If you look at the start of chapter fourteen, it says that for the 'first twelve years music was a thing that simply did not exist. Yes the music of his surrondings played: wind whistling through the stone spires, the jostling of rust-bone chimes made by the melodic hum of a speeder cutting a swath across the hissing sand'

Would that not mean he was 12 (23 BBY) when he encountered Palpatine and not 10 (25 BBY)? As after he met Palpatine he was assigned to protecting the droids --Lewisr (talk) 21:43, November 12, 2016 (UTC)

  • It never does specifically state that he was 10 years old when the event occurred (only establishing his birthdate via "20 years old two decades ago"). But at the same both the prelude and epilogue establish those events on the Imperialis as being "three decades ago" from 5 ABY, thus being in 25 BBY. Even though this conflict seems to me like a discrepancy on the part of the author, it is possible that the first time he heard opera was for some reason two years after his introduction to Palpatine. It doesn't necessarily mean that Palpatine introduced him to opera on their first encounter, which is cemented as happening in 25 BBY. - Captain Parmenter (talk) 22:12, November 12, 2016 (UTC)
    • I'm fairly certain the "three decades ago" for the prologue and epilogue of Life Debt is just a generalization—I doubt it means exactly thirty years ago. Cevan IMPpress (talk) 22:16, November 12, 2016 (UTC)

Dooku

Dooku left the Order during the events of Dooku: Jedi Lost, and before the events of Master & Apprentice begin which is set around 40 BBY. It just hasn't been updated on Dooku's page of as yet. Age of Republic - Count Dooku 1 also establishes he left before 32 BBY as he tells a Jedi he wondered if he remained with the Order, would Qui-Gon have died on Naboo --Lewisr (talk) 15:04, August 11, 2019 (UTC)
