It's a raid trailer. It's on Belsavis and an ancient alien empire locked technology and people. In the trailer you can see Rakatan statues and the players fighting Red Rakatans. My guess the Infinite Empire.

If you still want to write him, I recommend trying your hand at some shorter articles first that would end up being Good Article nominations rather than Featured Article nominations. Linking

Hey, DN! I think it's great that you're going around adding links to articles. There are a few things to keep in mind as you do so, though. First, make sure that if you link something in an article, it hasn't been linked to already. Things should be linked a maximum of three times: once in the introduction, once in the infobox, and once in the body. Second, when linking colors, be sure you follow the system set up by the original author. Some people link every color separately, but others (such as myself) link the word color the first time a color is mentioned and leave the rest alone.   • I agree with your way of sourcing, however when I'm linking userboxes I always link it to the actual color because its referring to characteristics of someone or something, I also do this if it's describing something/one in the article.     • Just a followup; I don't want to discourage you from linking, but if you see that someone has used the [[Color/Legends|green]] style, even if it's in an infobox, you have to respect that decision.   • yes I completely agree with you on that I don't ever change something like that, however I find that people are always simply putting credit and not Galactic Credit Standard, so in the case of a redirect I will always change it even if I start A edit war over it, but I doubt that will happen. (by the way I wan't to try something on my talk page, I want to see what people think I look like my age, that kind of thing, because for some reason when I see people's tags I come to decisions without reading their bio., so if you could post on that and spread the word that would be great).     • Linking to disambiguation or redirects is frowned upon as a general rule. We do have a color article which is linked to in most recent FA/GAs because it's more proper to do so. You incorrectly linked "red" in one of my own GAs, and I had to revert that edit. In the future, please pay close attention to your linking, especially if you're editing in promoted articles, such as the article I linked above (Vindican).   • As these matters have since been brought to my attention as an administrator, allow me to reinforce what JangFett is trying to get through to you, Darth Needham. Jang is correct in that when pipelinking something, the entire word should be enclosed within the brackets for basic technical markup purposes. In other words, [[Imperial standard meter|meters]], not [[Imperial standard meter|meter]]s. This is a minor thing, but if you're going to make an effort to pipelink things, you should do so correctly. Continuing to do it the incorrect way, especially after someone is trying to explain to you the correct way, is not constructive to this wiki. This shouldn't require a formal warning notice on my part, so please take some time to heed this advice see that you correct this bit and not prolong this issue.
