Friend!
Hi, I am Jinko. Nice to meet you. Can I be your friend? - Jinko 02:02, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Yes, you may certainly use my userbox. And thanks for asking first. Chack Jadson Talk 12:53, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

- Those numbers are the numbers of characters removed or added from a page. Green means some were added, red means some were removed. And by characters I mean letters, symbols (*&^%) and numbers. Chack Jadson Talk 12:58, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
- 1-I'm not sure if there is one. I just type in colors and preview it.
- 2-No, you have to upload them first.
- 3-Sure you can use it. And you're not bothering me, so don't so worry about it. But I'd prefer if you asked before using any of my custom userboxes. Chack Jadson Talk 22:34, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Re:Great Hyperspace War
- Sorry I took so long in getting back to you; I've been away a lot. I can't answer that, but maybe it was just that the technology for the rifles wasn't widely available. And yeah, the drawing is based of LOTR, but the technology in it is similar to the comics, so it is mostly accurate. -- 40pxdmirableAckbar (It's A Trap!) 16:14, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I had a Nazgul on my page for a while. However, I did not get blocked and when I removed it, someone (Darth Culator, I think) deleted it. I don't really mind though, as it was for my now-defunct fanon bio. Anyway, you can have non-Star Wars things as long as they are used in an article. If they're just for your uaerpage, you can only have three and all must be tagged with a special template, which I do now recall at the moment. If you want I can find it though. So I you'r enot blind, it's not that wildly known of a policy. I think that's all of it anyway. And yeah, that forum did make me chuckle. Chack Jadson Talk 18:50, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks a ton for the award. Anyway, here's the template: {{User-image}}. You can upload three images designated solely for your userpage so long as you tag them with that template. Chack Jadson Talk 20:59, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Good Article Promotion
Well, first off, by looking at the history of Jorus C'baoth, you made your edits after the article was already promoted to GA status. So I'd say, no, you shouldn't add that userbox to your page. I suggest finding a subject you know a lot about, and picking an article about that subject (be it a battle from Tales of the Jedi, a character from the Hand of Thrawn Duology, etc.) Then do work on that article, source it, expand it, just make it so it complies with the GA rules on the GA noms page. For example, I expanded Battle of the Great Pit of Carkoon and sourced it. Try looking at the history of good articles and checking out what it looked like before someone (Greyman, Ackbar, Fourdot, Graestan all well-known GA writers) worked on it and after. For examples of good articles, just see this page: Wookieepedia:Good articles. You can also do co-projects, which might be a good way to start, working with an established user, or simply getting advice from them. Hope that helps. If not, feel free to ask for more detail. - I'm not really sure I get your question, but if it's what I think, then just use the book/game. For example, I'm working on Joruus C'baoth. All his info comes from The Thrawn Trilogy, so I just used those three books as sources. Chack Jadson (Talk) 20:33, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I need a lot of help.
Do u remember me? U talked to me before about the Baradium-core thermal detonators? Can u help me with making my own user page? Because, I'm absolutely clueless about how to do things on Wookieepedia and the link u gave me was no help, no offense. General Lam 02:14, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks! And...uh...can I...?
Thanks! I think I got the basics down for editing a page... Though I'm a little bit pessimistic about doing something wrong and then getting my account deleted or blocked... Btw...can I use some ideas u got for ur user page... like the sections for the books and video games u've read/played...? Marco Lam 02:32, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
On the watchlist...what do the (+) and (-) mean? At first my user page got (+1,724) now it has (-42) or something... and one of the articles I created got from (-28) to a (-111)...it seems to get lower everytime I revise something... Is it bad? Marco Lam 08:34, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
So...I finally created a user page. Did I do a good job? I can't get the userboxes off to the side like u and many others did tho. It has to stay at the bottom. Otherwise, my sections will be included in the userboxes. I don't know how to fix that problem. And I don't know how to upload images...not to mention I'm too afraid of doing something against the rules and stuff... Marco Lam 01:07, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Thank You.
Yeah, thanks for your help. I actually fixed the problem of my userboxes earlier this afternoon. But I hesitate at uploading images b/c they make it sound so serious as if it is very easy to do something wrong and get in big trouble.
And about my personal information...it's kind of too late to change my username I'm guessing... Yeah, I should steer away from personal information but I wouldn't be able to take away my last name. I actually once put on my user page: "Btw, this is not my real name..." but I doubt any1 would believe that. But...I wonder if I do get tracked...what would the ppl ever want with me... Cyfiero 02:30, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Happy New Year to you too! But btw, over where I am right now, it's really actually the 31st of December not the 1st of January, but close enough! I don't know how to adjust the time actually. :D Cyfiero 04:28, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Short lightsabers and shotos...
People keep insisting that short lightsabers and shotos were the same thing. But aren't short lightsabers lightsabers with short hilts while shotos are lightsabers with short blades. Like in KOTOR and KOTOR II, the short lightsabers have shorter hilts for better 2-weapon wielding but they had the same length as regular lightsabers and are nowhere near the length of a shoto's blade. Please tell me if you agree with me on this because no one would talk to me about it. Cyfiero 05:05, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, then I'll heed your words. But btw, short lightsabers have the same space for lightsaber crystals as regular lightsabers. Well, I talked with another Wookieepedian, I'm going to try to find proof to whether short lightsabers and shotos are the same thing or not. Yeah, I know what you mean I guess, the articles on which I answered other people's questions or replied to their comments, I noticed that the ones that have not been replied to until I came were from mostly 1 or 2 years ago so I guess it does take a while sometimes. Thanks for the warning though! Cyfiero 00:37, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, it's not as short as you might think. It was only a little bit shorter, just like the blade being also a little bit shorter. I'm sure that it can't have been a shoto, since it was too long to be...but maybe it was just a variation of a lightsaber between the length of the shoto and the regular lightsaber. The short lightsabers were only in KotOR and KotOR II though.... You've played the games before right? If you did, then you would know how they looked like...I haven't seen a short lightsaber for a while so I might be mistakened with its description... But if you have the games, you can check them out yourselves... As I said, there blades were probably shorter, but nowhere as near as short as a shoto. Cyfiero 02:13, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, that observation should help. Someone else said that shotos were probably the evolution of short lightsabers since they were four millenia apart. I think I agree with him. That would mean that they were basically the same thing in a way I guess... so maybe we should add information on the shoto article about a Jedi Civil War era shoto that was known simply as short lightsabers and were approx. 75% as long as the regular lightsaber in terms of blade and hilt? That's just a suggestion, we can go by something different or leave it alone...Cyfiero 05:24, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your help btw! Cyfiero 05:30, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, that's an approximate observation. However, we can still see that it is longer than a shoto. I'll see for myself as soon as I can, but right now I have a ton of homework to do and all my files got deleted so I'll have to play far enough into the game to get a short lightsaber again. But do you agree that it is basically the same thing as a shoto except that the shoto is an evolution of the short lightsaber?
- Okay, sure then Cyfiero 23:59, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- Don't forget Darth Skirata! :) But I don't think Goodwood agrees. Cyfiero 00:11, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yup, they're the same thing. We got a response from the knowledge bank. Seems quite simple and unsupported to me, but basically it's just what Goodwood said (I'm thinking). Cyfiero 19:35, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Another Question
How do other people make their usernames a certain color during editing? And also changing the (talk) thing. I also noticed that people make different symbols after their username? Can you please tell me how can I do that too? :) Cyfiero 05:41, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks. Cyfiero 04:41, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks again, this time I actually made my own custom signature. It looks kind of like Darth Skirata's, but I did not copy it. Cyfiero II 20px(Comlink) 04:48, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
