Welcome and things

Yes, Welcome to Wookieepedia, Jenny. I hope you enjoy your stay and become a contributor. Not to be a stickler or anything, but if I may point out one teeny tiny little typo on your user page though. Shouldn't it be "three-way duel"? ;) -- Riffsyphon1024 03:33, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Thank you so much for noticing that!!! :) I'll correct it right now!! I'm not sure if this is where I should reply, since I'm new and couldn't find another way :(

  • Yes this is your talk page for replying to other users. You will get a notification when someone comments here and you follow the link to here. You can then either reply here or on their talk page. And get out into the Wookiee and explore! :) -- Riffsyphon1024 05:48, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Oh!!! I see!! Thank you so much for the help :) And please don't be shy to tell me if you spot a typo or a grammar/ spelling error. One learns a lot from mistakes =) Darth Jenny Rose
    • I'm planning on adding some articles regarding some novels, and fully SW related, but the best way to learn the how the features work, is to test in my own profile :) Darth Jenny Rose 19:11, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

  • I have a question, I want to develope and Obidala page, not about fan stories, but about the canon information that sorta supports it (like in novelization of RotS, the arrival on Padme's appartment to inform her Anakin has turn to Dark Side). Is it possible to make a page such as this? Thanks! Darth Jenny Rose 19:48, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
    • Perhaps you could make a page under Category:Star Wars culture? The whole Obidala thing is a pretty major theme among fan-faction writers, so I guess you could get away with that (some other Wookieepedians may disagree though). Otherwise, you could just mention it in the "Behind the scenes" sections of the Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padme Amidala pages. Have fun! --Azizlight 21:31, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
      • Oh, that sounds good. My idea is solely quote canon stuff and give some explanations. Now one thing... how do I put it under that category? Thanks a lot! Darth Jenny Rose 21:37, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
        • Create the new page by clicking Obidala, and at the bottom of the article, type "[[Category:Star Wars culture]]". --Azizlight 23:19, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
          • Thank you SO much. It seems I'll have to wait to see if it gets aproved or not :-/ Darth Jenny Rose 23:51, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
            • At any rate, you can begin working on it on a temporary subpage -- User:DarthJenny/Obidala. If it gets approved, then you can move the page to Obidala, and if not, then you can just keep the subpage for your own reference, though I'm sure people will still read it if you link it from your userpage. Good luck! --Azizlight 23:58, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
              • Oh now that's good! Thanx for the idea. One thing though, is there a code to indicate "under construction"? Because it will take time to gather all the quotes, even for my own subpage. Thanks a lot :) Darth Jenny Rose 00:02, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
                • Um, sort of... you can type {{Inuse}} if you'd like to work on the article on your own, or {{tl|Incomplete}} or {{Expansion}} if you'd like to encourage other users to assist. Hope that helps :) --Azizlight 00:16, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
                  • I just started it and I'm gathering all the sources and quotes. Is there any place where I can find Lucas' interviews regarding the movies? The article about the love triangle was in the force.net but I cannot find it. Thanks a lot for the support and help :)
                    • Your article is looking good! Sorry, I'm not sure where that George Lucas interview is. --Azizlight 04:44, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
                      • No problem, I'll try to retrack it somehow :9 Darth Jenny Rose 04:47, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Aaah

Aaaah, Metallica meets Star Wars... awesome! --Azizlight 05:36, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks you so much! :) DJ

    • Your filmwork looks good (although I need a better computer to run them properly). Have you thought of using Holst's Planet Suite for a soundtrack? Aparently this piece was what Lucas recommended John Williams use for inspiration when composing the score for the original Star Wars. Carl Orff's Carmina Burana is another great piece -the opening was sampled by some techno artist a few years back (I can't remember who, though). Good luck with your work:)Tocneppil 22:44, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
      • Thank you so much! :) I never heard of that soundtrack, but as well will look for it and give it a try. Thanks a lot! :) Darth Jenny Rose 22:52, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
        • They're both worth tracking down. Any library or music store with a classical section will have them (they might even be old enough to have their copyrights lapsed into public domain!)Tocneppil 22:55, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Just saying hi

Hi, Jenny. I feel like personally saying "hi" and welcome you to Wookieepedia, even if it's a little bit late. Have fun around here. Do you know if anyone else from BH has come here? - TopAce 00:51, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

    • No problem, my friend! :) No, I don't know anyone else who is here :-/ Darth Jenny Rose 02:09, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
