Slave Leia costume

Hey Cylka. I saw you placed Slave Leia costume on probation as per the Inqs meeting. I think I've addressed all the source tags. Carth Onasi

Hey Cylka, I noticed that Carth is under review because of the update tag from the Mandalorian Wars Timeline Entry. I figured I might as well fix this, but I was wondering what exactly needs to be added from the Entry. After watching the Timeline again, I haven't really noticed much to add other than some new images which should probably be included. I was hoping you could tell me what the Inqs have decided need to be added so I can hop to it and preserve one of our Project's most important articles. Thanks! Freedon Nadd

I see that it has previously appeared, but that was in 2006. I could be mistaken about this, but I was under the impression that articles that appeared on the Main Page prior to the inception of the Inquisitorius and later restored to FA status were allowed to appear on the Main Page again. Canderous Ordo

Hey Cylka, after getting a pre-nom review from Kasra he suggested I ask you for one too in order to speed up the nom process. I know you're really busy, but it'd be great if you could take a look at it sometime. Also, we were wondering what your thoughts were on Kasra's point about whether the article should be moved to Mandalore the Preserver or not. Kasra's point is at the beginning of his review on my page. I always thought that the titles were only used if we didn't know the Mandalore's real name, as Boba, Jango and Fenn Shysa are referred to by their names. Thanks!   • Actually there is one more thing I was hoping you could help out with. I hate to bother you with this when you already have so much to do, but the users I usually go to for screenshots have been completely swamped for quite a while, so if it's not too much trouble I was hoping you could get some images of Canderous in combat. Preferably from KOTOR 1 and with his custom repeater. If that's asking too much or would take too much time don't worry about it, it's not urgent and I'm sure I'll find something eventually. Viscount

Thank you for bringing these issues to my attention. I didn't list the number of Republic soldiers in the infobox mainly because we have no idea how many there actually were aboard the ship, but I see your logic, as we do know there were at least a dozen. With regards to the complement of Aureks, I didn't mention them in the article because the players only receive them after the battle has began and the source does not clarify that they launched from the Viscount. However, on re-reading it, I notice that it actually states that they launch from "the ship", which infers that they were still on the Viscount. Finally, I sourced the date to KOTOR because I needed to source it from somewhere and I thought that KOTOR would be acceptable because the Raid on the Sith Embassy FA sources KOTOR to say that that event occured in 3,956 BBY, and the game places the Capture of Revan as appearing about a year before that. Admittadly, while playing KOTOR, I have never noticed it to give the exact dates for things, so this was very naive of me.

I am very glad that you have brought these concerns to me, I always try to ensure that I include all relevant information from the correct sources when I am writing articles, so I am very disappointed with myself for my failure in this instance. This was my first ever non-character nom and in the future, I will ensure that I take an even greater degree of care, to ensure that I don't make any mistakes like these. I would like to thank you again for bringing these issues to my attention, I feel that this is a blow to my credibility as a user, and I can promise that it will not happen again. --Jinzler 21:15, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

  • Would you be able to help me with the date sourcing please? I won't have access to my copy of the NEC for about a month and I don't want to remove the nom. I was basically wondering if you could let me know of an event from the KOTOR storyline which the NEC dates to 3,958 BBY, so that I can then use that and state that KOTOR says the Capture of Revan occurred a year earlier.
