Wookiees-Transparent

Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —CC7567 (talk) 05:33, September 13, 2016 (UTC)

Re: Clone Wars Images

Hey Collin. It's great that you're overseeing a project for the Clone Wars on namuwiki! Thanks for asking about using our images. Per Wookieepedia policy, our site does not own the copyrights to any images from Star Wars content. That means that visitors to our site (like yourself) are welcome to use the images on another site, as long as 1) you're not making money off the images, and 2) proper credit for each image is provided. We require all of our images to be properly attributed to the original source, so I would advise you to do two things for each of our images that you use:

  1. Specify the image's original source. To use File:Epguide320.jpg as an example, that would be the episode "Citadel Rescue." For legal reasons, this is required.
  2. Include the URL from Wookieepedia where you found the image. Using the same example, this would be http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/File:Epguide320.jpg. This is optional, but if you want to be thorough, I'd suggest just linking to the Wookieepedia URL somewhere on the page for each image.

I hope all of that is clear. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Good luck with the project! CC7567 (talk) 05:33, September 13, 2016 (UTC)
